| | | A copy of HBP is sold early in NY
It was previously revealed that several copies of ' Half-Blood Prince' had been sold early in Canada.
It's also been reported that another copy was sold early in New York to a 9-year-old fan who admitted to reading 2 pages of the novel. Quote:
"It's pretty amazing,'' Sylum told the Poughkeepsie Journal Tuesday at his home, 82 miles north of New York City. "Millions and millions of people around the world are waiting for this book.''
"I opened to the middle of the book and I read two pages maybe," Sylum said. "I didn't want to start at the beginning because I didn't want to spoil the surprises."
"We're going to do the right thing,'' said Mike Muldoon, the boy's stepfather. "We don't want to ruin it for other kids and take away from the experience of everyone reading it together.''

But that is nice that they are waiting to read it with everyone else on the day that it comes out. I am so excited for this book to come out, and reading all of this stuff is torture, lol.

Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.

I really don't understand how these books are being put on the shelf early by "mistake" how can these people not know that they have to wait until the 16th, I'm sure the boxes weren't just dropped on their doorstep with no instructions! People bother me! If I happened to have come accross this though, I probably would have been really stupid and went to the manager or another staff member and freaked at them "Don't you know you're not allowed to have these out yet!" instead of just quietly purchasing one and leaving with it Only a few more days and we will all have it though!!! Squeeeeeee!

Squeeeeeee! Gee, this is the reason why I'd rather stay away from bookstores all week from the fear of purchasing the book earlier than everyone else because of some mistake that they're not supposed to be out yet. I had a dream about it some time ago, which triggered such thoughts.

Wow, although it would be really cool to recieve my book early, and very awful to have it taken away, I understand what the boys stepfather is saying about the experience of waiting to read it all together.
