| | | 11 million copies of HBP sold in the US Scholastic have announced today that 11 million copies of the US edition of ' Half-Blood Prince' have been sold in the 9 weeks since the book release. Quote:
"We are thrilled that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince not only continues to break publishing records in terms of sales, but more importantly has received phenomenal reviews. It is clearly a modern classic," said Lisa Holton, President, Scholastic Children's Trade Books.
The previous five books have also made their way back onto national bestseller lists. The series occupies six out of 10 positions on the Barnes & Noble, Borders and Bookscan bestseller lists. |

That's all the copies they had initially printed and then some, no? Wow. *crossing fingers hoping some jealous author says something stupid* What? I didn't say anyone's name. Specifically...but I am thinking of someone...starts with a D rhymes with pass...no that's not his name. I'm not surprised though. w00t. HP rules. Eleven million...wow...that's a lot of books.

Wow! 11 Million in the US alone. That's awesome! And of course selling that many more than previous books makes sense that the others would be back on lists... people would have to read the others to understand HBP. |

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |
