Hey everyone! Its Tara and Katie here, back with the sequel to Draco's Dilemma! Hope you all enjoy the story!
Summary:
Tara Felton has seemed very distant from Draco lately. Too distant. Many people try to tell Draco that Tara is running off with other guys, but Draco is too young, naïve and in love to believe anyone. Finally, he decides to take matters in his own hands. Relying in the help from his ex-girlfriend Hermione Donaldson (who is now happily married to Lamark Donaldson), will Draco Malfoy ever fully win Tara back in order to exchange her promise ring for an engagement ring?
Chapter 1
Draco sat back in the leather armchair and looked around the dark, empty room. Once again, Tara was gone. Where? He had no idea. Here lately Tara seemed to be farther and farther away from Draco. Yeah sure, they lived in the same house. They shared the same bed. And throw in a bathroom, a kitchen and a coat closet. But Tara was distant, even when she was right next to Draco…
Sighing, Draco thought back to their seventh year of Hogwarts. Draco had fallen so hard for Tara that he had left Hermione Granger for her. He loved her more than anything. After all, she was the one who had been wearing his promise ring for the past four years. It seemed centuries ago when Draco had given her that ring. She still wore it, and Draco had plans to replace it with an engagement ring, but there was almost a blur around Tara. Many people had told Draco that Tara had been seen with numerous other guys. But Draco, being in love, young, and just plain naïve, didn’t even notice.
“Hey baby,” a voice cooed from behind Draco’s chair.
He turned to see Tara stuffing her coat into the coat closet. She walked into the kitchen and conjured up a cup of coffee. She looked over at Draco to see him staring at her.
“Where have you been?” Draco asked.
“Oh, just out with some friends,” Tara said, sipping the coffee and flipping through today’s Daily Prophet.
Draco wanted to believe her, he really did, but there was something holding him back. He stood up and walked over to Tara, wrapping his arms around her tiny waist.
“You love me, right?” Draco asked, looking down at her.
“Of course I do, baby!” Tara said, smiling up at him.
Draco slid his hands into the two back pockets of Tara’s jeans.
“Really?” Draco questioned.
“Would I be living with you if I didn’t?” Tara said.
She pulled herself from Draco’s grasp and put her empty coffee cup in the sink. She walked past Draco, shaking her head, and down the hall, towards their bedroom. Conjuring up a hair elastic, she pulled her long hair up and out of her face and into a ponytail. She flicked her wand and her clothes changed into a pair of long, soft silk pajamas. She went into the bedroom and slid her feet into some fuzzy slippers.
She expected Draco to follow her in the room, but he didn’t.
“Is there something wrong?” Tara asked, appearing back in the kitchen.
I hope not… Draco thought. “Oh, no, not at all,” Draco stuttered, sounding a bit distracted with his thoughts.
Tara cocked an eyebrow at him but went back into the bedroom. Draco followed behind her, almost in like a zombie. He too changed into his pajamas. Tara walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“I love you,” she said, giving him a small kiss.
“I love you too,” Draco mumbled.
Tara smiled up at him and walked over to the bed. She pulled the covers back and got underneath them and pulled them over her. Draco slid in the bed next to her and Tara soon fell asleep, her back to Draco. He laid there, facing her, wondering what had been going on with her lately. But trying to look on the bright side, he pretended it was nothing and fell into a dreamless sleep.

OK Second post people! This one's about Hermione and Lamark, just to establish their relationship!
After Hogwarts, Hermione and Lamark had bought a small apartment in London, to be close to the Ministry, where Lamark worked in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office. Little did Hermione know.....Lamark had a plan for them.
"Hey Hermione, I'm home." Lamark said as he slammed the door shut.
"Lamark, people are trying to sleep." Hermione scolded gently, but not without a grin on her face. The small diamond on the wedding ring gleamed from the kitchen. She kissed him. "How was work?"
"Pretty good, but I say it was better when Arthur Weasley was there. They're thinking of making me the Head of that Department." He added proudly.
"Lamark, that's wonderful!" Hermione exclaimed. She hugged him. "When?"
"I'm not sure, I overheard LeBay and Martin talking, and they said I'm really coming along for a first year employee." There was a hint of pride in this statement. But he had reason to be. Lamark had become the man who knows all the answers in just a short while.
"Well, this gives us time to celebrate. Wanna go out to eat?"
"Hermione, they haven't given it to me yet. What if they change their minds?"
"Then they do. But it won't make the food any less delicious." Hermione got their coats. "Besides, I can't remember the last time we ate out. You keep saying we've got to save money. For what?"
"I'll tell you later." Lamark said mysteriously, and held the door open for his wife. They left the apartment, the cold, wintry air hitting their faces in an icy blast. But it felt wonderful all the same. They walked, hand in hand, to a little cafe a few blocks down.
They were seated by their favorite window seat. Hermione liked to watch the muggles go by with their shopping bags.
"You know, it's almost Christmas. What do you want?" Hermione asked Lamark after dinner had arrived. Lamark said nothing, but dug into his steak hungrily. "Lamark?"
"Oh.....I don't know yet. Why don't you suprise me?" He said. "By the way, what about you?"
"Why don't you suprise me?" Hermione copied him, a little bit annoyed.
"Maybe I will." Lamark said enigmatically. Hermione felt more confused than ever. What was he playing at?
"Do you want dessert, or should I suprise you?" Hermione asked after dinner.
"Oh yes, dessert is a must. Excuse me dear." Lamark got up and spoke to the waiter. He smiled and nodded. Lamark gave him a small slip of paper. He sat back donw at their table, as if nothing had happened.
"What was that all about?" Hermione questioned him. Lamark shrugged his shoulders.
"I don't know."
"You do to!" Hermione accused. "I hate mind games!"
"Legilimacy won't work Hermione." Lamark wared off her attempts. Hermione crossed her arms and sulked for awhile.
"Dessert, sir." The waiter was back. Hermione raised her eyebrows.
"But we didn't even order yet-" Hermione stopped. There was a piece of paper on her chocolate cake slice. She picked it up. It was a deed. "What is this?"
"Merry Christmas dear." Lamark kissed her cheek.
"But-but-" Hermione stammered. "This isn't for us, is it?"
"Hermione, I promised you that we would buy a house of our own. I know how much you hate that apartment. It's noisy, dirty, and in a bad neighborhood. Our house is clean, new, and closer to the Ministry. Plus, it's bigger than our apartment...just in case."
Hermione got up, her eyes shining. She flung her arms around him.
"This is the best Christmas present ever." She whispered into his ear. "I love you."
"I love you too Hermione."
