Hi. =) I'm Hollie, and this is my 2nd FF on SS (I know it's not much but yeaa).
Ok, So I've had this idea in my head for weeks now, seen as though I'm studying Romeo and Juliet for my english GCSE coursework, I thought, why not?
I'm not a shipper of D/G, but it's a ship that is so related to Romeo and Juliet, I just HAD to write this story, But some things will be a bit different.
Before I start, I want to state some things:
. Instead of a ball at Ginny's house (Which would be difficult) I've instead changed it to Sirius' house, in this FF his house (Not his mother's) is big enough for a ball.
. I've used Ron as the aggresive Tybalt.
. There is no marriage, It is only them speaking about it.
. I've made up my own Benvolio, I've named him Ben xD
. This all happens in a matter of five days, just like the play.
. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you might need to read Romeo and Juliet first, it doesn't take long, OR/AND watch the film (Leanardo Dicaprio *Drools*)
BTW I do not own Harry Potter, Or the storyline of Romeo + Juliet. But I do own this FF =)
Now I have finished my droning, we can start:

Two households, both alike in dignity
(In fair Verona, where we lay our scene),
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life,
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Doth with their death bury their parents' strife.

And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, naught could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage—
The which, if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.


It was a beautiful day in Diagon Alley. The sun was shining, the street was quiet, only a few people starting to shop for the next year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle were lounging on a bench on the main street, laughing and joking about.
"Hey, they can fight us all they want. Stupid mudbloods and halfbloods, traitor's, we will always win!" Crabbe cried in proudness.
"But there is a possibility they could win, just one .. tiny fight" Goyle reasoned, trying to think of a way where the Light side would be able to win.
"Nope!. I get angry easily, I'm like a professional with my wand"
"We are outside of school, we can't use magic"
Crabbe showed Goyle the inside of his jacket, the inside pockets were full of Crabbe's inventions. They were Zonko's products, but Crabbe had adjusted the bombs and fireworks to make them harmful.
"I like your style" Goyle smirked.

Crabbe's face lit up as he saw what he wanted to see. Two teenage boys, one with scruffy black hair and glasses, walking out of The Leaky Cauldron.
It was Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom, friend's of the Weasley's.
"Now's our chance to try 'em out" Crabbe Whispered to Goyle, a sly smile on his face. Goyle started to worry, knowing that this would turn into a disaster.
Crabbe watched the two as they walked past them. As if it was a casual thing to do, Crabbe swore at Harry and Neville with his middle finger. Harry stopped in his steps and started walking forward, towards Crabbe and Goyle.
"Did you put your middle finger up?" He spat. Neville at his side looking worried also.
"I have my middle finger up"
"But have you put your middle finger up at us?"
Crabbe turned to face Goyle, who was at his side. They started mumbling quietly, so quietly that Harry could not hear.
"Are you trying to start a fight?" Goyle asked Harry.
"Me? No" He answered calmly.
Crabbe sniggered and walked forward towards Harry.
"If you want to start a fight, I will fight. We are as just as good at fighting as you are"
"But you are not better than us"
Just as the blood in Crabbe and Harry was stirring, Ben, a friend of Crabbe and Goyle and cousin to Draco Malfoy, walked around the corner to find that a fight was about to begin. He began to run as he pulled Crabbe away from Harry, back to Goyle was standing.
Goyle shook out of Ben's grip and chucked a Zonko bomb at Harry and Neville. The fight had begun. Harry and Neville also had harmful things made by the Weasley twins.
"STOP! The minister will hear about this! He will expell you from Hogwarts and maybe even take you to Azkaban if he can! He said .. NO MORE FIGHTS!" Ben yelled at both sides, but everyone ignored him.
While the rest carried on fighting, Ben froze. Ron Weasley, son of the Weasley's and all around bad boy, slowly walked out of the Leaky Cauldron. He sneered at Ben and took out of his pockets some harmful substances made by his brothers. Ben quickly grabbed some of Crabbe's bombs to protect himself.
"Please, Weasley. I'm trying to keep the peace"
"Peace? You have weapons to cause damage and you talk about peace? I hate the word. especially when you are around DISTURBING IT!" Ron's voice grew louder as his blood boiled inside him. Finally, they both chucked bombs and shot fireworks at each other. They joined the fight between light and dark.
Shoppers and other teens grabbed sticks and tried to stop the fight, they also did not want the minister to arrive...but it was too late.
The Minister apparated from the Ministry. He stood before the fight and watched with anger on his mind.
"STOOOOOPP! DROP YOUR WEAPONS!"
Both sides did as they were told, as they were shocked to hear the minister's voice. Cornelius Fudge was with atleast 7 other Ministry workers.
"This has happened too many times-" He said, pacing up and down in the area infront of the students.
"-One more time, one more time that's all it is, I will make sure you will be expelled from the school. I feel I should call your parents. But I won't. One more time, then I will try my very best to think of a good punishment for you all!" The minister waved his hands as a signal for them to all leave. Both Light and Dark ran in different directions, leaving a mess of Zonko weapons splattered on the floor.
Fudge looked around him and shook his head. "No more" He said to himself as he apparated away.

