The title says it all. Each person will add one sentence to the story everytime they post (please read what has been going on so you know what you will want to put in and the story won't go off in the distance.) There aren't any limits or anything on how many times you can post a new sentence. Just make sure there is somebody else posting in-between your sentences. I am sure this will be a lot of fun. Here we go!

It was a dark and stormy day down by the lake where Hagrid could be seen sitting on a giant rock.

He was contemplating the events of the other day, and how he was sure he'd gotten himself into another sticky situation.

He suddenly stood up and began to pace back and forwards when he heard a voice behind him.

The voice seemed to be calling his name...moaning, almost...or was it just the wind?

Hagrid whirled around but he could see no one.

"HAGRID!" a voice shouted again, clearly impatient by now.

Hagrid jumped, and turned to find himself face-to-face with none other than Severus Snape.

"Snape? Wot are you doing out here?" Hagrid squinted, blinking at the man.

" Looking for you" Snape replied, his voice cold and icy.

Hagrid grunted in reply, "Wot fer?"

Hagrid looked suprised, Snape never wanted Hagrid

Severus sighed deeply and replied, "I have an issue in the dungeons which requires your immediate attention."

Hagrid placed his hand on his enormous chin, "Wha' you needin' me fur?"

Severus rolled his eyes and replied snidely, "There seems to be some sort of ridiculously large spider in the corner of my storage room...."

At mention of the creature Hagrid nodded his head and turned toward the castle to follow Snape.

Snape led the way to his dungeon office, opening the door silently and pointing up towards the far right corner, where the wall met the ceiling.

Hagrid entered the room pushing pass Snape and when he looked over to where Snape pointed nothing appeared to be there, "Uh-- Professor ya feelin' a'right?"

"You oaf - it's right THERE!" Snape seethed, pointing again to the same corner.

Hagrid shifted to the right allowing Snape to see past him, "See Professor- nothin'. Could've gotten out when ya came to fetch me. I'll have a look 'round the castle."

Snape blinked, feeling suddenly confused....the spider-creature had been there one second ago! "Fine, Hagrid, check the classroom - I have feeling this is a student prank."

Hagrid replied, "Should I check all the classrooms?" as his mood was a bit off today.

Snape glared at the groundskeeper, clearly irratated, and spoke in a sharp tone: "No, just check my rooms - obviously this prank is intended for me and my fear of arachnids..."

Hagrid laughed, "Fear of arachnids, the poor things are harmless".

Snape tried to ignore Hagrid as he studiously searched for hiding spiders, but he couldn't resist snarling, "If I want your opinion I'll give it to you!"

"Haha! Right yeh are, Snape, but I still say there's none of 'em here." Hagrid replied, still smiling.
