Bloomsbury Publishing has sent the following e-mail to members of their Web Club, announcing the release date of the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince paperback: Quote:
HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE by J K Rowling was the UK’s fastest selling book of all time when published in hardback on Saturday 16th July 2005. It sold over 2 million copies in the UK in the first 24 hours alone and is still in the top ten bestseller list five months later. The Harry Potter series has now sold over 300 million copies worldwide in 63 languages.
Bloomsbury Publishing is delighted to announce that HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE will be published in paperback priced at £7.99 on Friday 23rd June 2006. The book will be published with two jackets, one for children and one for the adult market.

Awesome! Im actually buying all the books again in hardback, only they will be put on display and not touched ... around the display will also be motion sensors, a video camera and 24 hour security. No little kids or big kids are gonna get their grubby fingers on them!!! ... they are sacred. Okay, I'm starting to sound a little too 'attached'

Weird...the paperback ed will be released a whole later??? Is that normal??? When I went to get my copy of the translated version of HBP (translated to dutch), the paperbacks were also available....I thought that was normal...guess it ain't... |
