TORONTO (CP) - Advance tickets will be available beginning Friday at Famous Players for the June 4 opening of Harry Potter (news - web sites) and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
The theatre chain says the tickets can be purchased at select box offices as well as online (
www.famousplayers.com). They are also available now at Empire theatres in Atlantic Canada.
In addition, the much-anticipated third in the Harry Potter film series will be screened at Imax theatres in Halifax, Montreal, the Toronto area, Edmonton, Calgary and Langley, B.C., using the new Imax DMR technology.
The Warner Bros. film is based on the third book in the J.K. Rowling (news - web sites) worldwide bestseller series and is directed by Alfonso Cuaron (news). The director of the first two films, Chris Columbus (news), serves as producer this time.
