| | |  18 year old Tom Riddle cast in Half-Blood Prince
Young British actor Michael Berendt has been cast as 18 year old Tom Riddle in Half-Blood Prince; he is also listed as playing an Inferius in the movie. Note that Michael is the third actor to play Tom in the sixth film; Hero Tiffin plays an 11 year old Tom, while Frank Dillane plays the young Dark Lord at the age of 16.

We are currently unaware of which scenes Michael will be a participant in, and will update when we get information on the casting.

No; David Yates said Christian Coulson (who played Tom in the second movie) was too old to play a 16 year-old - especially since Christian's about to turn 30 very soon - so they opted to recast the role, which Frank Dillane got.

He would of been better ! They cannot use that actor, Christian Coulson, because he is too old for the role right now. He is over 30. This new guy will be fine if they dye his hair dark because Tom Riddle, as you recall, was dark haired and pale skinned and attractive.