this is AWESOME!!!!! i love it when people pay tribute to shakespeare!!! and i love how you wrote the first scene the way it really was written, with the whole middle finger thing... (if memory serves me, they bite their thumbs in the real play) great job so far!

KAAY. Chappie two now =):

Ben, Lucius Malfoy's nephew had arrived at the Malfoy Mansion, just after the fight.
He told Mr Malfoy all about the fight. Both were walking aorund the Courtyard of the large mansion.
"So Ben, who started this fight? Did anyone get hurt?"
"No, just a few cuts and bruises. I don't know who started it, I got there when it had already started, Then Ronald Weasley arrived, ready to fight"
Lucius sighed and muttered "Weasley" under his breath.

Narcissa, Lucius' wife was at his side.
"Where is Draco? I haven't seen him today. I'm glad he wasn't in the fight"
Ben smiled and his aunt and turned to face her.
"I saw him this morning, I don't think he wanted any company. He was by that tree" Ben pointed to it. "He was ... moping about. He ran away when I tried to approach him. I had no problem in leaving him alone"
Lucius shook his head and sighed.
"He's always at the tree, being the grumpy little teenager he is. Sometimes I think he's crying! But I know that Malfoy men don't cry. He stays there most of the day, making everywhere around him so gloomy" He looked up to where Draco's bedroom window was. It was blacked out with thick curtains.
"He locks himself up alone in his bedroom, shuts his windows to keep out daylight"
"Don't all teenagers do that?" Narcissa interrupted.
"Not our Draco, though"
"Do you know why he's acting like this?" Ben asked.
"Nope. He hasn't told me"

Lucius and Narcissa carried on walking up the courtyard, while Ben noticed a dark figure walk towards him, It was Draco.
He was wearing all black, hands in his pockets, bags under his eyes.
"Draco! Has someone died?" Ben joked.
"No" Draco muttered.
"Well then what?" Ben said curiously. "If you want me to, I'll guess"
Draco sighed at the annoyance his cousin was being.
"You asked for something for your birthday, but Uncle didn't give it to you"
"No"
"Your ticked off at someone"
"No"
"You have a crush on someone but they have a boyfriend"
Draco tilted his head up to where Ben's face was. "Close"
"You're inlove?"
"Out of."
"Out of love?"
Draco walked to a near by bench and sat down, his hands still in his pockets.
"I love someone, but they don't love me back"
Ben walked over and sat next to him.
"Who is it?"
"You don't mind me loading all my emotions onto you?"
"Not at all! We are family, we stick together" He said proudly.
Draco bit his lip and looked at Ben.
"Pansy"
Ben looked startled for a moment and tried not to laugh.
"What?"
"Pansy? Are you serious?"
"Yes. Why?" Draco said angrily.
"No offense mate, but can't you do better than that?"
"She's the only pretty girl in Slytherin"
"Pretty?"
"YES. Pretty"
Ben thought this was really odd. But if Draco felt this way, he had to comfort him.
"Forget about her! There's plenty of girls you can have! You don't have to have a girl in Slytherin"
"But what about dad ..."
"Forget what he says! Look, there's this party tonight at Sirius Black's big house"
Draco pulled a face. "Sirius Black's house?! But... he's on the good side .."
"The party is gunna be MASSIVE. We'll blend right in, nobody will notice us, I promise. Plus, they'll be loads of giiiirls" Ben laughed, singing the word 'girls'.
Draco sighed and stood up. "Fine. But I'm blaming you if we get caught"
"Fine." Ben smiled, pleased with himself.

