Summary:
Page, from DR.co.uk, recently presented Dan with his new cookbook, compiled by fans, jammed pack with international recipes. She has now posted up her interview with him and a small history on how the cookbook came about.

Article:

A new interview with Dan

Page, at DR.co.uk, writes:

Quote:
I also had a wonderful opportunity to interview Dan on the set as well while on vacation. The interview has been transcribed as well as voice recorded and I am awaiting the final "Okay" to publish both the transcript and the recording, as I'm sure you'll want to hear Dan's voice. I also had the pleasure of meeting David Heyman, the producer of the Harry Potter films which was a wonderful surprise as well. I'd like to thank Alan Radcliffe, Dan's father, for having a pleasant, complimentary chat with me regarding my work on the website. He also showed me a wall in Dan's dressing room in which Dan has every single one of his pictures with the Make-A-Wish children whom he's met. In Alan's words, "this is what keeps it real" for Dan, Alan said. It was emotional for me to see that but what a wonderful gift for those children provided by Make A Wish!

Although I would like to give you a complete description of my visit regarding experiences or others on the set I bumped into, I'd like to personally relish those memories for myself and am refraining from posting any pictures of those memories. The main purpose of my visit was to present the cookbook, and interview Dan. I cannot wait for you to read it, let alone hear it. While awaiting the final "okay" to post the entire interview, however, here's a few excerpts to questions Dan answered for me which I'm not sure have ever been made public before. He is also excited about Mike Newell coming on board as the first British Director of the films.

Regarding how Dan might write the last Harry Potter book:

"Um, I don't know if I can, I think there's going to be something, and I'd like to say before I answer this, that this is completely unfounded. Jo Rowling has told me absolutely nothing I promise, but I think because of the link between Harry and Voldemort's wands, there's going to be something, whereby, Harry, I mean I don't want to cause a big out cry. But I've got really bad feelings that something not so good's going to happen to Harry. Because maybe like if he died that's the only way Voldemort could die as well and so they cancel each other out. I think people are going to go mad when I've said that I'm sure. Or he would become a Quidditch player. It's a happier ending."          ~Daniel Radcliffe

Regarding Dan's favorite book and script

"The third film with Harry, my favorite script, however, is the fourth, I think it's a masterpiece, I really do. And I think Steve Kloves, the screenwriter, is a genius because how he's managed to squeeze the fourth book into, about a hundred and twenty one pages or something, and manage to keep all the really important stuff that is completely necessary to have in there, it's amazing just so much stuff that goes on."                      ~Daniel Radcliffe
