Dan Radcliffe forwarded his new years message to Jenna from DanRadcliffe.com. He mentions filming, school, the new edition of Aced magazine and offers his thoughts to those caught out in the tsunami. Quote:
Dear Jenna
Thank you for the fantastic gifts I received from you and your staffers. I had a great time opening them on Christmas morning and felt very touched that you had all been thinking of me. I LOVED the new edition of ACED - absolutely terrific. I look forward to listening to RADIANT when I have time to focus on it. I am so busy at the moment - filming between Christmas and New Year and preparing for major exams in January! Life is hectic!
I can' t thank you enough for the beautiful autograph book signed by the Killers - I had a great time meeting them with my friends when they were in London and we really enjoyed the concert.
A big thank you to Allo for the guitar strap, Kim for the guitar strings and Coralie for the minature guitars which were very cute.
Again I was overwhelmed by the generosity of my fans who donated to Demelza House - this is just FANTASTIC and means such a lot to those children and their families who are involved with this special place.
Rose, Alison,Mary,Lam,Coralie,Lauren, Kim,Judy, and last but not least you, Jenna thank you for your time, effort and generosity.
Filming is going well. As I said, this is the toughest film physically for me and my busiest academic year so I am packing a lot in - wish me luck!
Through Danradcliffe.com I would like to wish everyone a very happy and peaceful New Year and to everyone who has suffered in the Tsunamis earthquake my thoughts are with you all.

Major exams in Janaury? I can't think of any British national exams that take place in January...

Science is done in modules so maybe he means those. Otherwise, it's important to remember he goes to a Private School. Then again, the system for GCSE's is the same nationally so....oh I know, some schools don't hold their MOCKS until January sometimes. Maybe that's what he means.

yeah itll prolly be his science modular, or it also might be ict or a gnvq of somesort, i had a major unit exam in january for mine. as if he got to meet the killers! thats so unfair, he gets to be harry potter and meet the killers

Yeah so it's either modulars or Mocks. He's not old enough to do GNVQ, isn't that for those who don`t achieve enough GCSE's to do A Levels? And, as far as we know, none of the young actors apart from Chris Rankin, have embarked on education after 16.
I still hate doing mine. Why did I have to stay on for As and A2, why?!

In highschool (in Canada) we always had exams for the first semester in January. It sucked because we were off for Christmas and then we were expected to remember everything and pass the exams after 2 or 3 weeks not doing anything remotely school related. *wishes Dan good luck and good health as he tries to pack in all the things he has to do*

I thought he wasn't old enough to do his GCSE's yet? I am a bit confused (it must be my age!) Rupert is nearly a whole year older and he mentioned doing mocks before Christmas, so is Dan in accelerated learning or something?

^ He is! He's in Year 11 now (15 going on 16). Rupert mentioned his mocks a year ago LOL He's recently mentioned in an interview, about being one of the UK's greatest 16 year olds, how great it is to have finished school.
