| | |  Amazon guarantees release date delivery for DH
Amazon has today confirmed an alliance with UPS and the U.S. Postal Service to ensure that fans get their copy of Deathly Hallows on the morning of Saturday July 21st. The price of shipping remains the same as the current standard rate, however Amazon Prime members will get the delivery free of charge. Should the book not be delivered on the right day, the cost of the novel will be refunded. Quote:
“We are excited to once again delight Amazon.com customers by offering guaranteed Saturday delivery for ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ so the book can arrive at their doors the first day it’s available,” said Greg Greeley, vice president of books at Amazon.com. “Our agreement with UPS and the U.S. Postal Service means that hundreds of thousands of Harry Potter fans across the country can start reading this final Harry Potter book the day it’s released without having to stand in long lines or stay up all night to do it.”
