The Sun reports that various retailers are finding that the British adult edition cover art for Deathly Hallows is more popular with customers than the children's edition. Quote:
Nearly half of orders at Waterstone’s are for the adult edition — and more than 40 shops said adult orders were overtaking.

I like the children's editions better. When I think HP, I think about the great humour, thrills and characters Rowling writes so well, so I like to have a little more colour and excitement.

the adult cover is also my fave! I like the mystery of the Slytherin locket. it suits the darker theme of the story.. of course it doesn't match up with the UK children's covers.
being older myself, I would buy the US version if I saw it in Australia  | |

I think the US version is better than both of them, but I can understand why people would prefer the adult cover... the Slytherin locket, I mean seriously
