Also, what was with Ginny taking Harry to the Room of Requirement and him closing his eyes. He's meant to take it there himself and see the thing with the crown on it so that he remembers in DH. I'm wondering now how they are going to sort that out in the final film. ^^So true. I wonder how they're going to fit that in. Because wasn't that how he thought of going to look for it in the first place? Cause he remembered he saw it up there last year? Hmm...
Ginny is by far my favorite character, but this movie didn't do her justice. It did make her seem some what "creepy" and it didn't fit her well.

hahahaha! the movie made it cringey.
I hate the line "open up you" and "close your eyes, that way you wouldn't be tempted"(something like that).
It just didn't really suit her :\

Ginny's character would be very different if just a few things had been threaded into the films without undue additional length to the movies.

I agree with you all-- I hated how they portrayed H/G in the movies. I mean obviously the first two-three movies they didn't know but Rowling should have alerted the script writer/director to H/G's relationship in the books.
H/G is just so much more better in the books. In the movie, I totally ship H/Hr over H/G and I'm a sworn H/G, R/H in actual book canon

Shoelace.
Whole Ginny concept in that movie was just weird, weird and WEIRD.
Not that Bonnie helped really, I don't like her as an actor..

Not that Bonnie helped really, I don't like her as an actor.. I don't like Ginny at all in the movies but I don't think that it is all Bonnie's fault. I firmly believe that the script and directing plays a much bigger part in this especially since she was a child when she got the role. Not an really a great reason but there is so much an actor can do with his character and lines...

I don't think her character in the movies was bad. Sure, it wasn't like in the book, and some of her lines were... off, but I still think she was portrayed pretty well.
Now, the hate shall begin...

I think the main reason H/G doesn't work in the films is purely a lack of chemistry between Dan and Bonnie which the film makers couldn't really help having cast them when they were kids. It's also why people start to ship H/Hr in the films, Emma and Dan have loads of chemistry! But yeah some of Ginny's lines were weird, Ron saved the mince pie scene.

Bonnie is a great actor and all, but she was right for the part of Ginny, the first few movies were fine, but when Bonnie matured, she lost her..Ginniness. Also, Harry's and Ginny's relationship differed so much in the books and the films, to definitely preferred the books!
