| | | 1.4 million HBP pre-orders The Daily Mirror reports that Amazon have received over 1.4 million pre-orders for ' Half-Blood Prince'. This makes it Amazon's best ever seller.
The previous best new product release had been book five of the Harry Potter series, more than 1.3 million copies of which were ordered before its release in June 2003.

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

Yep, that's an amazing number of preorders. Goodness- let's hope that many of our publishers uses recycled paper. Scholastic not using recycled paper for this installment just ticks me off. |

| I am proud to be one of those 1.4 million.
The status of my book is: Quote:
Delivery estimate: Jul 19, 2005
Unfortunately, I'll be getting mine later because of the free shipping thing. I only found out after I pre-ordered mine that free shpping wouldn't guarantee a July 16th delivery. So I have to wait a few more days. Hopefully amazon.com won't change the above date on me and send it later. I want to read HBP sooooo badly.
