HP4U has a new set report from filming of ' Goblet of Fire' which took place at Black Park. Quote:
Filming right now (picture Hagrid asking Harry to meet him in his cabin for a surprise!) are night scenes with Hagrid, Harry, Bill, Madam Maxime & Co. Of course then, there are the Dragons ! Obviously the dragons will be CGI based (and no doubt brilliant at that), but as with the award winning Buckbeak scenes, there is the use of a prop Dragon.
However, it is Charlie, not Bill, who is the Weasley who works with Dragons. And, earlier, Alex Crockford who plays Charlie did say he wasn't signed on for GoF. He even said his character had been cut completely from the script.
This could either mean that he's been signed on since or that Bill is replacing Charlies despite the fact that his character does not work with dragons. Or else it could be a mistake and the person who wrote this could've meant Charlie. Quote:

Alex: I am, although I feel I ought to mention at this point that I'm not actually going to be in it, I was only hired as an extra for film three and they've cut me out of the script.
One of Mike Newell's assistants sent me a letter saying that if they did write me back in I would be called up as I am currently on their files as "the official Charlie Weasley".

They HAVE been doing set up shots for Order of the Phoenix, not here but at many of the studios, NOT actual filming yet

I've just found the interview with Richard Fish (Bill) http://www.weasleynetwork.org/weasley/richardfish.shtml in which he says: Quote:
After they learned I was keen to return to hopefully make Bill have a larger prescence, they confirmed that they were interested in re hiring me for the job.
So Bill in GoF, but no Charlie? It doesn't appear to make any sense.
I hope this isn't another Kloves cock up. Charlie = dragons not Bill! |

It just doesn't make sense at all. Alex - Charlie says he was cut yet Richard - Bill wasn't yet arguably Charlie's role as dragon tamer/worker is more important. You can't just switch character's occupations around. Perhaps they're hoping no-one will notice, but Alex & Richard/Charlie & Bill look completely different. Not to mention in PS Ron even says Charlie works in Romania with Dragons. | |

but it would make a lot more sense to cut bill from the script as they only need him for the end really, unless he featured at the world cup, charlies is more important with the dragons, well theyve got me confused already | |

oy the whole charlie-bill thing is just frustrating. i hope that they aren't using bill as the one who will be working with the dragons, since it's just not right!