Chappie three. GO:

"Ginny!" Mrs Weasley yelled from the bottom of the stairs. She had a big smile on her face and felt quite proud of her self. She paced around the living room with her hands behind her back.
Finally, Ginny walked down the stairs in a slopish sort of way.
"You rang?" She said sarcastically.
Molly's smile grew bigger. She sat Ginny down on the chair infront of her.
"Dean Thomas. You know him?"
"Yes. He's in the year above me"
Molly sighed, with her smiled still on her face.
"He's going to be at the party, Sirus' party"
Ginny looked at her mother awkwardly.
"So? ..."
"He's a nice boy. What I'm saying Ginny, is that you are nearly 15, and you still don't have a boyfriend. Someone that you'll be with for a long time..."
Ginny knew this was going somewhere, but she didn't know where.
"Until when?"
"Oh I don't know, until maybe ... the rest of your life?"
"Are you telling me to marry Dean Thomas?!"
Molly threw her hands up in laughter and held Ginny's hand.
"Only if you want to. I met your father when I was at a young age"
"But...I don't want to think about marriage, yet" Ginny said in shock.
"You don't have to. Just, meet the boy, you may like him after all that"
"We shall see."
"I already know he likes you, so, what do you say?"
"I'll try to like him, but if I don't, don't push me"
"Oh I won't" Molly smiled.

Suddenly, Fred and George apparated from upstairs, which made Molly jump.
"Oh! Stop that you two!" She yelled at the and pointing her finger. The twins both laughed and handed her a letter.
"Dad sent an owl. The party is starting soon, better get ready"
Molly turned to Ginny. "Go upstairs and dress yourself nicely, you want to make a good impression for Dean"
"Dean Thomas you mean?" George interrupted.
"Never you mind" Molly said, and both Fred, george and Ginny went back upstairs.

Ok guys, I'm gunna be away for a while, since it's christmas and I'm also going on holiday.
BUT, I will give you this chapter, which is longer than the last
Here we goooo:

Sirius Black was proud to be the host of a masquerade ball. The room was decorated well and everyone seemed right for the occasion. Even though most of his guests were wearing masks, he could tell the odd few.
Hermione, for example. Her thick wavy hair tried to be pulled back in a messy bun, but didn't seem to want to stay in the bun.
And of course, all of the Weasley's.
Sirius stood at the top of the large staircase, facing the room.
"Welcome guests! I'm very happy you all arrived. Now, have a good time and don't leave too early" He shouted at the guests, with a grin. The noise rose again and couples started to dance, people were stuffing their faces with food and others just chatted away for the rest of the night.
Meanwhile ....
"Dude, there's loads of people. We're gunna get caught"
"We're wearing masks, just like everybody else...We'll be fine" Blaise Zambini reassured Draco.
"All the blame will be going on you if we do get caught"
"Fine. But we won't" Blaise smirked. Draco, Blaise and Ben were all wearing masks and formal clothes. Draco's hair was easily recognizing, but his mask did it's best to cover alot of it.
They walked inside and the room was covered in gold and red tassels and decorations. The crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves, some even drunk already.
"Why are we here again?" Blaise asked Ben. When Ben and Draco agreed to go to the party, they invited Blaise. He wasn't a Malfoy, but best allies of them. Plus, he always knew how to make a party much more fun.
"Draco need to get over ... you know, the girl with the name beginning with P"
"What? Polly? Penny? Poppy? Pansy?"
At the sound of Pansy's name, Draco turned around and his face dropped.
"I miss her" He droned. Blaise looked at him as if he were the oddest thing he'd ever seen.
"Are you serious?!" Blaise paused for a minute, then burst out laughing.
"You're inlove with Pansy Parkinson!" Blaises cried, his hands warpped around his stomach so he wouldm't die of laughing.
"Sssshh! You'll give us away!" Ben said, covering Blaise's mouth. Once he let go, Blaise put his hand on Draco's shoulder.
"Draco. Mate. No offence, but ... Professor Snape is more good looking than Pansy"
"Shut up! I love her! And there's nothing you an do to stop me loving her" And with that, he wonderd off in the crowd.
"Draco! We are meant to stick together!" Ben called after him.
"Leave him, Him and his ... feelings need to be alone" Blaise said, before starting to laugh again.

