Alice in Wonderland Hollywood fan event with Helena Bonham Carter + new film stills
Helena Bonham Carter will be at the Hollywood & Highland Center central courtyard in Hollywood tonight, along with her husband director Tim Burton and fellow castmembers Mia Wasikowska (Alice), Anne Hathaway (White Queen), Crispin Glover (Knave of Hearts), Matt Lucas (Tweedles) and Michael Sheen (White Rabbit) to promote Disney's Alice in Wonderland.
The Great Big Ultimate Fan Event will also feature musical sets by bands 3OH!3, Metro Station, Kerli and Never Shout Never, as well as chances for prizes such as meet-and-greets and a sneak peek of film footage.
The event will be streamed live, along with a brand new clip from the film. The event can be seen starting at 5 p.m. PST on MySpace, Facebook or on Ustream below. Edit: You can view Helena's segment at the 5:30 timemark.
The Hot Topic store located on the third level of the Hollywood & Highland Center has been transformed to a mad version of Wonderland. The first 250 customers who purchase a special-edition Alice in Wonderland T-shirt will receive a wristband giving them access to an autograph signing with Mia Wasikowska and a seat in the preferred viewing pit.
The first 250 fans to purchase a 30H!3 T-shirt and preorder an "Almost Alice" CD will be granted access to a special meet-and-greet with the band, preferred seating for the concert and admission to view 3D sneak peak footage of the film afterward.
Fans dressed in their best Alice in Wonderland inspired costume may win a chance to view the footage as well.

I WANTED TO GO! But no ride, as my mom is working and my dad is sick. Besides, even if I would have gone straight after school it would have been jam-packed with people.
Ah well, I can go to cool things when I get my drivers license later on... hopefully!

Same here! I wish I could go but I have to get that darn old driver's license to see all the amazing things happening around LA. And yeah, even going after class would mean fighting the madness of a LA fan crowd...we are insane people.
The event sounds like so much fun. I have to go next time, but in the meantime watching this film must be on my priority list!

I think they're in a domestic partnership. Anyways, it's not like he only selects her for the roles because of their relationship. She is genuinely good at each role she plays in his films so it's like there really is no other person to play a certain role in a Tim Burton film, except for her! You can't imagine any other actress. Her, Johnny Depp, and Tim Burton make an amazing team!
