CBBC Newsround recently posted an article covering the sale of costumes. We reported on it previously, mentioning that Gary Oldman's gray coat from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was expected to sell at around £3,000 ... However, despite predictions, the coat pulled in a whopping £15,600 at the auction! You can read more about the coat and other costumes sold here.
Also, as a note from the Gary Oldman fan club - Gary's birthday is coming up, and to celebrate it, we've started a project to collect birthday presents themed around the 54-something movies he's acted in. Wow, I don't know how that coverts into U.S. dollars but I'm sure it's a bit of money. If I had that kind of cash I would have bought it myself, as I'm sure many of you SS members would have. then I would wear it and take a pic and post it on SS for all my peeps to enjoy as well!
