This is my second fic on SS. It's in Hermione's Pov all the time just so you know. It's PG 13 for a more mature audience. Also, it's going to be a long fic so I hope you like reading...

Chapter 1

Where the heck is the washroom?

I walked around in search of a stupid bathroom when a small red sign caught my eye. Public Restro-
That's all I could see anyways. A very tall wizard was blocking the rest of the sign. I quickly wove in and out of the people and made my way inside the restroom. Walking all the way in, I noticed something.

Something really, really, embarrassing.

I was in the men’s washroom.

Smart move Hermione. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!

I stared at the ground and made my way out trying to dodge the strange looks I was getting from all the wizards.

'OOF!' I collided hard into someone and fell right on top of them.

'Hey you stupid guy, get off me you queer!' A muffled voice said under me.

'I'm not a guy!' I exclaimed getting up.

'Then why are you- hey! Granger, why are you in the men’s restroom?' I looked up to see someone I hadn't expected at all. Draco Malfoy, with a pleased smirk on his face.

'The sign outside said Public Restrooms!' I snapped.

Boy did he look different. Especially in Muggle clothes. It was a good different though. Wow, he looks hot...

He was wearing a black hooded sweater and baggy dark jeans. I never knew an Anti-Muggle wizard could dress so well. Then again, even in school robes he looked good. Amazingly, he lost the slicked back look and his hair was completely flawless, and his face as well. His silvery grey eyes seemed so cold yet they burned through you at the same time. I was mesmerized.

'Actually, it says Public Restrooms, Men's only. And you're supposed to be smart?' He asked dusting off some imaginary dirt off his sweater.

'What? Feel dirty after bumping into a mudblood?' I asked rolling my eyes.

Malfoy smiled. 'That's right.'

'You are so...' I tried to think of something rude to say.

'Good looking? Charming? I know.' He said with another famous Malfoy smirk.

'Conceited.' I finished. If only he had a better personality, I would so like him.

'Right. Well, what are you doing here anyways?' Malfoy asked rudely.

'I came to watch the Quidditch match, duh.' I replied hotly.

'In the Men's bathroom?' Malfoy said with a laugh.

I scoffed. That so wasn't what he meant when he asked me. 'No. I already told you my mistake. I came to watch the game in the actual stadium.' I told him.

'Mmhmm.' He said sarcastically.

'Uh, can you please finish your conversation outside you two? No one's using the restroom since you’re in here miss.' A deep voice said. I turned suddenly, startled and saw a man in a security uniform tell me.

'Oh right. Sorry.' I left the washroom after one last glance at Malfoy, who might as well have been rolling on the floor laughing.

I’m never going live this down…

I made my way back to Harry and Ron who were waiting for me in the front of the building.

‘Hermione? What’s wrong you look really upset.’ Harry asked putting his arm around me.

I scowled and then sighed. ‘Well, I just made a complete fool of myself in front of Malfoy.’

‘Malfoy? Where was this?’ Ron asked.

‘The mens restroom.’ I said rolling my eyes.

‘The mens- What were you doing in there?’ Harry asked.

I explained what happened and by the end Ron was laughing loudly.

‘Ron! It’s not funny!’

CRACK!

We all apparated back to the Burrow. I was so grateful to use magic outside of Hogwarts finally!

‘So how was the match guys? I wish I could have gone, it’s really not fair! I’m just one year younger, and I’ll be able to apparate next year!’ Ginny babbled.

‘It was stupid.’ Ron grunted. He was upset since his team lost.

We went to our separate rooms and got ready to sleep.

‘Tomorrow we’re going to Diagon Alley by the way.’ Ginny said to me right before she turned out the light.

~The next Morning~

‘Wake up Ginny, Hermione, we’re leaving soon.’ Mrs Weasly’s voice softly said and I heard the door snap shut.

I groaned but got out of the warm bed I used every time I stayed at the Burrow.

‘Let’s go wake up the guys.’ Ginny said after we were dressed.

We walked into their dark, really messy room. Ginny went to wake up Ron and we walked over to Harry's bed.

Aw, he looks so cute when he's sleeping.

I jumped on his bed and pulled off the blankets, then blushed to see he was topless.

‘Hermione!’ He groaned and tried to pull the blankets back.

‘Get up Harry. Nice abs by the way.’ I said winking at him.

He looked really good this summer, his hair was so perfect and his eyes, those beautiful blue eyes were just piercing and beautiful. And he wore contact lenses instead of his glasses too.

Harry laughed at my comment and then got up.

I noticed Ginny eyeing him as he put on a t-shirt. Don’t tell me she still likes him! After all, Harry asked me out and so I was his girlfriend.

She better keep her hands off him.

ooooh, it's not very long yet, but it seems like she's gonna have this dilemma where she chooses between Draco and Harry....and judging from that last sentence, maybe while she's leaning more towards Draco, Ginny and Harry'll do something.... PAMS!!!!

