Article:

Alfonso greatly impressed by Emma

Contact Music are reporting that:

Quote:
HARRY POTTER + THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN director ALFONSO CUARON was so impressed with young actress EMMA WATSON while filming the new Potter movie he's desperate to work with her again.

The Mexican moviemaker was stunned with the 14-year-old's acting skills and is looking for projects, on which to work with her again.

He says, "She could have a big career. She's growing up so beautifully. I'd love to work with her again, away from Harry Potter.

"She listens intensely, and there's an intelligence and warmth about her."

I dunno... I always thought Daniel had the most potential. You can always identify the improvements with Dan, with Emma it was always just a tiny bit better. Still very good though!

yeah, i wnat to c if there is "girl power" and if she portrays it well. i am not saying that she's not gud, cause then she wouldn't be hermione, but i wann see after PoA, how much her skills have improved since CoS.

I had a feeling about Emma. She seemed to be very dedicated to her work in the first two movies and you could tell she took being an actress very seriously. I think we will all find out on June 4th that she has become a very serious actress as she has grown older and adapted more to her profession. I think she will only get better as time goes on. PoA of course has a lot more Hermione in it than the first two or the ones proceeding it as far as that goes. It gives Emma a chance to show her stuff. I hope she does all of the HP movies but I can't wait to see her in other films.

P.S. I'm not neglecting Rupert and Daniel they are both sweethearts and I'll always think there great.

I also think Emma is becoming a better actress. From what I've seen in the trailers, she has improved a lot!

Yes, I think Emma really is a great actress. So is Rupert, I think they really make the films a lot better.
And it looks like Alfonso has finally gotten a good performance out of Dan this time too.

I'm sure Emma and Rupert will both have good careers after HP.

They are getting alot better with each movie. It would be so strange to see Emma as another character not Hermione but I suppose she has the talent and the looks so nothing is stopping her.

I wouldn't say Emma was a good actress - I think she's the worst out of the three. She just isn't Hermione, and I don't think she's done a good job as her at all.

I don't think that Emma is similar to the Hermione I pictured, but she does do a good job portraying the Hermione the director wanted. I think she could be very successful in other roles.
