| | | And the baby is called...
Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray, is the name given to Jo Rowling and Dr. Neil Murray's baby girl who was born on sunday night, the 23rd of January.
She updated her site this afternoon with the happy news. Quote:
She is ridiculously beautiful, though I suppose I might be biased.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine
At first I thought it sorted of sounded male but then it is unusual and I like unusual. It just struck me as a sort of surprise because her others are named Jessica and David, I guess I expected something that sounded sort of the same as those names, like Megan or something.
All the same, congrats!!!

Eh I don't think JK would go that far when naming her children.
I love that name!

Congratulations, and may Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray have a long and happy life.
Well, I'm thrilled for JK, and three children (two girls and a boy) seems just perfect... but Jessica and David are such normal-sounding names... and Mackenzie isn't normal in the UK... but it's nice it's unusual. I guess I was just surprised. And "Kenzie" would be cute.

^ I'd say the 'Mac' part is more Scottish Hmmm wonder if she was influenced by the recent winner of Celeb Big Brother |
