| At first, I was annoyed with his whole "If-you-dont-bring-him-up-I'll-just-pretend-like-it-doesn't-hurt" attitude with Sirius, but then a friend pointed out that I took the same attitude with.. when my sister passed. Pretending that it didn't happen, which is why I think it bothered me so much because I know if he'd stop trying to ignore it and just.. stop hiding from it, or taking it in stride or whatever it is he's doing, he'd feel so much better. I feel like he's had so much pain already he doesn't need anymore and he's making it so much worse for himself.
Also, his OCD with Malfoy worried me a little.. |

I think he had a better attitude than he did at the end of OOTP by far.
He seemed to have matured more atleast. He actually noticed Ginny for what kind of person she was rather than just knowing her as Ron's sister.
I also loved the way he stuck up for my DumbleMan. Also how much more respect Harry had for Dumbledore when he spoke to him. |

| To continue with my last post...
Harry is much better behaved, he is even ambarrased at how he acted in OotP!
He semms over the whole "girl thing" and can now relax in the presence of a female.
And he's finally doing his OWN homework! YAY! |

| What I didn't like: His obsession with Malfoy, even though he was up to no good, but it made Harry reckless and act rashly; he should have taken time to plan his actions
Not focusing on what DD told him to ie: getting Slughorn's memory and not thinking it was important, but he did feel remorseful about that
What I did like: His confidence, not caring what others think and I was impressed by all the magic he was throwing around! Whenever they've been in class all through the books, it's always, "...the only one who had managed (whatever they were supposed to be learning) was Hermione..." so I keep thinking subconciously that no one's really good at magic except for Hermione but in this book, he's so nonchalant about tossing spells around; it's like he's so good he doesn't even have to think about it. |

| I think that Sirius death made him a bit mature and more self confident, but sorry who is to blame in Ootp; Voldermort was back and he was having all those dreams and his scar was killing him and he didnt understand anything about anything (lol). If it was me, i would have surely cracked like Harry in Ootp. |

| i thought harry was mature in this book but what i liked more was how funny he was. i couldnt come up with those comebacks...technically JK did tho but so what!! i really like the part where he gets slughorns memory. that was hilarious and its cool how dumbledore trusted him so much. i think harry has a much better additude and that he controled himself great. hes had alot more experience w/ how to act throughout the series. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Adz Sixth | he is growing up and becoming much more mature. he has never had the childhood the others around him have enjoyed, and will never get to. his life could well be ruined by this, yet he remains strong and loyal. for this he deserves worship, yet that is the last thing he wants.
i hope that made sense |

| I liked Harry a lot in this book. I think he only said one sentence in full caps. I loved his talk with the Minister. I thought that we were going to have to read about how depressed and angry he was again -- I was very happy we didn't. |

| Harry's a lot nicer in this book than the previous one.
I thought he'd be more stubborn actually.
What really caught my attention's his maturity.
He matured a lot... |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Vicky Feynman Third | I compelitely dissagree.
Harry's definately the nice brave Gryffindor he always was...
I think he's became very rude arrogant and lost this 'I'm not a star people, leave me alone' style which we all liked. He really thinks he's someone he's not...and I actually hated him at this talk with Rufus.
You all saw how he treated Malfoy. He kept teasing him while he was doing nothing. It seems like Draco and Harry swiched places in the 5th book...
It's such a shame...I liked Harry |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Sean Lemon Second Year | I didn't like harry much this book either. He was arrogant and obsessive... he couldn't give Malfoy or Snape a rest.. (so what if he was right) it seems to me like he is just like father was made out to be... |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Professor Zaria Dainsie | That's because he strives to do the right thing, so when he thought Draco was up to something, of course he was going to try to find out what that is. He goes by his instincts, which as you say were right.
I don't think he was in any way arrogant, quite the opposite actually. He has more confidence in himself; that much was plain, but he didn't go around saying it, or showing it, or trying to prove it, which is what arrogance is.
He really went the other way. He didn't show off as much, he was much more humble, and that scene on the train with Neville and Luna shows how much he has changed.
If you remember in the 5th book, Cho walks in to find him sitting with them, and he wishes he was with someone else. Now in the same situation he defends them. He's learnt not to judge people by outward appearances, but by who they are. He knows who Draco is, so he reacts accordingly.
And as for James, that is just how Snape portrays him. Lupin did agree that when he was Harry’s age he was a bit arrogant, but he came from a pure blood and noble background. All of them seem to have at least a slight arrogance about that. But he said once he grew up a bit he was very different, and a honourable man. Plus there are just some people that you will never get along with… I’m sure we have all experienced that.
He was much more mature and contained in his emotions and actions, and thought before he acted and spoke, which he has never done before. The book shows that he has grown up a lot. |

| Everyone was taken aback by Harry's temper in Book 5, and I always said to give the guy a break...then I read HBP and I just realized how annoying he was in OotP! But yeah, Harry's matured so MUCH in HBP its unbelievable. I love the way JKR ages Harry. I guess Harry better get a grip of himself first, get a bit wiser before he could continue and progress towards defeating Voldemort. Well, he better be mature and wise--Dumbledore's no longer there to guide him. |

| Harry's attitude.
He is determined. He is seeking revenge. He is motivated. He can feel.
Harry is determined to kill Voldemort and take down as many Death Eaters as he can along the way. Everything in his life has led him up to this. He hates them and everything that they stand for. He hates everything about Voldemort. He hates everything about the Death Eaters. He is seeking revenge. Voldemort and his Death Eaters have now killed James Potter, Lily Potter, Sirius Black, and Dumbledore. Four of the most important people in Harry's life. Not only that, but they are killing the family of his classmates and turning people against each other. Harry is seeking revenge for everyone who has died at the hand of a Death Eater or Voldemort. He is seeking revenge for all those lives lost because he has experienced these kinds of losses first hand multiple times. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eunice Murray Fifth | I think that indeed, he did get more mature in this book as he should. You can see that Dumbledore is being a big role model in his life by how Harry acts and speaks, especially when he tries to speak pleseantly wih Scrimgeour the firs time he meets him. |

| I liked Harry's attitude in that book. Different and better than book 5 which I felt that he was still child but in book 6, Harry became a man. He could hold his anger more better than book 5. ( At least he hasn't destroyed DD's office ) I also liked Harry more when he was talking with the minister. Really proved that he is a man. |

| Yeah I liked Harry better in this book. He wasn't as rash, still curious beyond belief, but he thought things through more. He was a bit too panicky in OotP but yeah he's settled down and I love it. |
