| | | Another Reader Report From The JKR Book Event - Another Reader Report From The JKR Book Summary:
Another Reader Report From The JKR Book Event Sent In To Mugglnet By A Reader. Article: Mugglenet have another report from Joanna a regular visitor to the site from the JK Rowling book signing event on Sunday(15th). Quote:
I* was one of the lucky 500 people who saw J.K. Rowling at the Edinburgh Book Festival on Sunday. In fact, I was the one who asked if the barman at the Hog's Head was Dumbledore's brother, Aberforth. Quote:
I also took the opportunity to ask JK a few questions when she signed my book. Firstly, I asked if there was a reason why Ginny Weasley is always associated with cats (she is described by Percy in COS as being a cat lover, is often described as being curled up like a cat and once made a noise 'like an angry cat') but JK answered 'No, there's not, although you are obviously a very careful reader'. This to me sounded slightly hesitant as though there is something more to Ginny than we realise yet. Quote: She might of answered me further if I had not immediately asked her what would happen to Kreacher and 12 Grimmauld Place now that Sirius has gone. Although she dodged this question well she did say that we will find that out very early on, right at the start of the next book. Quote:
From what JK also said during the questions on Sunday about Hermione's parents remaining as background characters in the stories, it would seem that many people's speculations that Harry spends his summer holiday in the next book at Hermione's house are wrong. It's still possible that Harry will go back to 12 Grimmauld Place because when I then asked if it was still the headquarters of the Order she just said 'You'll find that out too!'. Quote: At this point I had to leave and let everyone else in the queue get their book signed. So, not a lot of concrete evidence there I suppose but I wanted to let someone know what I found out in case anyone has any further ideas. Source: Mugglenet. |

That interesting that of all the questions, she asked about Ginny and cats, but I do agree there is more to Ginny than may meet the eye
Good read

I love hearing of all these little things that we know we'll find out about later. Something to look forward to in reading the next 2.

That's an interesting report, especially the bit of Grimmauld Place and Kreacher. I'm glad it's right at the beginning of the next book, because I don't know how much longer I can go without knowing what happened.

Yeah I always wondered why Ginny was a little cat frenzy....
Maybe it was me just being overly suspicious like I am about everything in Harry Potter...

That information about Kreacher and 12 Grimmauld Place being close to the beginning of the next book in conjunction with the fact that Harry is supposed to have his shortest stay ever at the Dursleys, makes me think that Harry will indeed be going to Grimmauld Place over the summer. Anyone else thinking that?

Anyone else thinking that? I agree with HermyOneGranger, It makes sense to me that he would go back there, and I expected that we would see more of Kreacher and 12 Grimmauld Place. I can hardly wait for the next book. All these clues just have me itching for more!

Anyone else thinking that? I really don't think that Harry will live there only because he is going to be really emotional i think (because he got really dark and angry bout cedric) so i could just imagine how he will be in this one and also it will make it worst cause it will bring back the memorie he has of him. you know?!?

I could imagine that Sirius left Grimmauld Place to Harry (maybe in a will), after all Sirius had no heirs and Harry was the closest thing to a relative for him! That way Harry could very well be the new owner of Grimmauld Place now, and I'm sure he'll then want to show up there and figure out what the Order is up to ... maybe even want to join the Order to revenge Sirius....

I find it interesting that J. K. hesitated on the fact that Ginny cat likeness has nothing to do with the book.

I agree with flobberworm. And the whole thing about Harry being even more dark and angry in this book. But he may take a diffrent aproach to his sadness. He may actually just be sort of depressed....
