| | |  Battle between Dan and Basilisk named one of the best
Thanks to Danradcliffe.co.uk for informing us that the scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) battles the Basilisk, has been named one of the best.
Sci Fi Magazine has named it's Fantasy Top Ten in it's December 2004 issue and Dan and the Basilisk placed at Number Nine of the Top Ten Battles. Go Dan! And the Basilisk too

im not sure if it'd be one of the best if being compared to sci-fi films because im not really a sci-fi person. but it was amazing to see this small 11 year old boy kill this large dangerous creature -- thats what i think was amazing lol.

I thought it was really cool, I mean the whole running away and stabbing it in the neck. I mean it went on for a good 10 minutes, so I thought it was great.

I didn't like that scene very much...the CG and animatronics were horrible in CoS, at least compared to other movies (coughLotRcoughhacksneeze).
