The worst part was probably the potion part too!! It was just such a horrific imagery that flooded into my mind!!! And the fact that harry had to keep assuring him that it was the stuff that was going to make him feel better,,,,,,it would have been horrible for harry to even experience!!! i thanked the lord when it was over!!

I fond thw potion scene kind of simeler a well to SNape killing DD but that is just my take on it.. but it find it hard to read with Harry focing him to drink something that may well have helped kill him...
I also found the fact that harry got over sirius very quickly disturbing that may come back to haunt him.

I was really disturbed by the potion scene as well. I wouldn't have been able to keep forcing the potion down his throat once I saw how much pain he was in. Harry really had a lot of courage and resolve to keep doing that - while the best wizard alive was begging like a child for him to stop.

I'd have to say the potions part. It was really awkward and wrong picturing Harry forcing the potion down his throat and Dumbledore spazzing. Plus picturing the Inferi [or how ever its spelled] all over Harry with their dead limbs. Ew.

The most disturbing scene for me was when Harry used that spell against Malfoy. That was a bit creepy...

The most disturbing part I wold say is when Harry and Dumbledore were on that little island place where Voldemort was when he was young and Dumbledore has to drink those many cups of liquid, and he was pleading for Harry to tell him to stop, but Harry knew he had to continue!

For me, the most disturbing part was when Dumbledore goes to the orphanage to offer Tom Riddle a place at Hogwarts. He's an 11 year old sociopath. It's just really disturbing the way he has no respect for Dumbledore and already knows how to manipulate adults. And God only knows what he did to those kids in the cave. It's creepier not knowing exactly what he did..."they were never quite right afterward."

| I also thought the part in the cave with the potion was really hard to read because it showed Dumbledore more...human than we usually see him I suppose. He was vunerable in that scene and it was kinda scary because well...he's Dumbledore and he was always so all knowing and powerful before that. |

Ya the potion scene was VERY disturbing; how Dumbledore was begging him to stop drinking the potion...
I also hated the Harry/Ginny breakup it was a very bad breakup and how she told him that she never got over him and how he said ''I care, how do you think id feel if this was ur funeral and it was my fault" That was so touching.
Overall the four last chapters were very sad i couldnt stop crying in them.

The most bothering scene would have to be when Dumbledore drunk the potion. Dumbledore and McGonagall is like my favorite characters and I was picturing him suffer and that is when the tears was rolling. At that point I was starting to like Harry and trult understand why so many other people admired him. He is a hero and Hary does under play some stuff he does. But, I am fine and I don't worry about it because I have my own twisted thoughts!

The most disturbing prt for me in HBP would have to have been when Harry and DD went to the cave. Being in a cave with a bunch corpses(I could really imagine those corpses as I read) and then reading DD's reaction when drinking the potion....did I miss something but how did DD know he was going to not want to drink the potion and would be needing Harrys help to gulp it down...

the entire cave chapter - right from the payment of blood to the horrible Inferi and Dumbledore's pleading with Harry. i think all chapters after this one were pretty disturbing. but i dont get why dumbledore had to drink the potion, couldn't he have just scooped it up and thrown it on the island..that way he could've emptied the potion and not gotten weak..

Hogwarts RPG Name: Fiona Renée Oliveraux | The funeral scene, by far. The potion scene was unnerving and sad, but the funeral scene dashed my hopes of Dumbledore not really being gone. Plus, Umbridge was there, and so not only did I feel horribly sad, but also really angry. How could she sit there and pretend to be sad? It made me infuriated!
Umbridge is the character I hate the most, even more the Lucius and Voldemort.

I can only conclude that this potion is supposed to be drunk."
They tried. They couldn't touch the potion with anything other than the magical goblet. And pouring it out only resulted in the basin refilling itself.
I agree; this is the most disturbing scene, seeing the most powerful wizard in the world pleading like a child.

I agree with the Potion drinking and Lavender/Ron relationship ... I mean, Ron loves Hermione, and then he was with that *cow*. Disgusting, really! Besides, they didn´t even have anything to talk about, exept their so-called relationship.
And I still cannot see why Dumbledore had to drink that Potion. It was a bit unrealistic (and don´t tell me how realistic it is to fly with brooms and have people come out of books, lol!)
But what disturbed me even more was probably the end of chapter 2 ... Snape making the Unbreakable Vow. I litterary wriggled on the lawn I was sitting on. Then I called more friends to the park, and went to a karaoke bar with them Couldn´t continue right away, but couldn´t help reading some of chapter 3 as I was waiting for them.

I agree that the cave scene was very difficult to read, Harry must really worship the ground dumbledore walks on to be able to do that. Only if you were absolutly detemined not to let down someone would you put them through that!
I must say that I also found the bit on the Hogwarts Express where Malfoy is lying with his head on Pansy Parkinson's lap pretty disturbing - what a horrible mental image!!!!
