Welcome to one of my FFs! Instead of all that stuff in the 6th book happening, this is what really happened. *inserts evil laughter here* I have 37 pages of this on MS Word, so if you want to make a suggestion it might not appear until way later in the story. Hehe... I doubt this thread will go inactive (because every time I post, I promise to write something on MS Word), so it's a good thing to get addicted to this FF. XD.

The Interview

A lady sat at a typewriter, furiously pressing the keys and only stopping to look at what to write next from the papers beside the typewriter or to laugh at the article. She was sure it would get published, as her boss had a quick look over her draft and he couldn’t stop laughing and saying it was great. Once it was finished the lady took it out of the typewriter and read it.

The Interview That Might Change Your Life

I recently visited Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to interview some students. I told them each that it was simply a survey for Dumbledore to read and that I did not work for the daily prophet. After some hesitation, they each answered every question I asked.

I interviewed eight students by the names of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley, Gregory Goyle, and Vincent Crabbe.

In the interviews I am in green and they are in blue.

Harry Potter’s Interview

What year and house are you in Harry?

I’m in my 6th year and I’m in Gryffindor.

I see. But I suppose everyone knows that don’t they?

I guess.

And how do you feel, being so famous?

Well, sometimes it’s good, but sometimes it’s kind of annoying.

Really? Why would you say that?

I dunno.

Okay then. Not much of a talker, are you?

*smiles and shakes head*

So do you have a crush on anyone?

I’d rather keep that to myself, thanks.

I told you, no one but myself and Dumbledore will read this.

*sigh* ok then. Ginny Weasley. I also used to have a crush on Hermione Granger, but that’s WAY WAY WAY over now.

I… see. Do you think Ginny has a crush on you too?

I don’t think so.

Oh, well, that’s a shame. So, what’s it like in the trio?

Well, Ron’s a really good friend and Hermione… can be okay when she’s not lecturing us, but I’m not too sure if I really do like her.

And I heard you and Draco aren’t very good friends.

We have our differences.

Yes?

He’s a stuck-up jerk and I hate him. He hates me too. We always get into fights and I reckon he wants to be a death eater. I want to be an auror. Aurors kill death eaters. Simple.

Ah ha. I knew there was more *smiles* Well, that comes to the end of our survey.

And I’m also surprised you’re in Gryffindor. Many people think you should be in Ravenclaw.

Oh, really?

*smiles* so, do you have any crushes?

You said no one except Dumbledore will read this, right?

Yes.

Ok then. I think Ron is so HOTT HOTT HOTT!!! I melt every time I see him and I want to – er… yeah.

Well, er… ok. Do you think he fancies you?

I hope so.

*nods* so, what’s it like in the trio?

Trio? What trio?

You, Ron, and Harry.

Oh. Well, um it’s good.

So don’t you consider it as a trio?

No. I see it as me and Ron, and then Harry hangs out with Ron.

So, you don’t like Harry?

Well, he’s okay I guess. He’s a little bit stuck-up and he always breaks the rules and makes the wrong decisions. I’m really surprised he hasn’t been expelled. It’s probably because he’s so famous. *rolls eyes*

Well, first of all, I’d prefer to be called Ron. And second, I’m in my 6th year and Gryffindor.

*nods* Do you have a crush?

Yeah.

Who is she?

Well, um… I actually don’t know her name.

Ok then… So you have a crush on someone that you don’t even know their name?

Yeah.

Ok… What’s it like in the trio?

Pretty cool. Harry’s a great friend, but it’s such a pity me and Hermione get into lots of fights.

Why is it such a pity?

Coz it is. It’s always a pity when you keep having fights with someone.

Do you think if you might ever fancy her?

*taken aback* Um… I might one day, but probably not.

Slytherin and my 6th year.

Slytherin, eh?

Yes. That’s what I said. Do you need hearing aids or something?

Er… no. Um, do you have any crushes?

Yeah, but I’m not telling you who they are.

Yes, they. I think you do need hearing aids.

Er… no, I don’t. I was just pointing out that you said the plural form.

Ok, so I’ve got two crushes. What does it matter?

