Just noticed something.. That Nigel guy, the first year. His name is William Melling, he has the same name as Harry Melling who plays Dudley. Could there be a possibility they might be related??

I wonder if this William Melling is Harry Melling's younger brother (the boy who plays Dudley). I don't remember a Nigel in the films...what about Dennia Creevey? And why have they hcnaged the actress who plays Angelina? She's not new, it's just they've changed the actor for the role.

Not all the cast signed it - note the absence of Alan Rickman, Raph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, David Thewlis, Timothy Spall and Emma Thompson also. Plus no Brendan Gleeson, no Jason Isaacs.

Yeah.. most of the professors. I somehow prefer Danielle Tabor to play Angelina. It's already imprinted in my head on how she looks like.

I wonder if this first year is going to be just as random as that Slytherin ratty kid or that Black kid who doesn't even exist in the books, might I add -- 5 boys in Gryffindor 3rd year - Harry, Ron, Seamus, Dean & Neville.

I hate it when they add random characters to the films, it spoils its integrity -- I don't care if he's related to Harry Melling it still isn't right to credit a person for a character that doesn't exist! Why create a 'Nigel' when the story needs a Dennis Creevey!

Thats cool, but I liked the other Angelina. It's cool that all these charries are coming back and I cannot wait till the 4th movie.

I totally agree with you, Em!! I want a Dennis, not a Nigel! And if william is Harry's brother or something... what good will it do?? Harry's not gonna be in GoF. The Durselys were cut, weren't they?

I agree with this one. It's one thing to change/delete/re-arrange scenes, but to add a character that doesn't exist? What's the point? There are plenty of random characters with names in the books, why don't they use those instead? And I'm not dissing that kid on POA who kept appearing out of nowhere, but while I was watching it, I'm like, who are you? Enough with non-existent characters. Stick to the book!

I hated it when things like this happen. Why add characters to the books that don't exist? It doesn't make the movie better in any way. It ruins it. I wonder if JK will approve of this. Most likely she will. Which sucks. I thought this director promised to make the movie just like the book? Don't make promises you can't keep.

^^ Yeah... Before this, JK was so keen on finding a director who would follow everything that happens in the book and now she's approving all these changes?? Is it me or JK might be all too excited about the movie and stuff that she just approves it?? It makes sense... Since PoA, so many changes have been made and JK approves them. Like the uniforms, it's supposed to be just black robes and not black robes with the colour of your house around the edges.

And why is Jamie taking dance classes? Crabbe and Goyle aren't supposed to have dates. So are they gonna dance by themselves? No they're not.. they have dates. I'm actually beginning to dislike all these changes. Really, really dislike them.. But whatever it is, they shouldn't have changed characters around. Like the girl playing Angelina eventhough she didn't say anything. That black kid in PoA.. I didn't really mind that coz' it might be that Alfonso wanted to show that there are other Gryffindor boys. Hogwarts students ARE supposed to be over 1000 but we've only seen 5 Gryffindor boys in their year.

No, according to JK's list there are 40 kids in each year and all Gryffindor boys are accounted for so unless he's older or younger he's a nobody.

Actually, that is in canon. The uniforms change over time. In CoS Voldemort's uniform was different to Harry's so it stands that eventually Harry's would change too.

Yeah... but it was mentioned in GoF where Ron complained about his dress robes. JK described Harry's robes to be like his school-robes except they're not black but bottle-green.

yeah for example the black kid in POA who turns up all the time the "Like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands" kid.. that bugged me..

cool! i think the girl who played Angelina before was good..but she didn't really have any lines or do much, so you couldn't really tell. the girl who'snow playing Angelina looks really good too though..kind of more how JK desribes her in the book.

I think Tiana Benjamin's really pretty. Exactly how I had imagined Angelina.

I think that the other Angelina got too mature and old for her part so they had to find someone else. I really wish i could have that book though,i would do anything! I wonder who got it? oh well....

I have a question about the GoF cast: Is the girl who played Parvati in POA the same actress in GoF? And I thought I saw a Lavender Brown in the credits in POA...who was she? Was she the black girl with her hair in braids all the time?

I wish the same girl from POA will be Paravati in GoF. I thought she was pretty.

I Kinda think the new Angelina is better......
