Ron has his arm around Hermione! That's what it looks like. I think the Darkmark over their head means one of the Weasleys will die. That red hair girl is Ginny.

Well, on the stand she was separated. This isn't clear enough to say whether she is or she isn't. But before she looked rather ghostly, certainly not as clear as Ron and Hermione. If it is Ginny that would indicate her relation to Voldemort is making her weaker.

They made this because this was only a promtional stand but factly on the cover, you can see the red haired one standing with Ron and Hermione and I don't think that Lily will stand with them..I didn't notice that Ron was putting his arm around Hermione..I don't think so.

Well, the red-haired person is a guess. We can clearly see from this that Ron and Hermione are there. Why separate them, even once, if they were meant to be together? I still think the other person belongs to a scene in the pensieve as does the village below the Dark Mark -- which I suspect to be Godric's Hollow as that is supposedly the opening chapter.

I think we now must look at the cover of the book that was made first then the promotional stand. They made the pillar that was on the stand cover some thing so they can on one side make Ron, Hermione and the red haired one stand on the same side...The red haired girl will cover the pillar. So they separate them but what we must care of is the cover of the book. not the promotional stand.. They stand together..All of them. So ,it's Ginny.

I just wonder what this says about Ginny. Could she have a huge plot in HBP?

If the red-haired person is not Ginny, it will be another Weasley. As for Ron and Hermione, I think both will realize how important is it for them to get together before anything happens to them because now its inevitable that Voldemort will start his reign of terror again.

But why separate them at all if that's the case? I dunno, I still think it's Lily given the evidence; the dark mark, the village and the contents of the first chapter combined with the fact that DD and Harry are looking in a pensieve.

One thing's for sure, it's never been confirmed who those people are. Could be Molly and Arthur, for all we know, considering the pensieve.

Yes Cherabela. I prefer the UK cover simply because we get to see the pensieve in a cave with a rowing boat. And that lightening bolt/pillar ring. It's much more mysterious to me.

I like U.S Cover find, green just isn't my favorite color. I prefer the boat, cavr and ring over the darkmark. She might have brown hair, I was just reading her biography at HPL.

I was thinking, shouldn't they release an excerpt soon? Remember in 2003 we got to read a pragraph from OotP before it came out. It was the bit when Harry arrived at Grimmauld Place and saw Ron and Hermione. I hope we get to read something from HBP.