*sighs* It doesn’t. Can’t you just tell me one?

No.

Why not?

Coz it’s private. I wouldn’t want Dumbledore to know.

Ok, then. How about you tell me, but I won’t tell Dumbledore.

What’s the point in that?

Look, can’t you just give me her initials?

He’s an idiot and a blood-traitor.

Well, I’d really like to be in it… but I’m not… Harry’s nice and I like him, but he can sometimes be a bit weird with that thing between him and Voldermort. Ron’s nice but I wouldn’t recommend sharing a dorm with him coz he snores REALLY loud. Hermione kinda makes me feel stupid, but I guess she’s nice to me.

Why’d Dumbledore ask that?

I don’t know. I only give the questions, I didn’t make them.

I’m not sure. I suppose that’s what love is – you just don’t know why you love them.

What do you think of Harry?

I dunno. I think I just see him as my brother’s friend, nothing else. *laughs* I used to think he was sooooo hott! *more laughter* but now I kinda think he’s a bit ugly.

What do you think of Ron?

Well, sometimes I think he’s a good brother, but other times I think he’s so annoying.

And Hermione?

A really good friend.

And so that comes to the end of this article. You may have your own opinions of these ‘surveys’, but I think it’s funny how differently we thought life was at Hogwarts, then what it truly is. Funny.

The next morning at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the students sat down in the Great Hall, helping themselves to their choice of breakfast. They were all quite bored, as nothing but classes, homework, and the usual things had been happening lately – except, of course, for the people that got interviewed by Jenny Lewis, even if it was something as small as that. However, no one talked about it, except Crabbe and Goyle, who kept laughing at each other’s jokes.

“I am so bored,” was the only thing anyone ever said out of classes, unless it was a “So am I.” But, on that particular morning, it was different soon after owls started to fly into the hall. Only one owl that flew into the hall didn’t carry the Daily Prophet.

Instead, it was the Quibbler that was carried, but the one girl that subscribed to the Quibbler soon looked onto the person’s Daily Prophet that sat beside her once the person exclaimed, “Oh my gosh! Everyone, look to Page 3 in the Daily Prophet!”

Soon the whole school knew about Jenny’s article. Each person had a different reaction to the article, most of them burst out in laughter, but some were crying, a lot were shocked, some were angry, many were other things.

Harry Potter had many emoticons. At first he was just outraged that the woman did this, but then, as he read the rest of the article, other reactions came. He was angry at Hermione and shouted at her, surprised that Ron didn’t even know the name of his crush, couldn’t stop staring at Draco in shock, and tears slid down Harry’s face as he read Ginny’s interview. He stood up and walked over to her and said, “I… I thought… thought you were the one… but if you think I’m ugly… then maybe you’re… not. Thanks for ruining my life, Ginny.” As Ginny said nothing, Harry walked back to his seat and ran a hand through his messy hair, sighing.

Hermione Granger was also angry at Harry so she too joined in with the shouting, she stared at Ron blankly as she cried, she stared at Malfoy disbelievingly, and she was disgusted at Crabbe and Goyle.

Ron Weasley gazed at Hermione as she and Harry shouted at each other, narrowed his eyes at Neville with a smile, and laughed at Crabbe and Goyle.

Draco Malfoy couldn’t stop sighing as he read Harry’s interview, was angry at Ron soon after Draco had started to read Hermione’s interview, laughed at Ron because he didn’t know his crush’s name, laughed at Neville’s stupidity, stared and frowned at Ginny, and rolled his eyes at the two goons that sat on either side of him.

Neville was simply embarrassed that everyone knew his crush and was shocked at his friends’ secrets.

Ginny was shocked that Harry fancied her and she didn’t get any further than Draco’s interview as she couldn’t stop crying until Harry walked up to her. She was speechless at what he said and once he walked away Ginny just burst into more tears.

It took Crabbe and Goyle a while to realize what was going on because they couldn’t read, but once Draco told them they burst into laughter. And why wouldn’t they? The whole school had heard their jokes!

Some much is going on. Poor Harry. Heremione is shouting also. And Ginny is sad. so much going on I love it.
