The BBC report today that Amazon.com, the online retailer, have received more than 1 million pre-orders for ' Half-Blood Prince'. Quote:
At this rate, pre-orders should top the 1.3 million pre-orders received for the previous Harry Potter book in 2003.
"Amazon customers are clearly incredibly excited about the sixth Harry Potter book," said Kes Nielsen, senior vendor relations manager at Amazon.co.uk.

Is that just the regular edition ones included, or that does that involve include the deluxe version, because that's the one i preordered, that and the audio cd, even though i'm going to the midnight thing.
PS If you order through www.amazon.com, then you no matter what get it July 16th, i got it that morning last time, at like 7am, because if it comes July 17th or later, you get it free!

Since I'm a nice person and all, I ordered it from a local bookstore. ^^
Poor people at Amazon, 1 million is quite a feat to handle.
I eagerly awat, with just another 17 days to go!
It's going to be fun to see exactly how many it sells on the opening day. *is thankful she isnt a count-statistic-person*

i preordered mine in december (yeah, i know) but im not even gonna be here...im gonna be on a 5-week trip through ym school..maybe the whole gorup will just pool together and share a copy and then ditch it at someone's host family cuz that's a lot of weight to carry back with you. lol
oh and i ordered mine from amazon because they promised it would get there the 16th and i checked and it's a weekday..last time w didn't get ours because it came out on a saturday and our post office is closed on saturdays...  | |
