| | |  BAFTA's to air in UK AND US TONIGHT
As previously reported, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is nominated for 4 BAFTA's. The awards ceremony which takes place on Saturday (tommorow) at the Odeon, Leicester Square, London, will be aired both in the UK AND the US. BBC1 will air the awards on Saturday the 12th at 8:10PM. BBC America will air the awards on Saturday the 12th at 9pm ET/PT. The program will be preceded by red carpet coverage starting at 8.30pm ET/PT.
It has not been confirmed whether any of the Potter actors will be in attendance at the awards.

With the awards season underway, the focus is now on London as Stephen Fry hosts the British Academy Film Awards from the Odeon, Leicester Square. Natasha Kaplinsky is also on hand to greet the arrivals on the red carpet.
Among the international nominees are Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman and Leonardo DiCaprio, and British talent up for awards include Clive Owen, Imelda Staunton, Kate Winslet and Mike Leigh. The famous faces presenting awards include Cate Blanchett, Juliette Lewis, Joseph Fiennes and Sienna Miller.
Alongside awards decided by the Academy is the Orange Film of the Year, as voted for by the public. There is also a presentation of the Academy Fellowship and The Michael Balcon Award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema. |