Draco stalked through the crowd to try and find a palce to think. He was suprised that hs friends did not find Pansy attractive, he didn't care. The population of guys have narrowed down. I still have a chance He thought to himself, smiling at the thought.
His thinking stopped when a young redhead waalked past him, to go talk to a group of other woman. Draco's mind went blank. He forgot all about Pansy. His eyes fixed on the girl, he moved around the crowd to follow her through the room.
"Wow. She stands out like a light in the dakness of this room. She outshines the rest of the woman like a white dove in the middle of a flock of crows. Ha! Have I loved before? If so, I was wrong. I've never seen beauty until this night" Draco murmmered to himself, so no one else heard.
"That was odd. I don't normally come out with stuff like that" He said, sounding a little puzzled. He ignored it and carried on following the redhead in the mask.
Not so far away, Another redhead, a male this time, was observing.
"I've heard that voice before, he's no friend of ours."
"What's going on Ron? You seem so angry! It's a party! Lighten up a bit!" Arhur Weasley said, while approaching him.
"Dad, I think he's a Malfoy" He pointed to the Blonde masked man, dodging people and disappearing in the crowd.
"Hmmm .. Young Draco?"
"Yeah. What a git. Thinking he could crash the party. I don't think so!" Ron started to walk off to get some Weasley products, but Arthur grabbed him by the shoulder, and pulled him back to where he was standing.
"Just ignore him, he won't do any harm. I've heard that he's not that bad, just his father." Arthur scowled at the thought of Lucius.
"Not that bad? Not that bad?! Dad, He's a Malfoy! Of course he's bad!"
"Ignore him!" Arthur said, turning to look at his son.
"Have fun and, IGNORE HIM" He said, making sure his words were clear enough for Ron.
"He'll pay" Ron mumbled, walking away.

Draco walked up to Ginny Weasley, who was now alone. He grabbed her hand and spun her around and kissed her.
When they parted, she looked up at him in amazement.
"Dean?"
"Uhh..If you like"
Ginny giggled. "I'm guessing not then"
Draco merely tried to smile, and kissed her again.
"It doesn't matter though right?"
"No. I'm glad you're not Dean. To be honest, I don't think he would be able to kiss like this" She smiled, making him smile too.
Hermione noticed Ginny's red hair and prodded her on the shoulder from behind.
"Your mother wants a word"
Ginny sighed and turned back to Draco, she kissed him again, much quicker this time, and went to go look for her mother.
Draco looked at the woman who had told Ginny to leave. Granger He thought to himself. Taking a deep breath, he moved over to her and asked "Who's her mother?"
"Mrs Weasley, that was Ginny Weasley"
"W...W..Weasley??" Draco managed to say. "...Crap"
Ben finally found Draco and grabbed hold of his arm.
"We need to leave, they're getting suspicious"
"I think I'm in more trouble" Draco warned him, and the both set off to find Blaise.

Ginny had been pointing to guys who she thought was the boy who had kissed her.
"What about him?"
"Neville" Hermione sighed, getting tired of this.
"Him?"
"Tonks, Ginny. She's a woman" Hermione said.
"I know! It's the masks! Errrmm ... Him?"
"And that is Ron"
"Eww,"
"Are we done now?"
"NO!. What about him? The guy who's leaving..It's him! The blonde haired guy" Ginny pointed out.
"Oh. I don't know"
"Could you ask?" Ginny pleaded, pouting.
Hermine sighed and tried to catch up with the three masked men, leaving the party.
"Excuse me!" Hermione yelled, to try and get the guy's attention.
"Sory, Granger, I have to leave" He said quickly, and disappearing out the door.
Hermione stood there for a minute. Blonde hair, Granger? It all fit. She quickly ran back over to Ginny to tell her.
"It's Malfoy! That idiot! Trying to crash the party! ... And kiss you! How disgusting!" Hermione said.
"My only love sprung from my only hate! I saw him too early without knowing who he was, and I found out who he was too late! Love is a monster for making me fall in love with my worst enemy."
Hermione stared at Ginny for a minute.
"What was that?"
Ginny shrugged, suprised to say something like that. "I don't know, I guess it's how I really feel" She sighed.
Hermione scoffed and looked around.
"Well, Anyway. We better get going, everyone is starting to leave"
"I think I'ma look around the house" Ginny mumbled.
"Ok, Well see you later" Hermione said. She walked off, leaving Ginny to wonder about the large house.

Romeo and Juliet was always my favorite. Ever since I was a little girl. I love that you have woven the Harry Potter story to coinside with it. Very well written. My only love sprung from my only hate. One of my favorite lines. Please keep writing.
