| | |  Ballet Shoes to air in Canada & New Zealand
Ballet Shoes, Emma Watson's first post-Potter project, is set to air in Canada & New Zealand following its transmitting in the U.K. Dates are not yet known however it has been confirmed it will be shown on CBC and TVNZ. The website also tells us that Emma's sister's parts, as younger versions of her character, didn't make the final cut.
The drama airs on Dec. 26th on BBC1 in Britain, with the DVD being released on Jan. 7th 2008.

QUESTION: I know that video tapes from the UK won't work on American VCRs...will DVDs bought from the UK work on my American DVD player? If so, I want to buy the DVD since I can't see it on TV.

DVDs have regions, depending where it came from, or something like it. UK DVDs are probably Region 2, and USA is Region 1. So, unless you have a region-free player, it won't work. =(

Actually you can change regions on a computer. I learned that when I had a French student come over and give me a DVD. France is Region 2 (EDIT: I'm very sure; if anyone knows and that isn't it go ahead and correct me. It's either 2 or 3) so I'm only assuming the UK is as well.
So since we all have computers, you might only be able to watch it on your computer after changing regions (just a couple clicks and it's done).