We bought our things from Diagon Alley, I walked around with Harry, while Ron and Ginny went to buy some new robes, and we ended up inside the broom shop.

‘Hey look, what’s over there?’ Harry asked pointing towards a section of the room where a lot of people were crowded around.

‘Oh, I think it’s the new Firebolt 100!’ I exclaimed. I never liked Quidditch that much, but staying in the Burrow for a few weeks had made me obsessed completely with the sport.

‘Let’s go see!’ Harry pulled my hand and we walked over to the area.

Harry somehow got lost in the crowd and was probably at the front looking at the broom. I tiptoed in search of him but couldn’t see him, or the broom.

‘Ughh, forget this.’ I mumbled and turned around to leave.

While doing so, I bumped into someone.

‘Sorry,’ I mumbled and looked up. Those cold silver, oddly familiar eyes met my glance.

‘OW. Granger. Bumping into me again? You must really want me or something. But I don’t do mudbloods.’ Draco’s voice rang quietly in my ear.

I was practically nose to nose with him. ‘Oh you’re kidding…’ I groaned.

Draco chuckled. ‘Get out of my way.’

I rolled my eyes and brushed him hard causing him to stumble slightly. With that, I walked out of the store.

‘What a stupid ahole.’ I said to myself kicking stones on the side of the busy street.

‘Mione! There you are!’ Harry’s voice called from behind me.

I turned around and Harry was walking out of the store. Inside the glass window, I could make out Malfoy’s dark figure which made his blond hair stand out. He was obviously pushing people so he could get a better view of the new broom. I never even got to see the broom!

‘Harry, I lost you in there.’ I said as he put his arm around me.

‘Yeah, well did you see the Firebolt?’

‘Nope, didn’t get to.’ I replied.

‘Oh it’s awesome! I wish I had it, but I think my regular Firebolt will do.’ He said with a laugh.

I smiled up at him and we went to meet the Weasly family at an ice cream shoppe near by.

The day was fun and tomorrow school would begin. I kissed Harry goodnight and went to bed.

I yawned and opened my eyes. The sun seemed extremely bright this morning.

‘Morning.’ I said to Ginny who was already awake, searching through her luggage.

‘Got everything packed away?’ She asked.

‘Yep.’ I changed quickly and did my hair as best as I could with my Muggle things.

Looking in the mirror, I would say I didn’t look too bad this year. My hair was finally looking better than the past years, but still, let’s just say I didn’t have a glamorous cascade of golden-brown curls caressing my shoulders. My hair was just plain light brown, a bit wavy and long. I didn’t have freckles this year though, I tanned nicely. And I was blemish-free!

Clear skin, not so bushy hair, I was coming off to a good start this year.

‘Done admiring yourself yet?’ Ginny asked from the doorway.

‘Oh right.’ I grinned and then grabbed my bags and headed downstairs to meet the guys.

We arrived at the station by Mr. Weasly’s magically enhanced new car. Mrs Weasly, Bill, Fred, George and a few other members of the Order saw us off.

‘Take care Hermione.’ Mrs Weasly said hugging me. ‘Watch out for Ron and the rest alright luv?’

I nodded and thanked her for letting me stay, and said goodbye to the others, then went onto the Express.

‘I think we’re a bit early this year. There are actually a few empty compartments.’ Harry said entering one. He took my bags for me and put them away.

The train hadn’t moved yet, but quickly it filled with students.

‘Excuse me? Do you mind if I sit in here?’ A very pretty girl with straight blonde hair and ocean blue eyes asked.

‘Oh go ahead.’ I said and she smiled at me.

‘I’m Hermione, that’s Ron, Ginny, and Harry.’ I explained. ‘Are you starting your sixth year as well?’

‘Yeah.’

‘So you’ll be sorted privately I assume.’ Ginny said.

Carly nodded. ‘I hope so. So are you all in the same house?’

‘Yeah, Gryffindor. I hope you don’t end up in Slytherin though.’ Ron said with a frown.

‘Be glad if you do.’ A cold voice rang through the compartment.

‘Then you won’t end up being friends with scum like these.’ Malfoy said while Crabbe and Goyle guffawed from behind him, wrappers crackling as Crabbe shoved a Chocolate Frog in his mouth and Goyle wolfed down a Cauldron Cake.

Carly raised an eyebrow at him.

‘I’m Draco, Draco Malfoy. This is Crabbe and Goyle.’ He added as an after thought.

I rolled my eyes at him. ‘Don’t mind them, they just love tormenting us every year.’

‘Nice of you to notice Granger.’ Malfoy said with a smirk.

Carly looked a bit confused.

‘Well, just watch your step. You don’t want to make friends with Potter and the Weasels. Oh and of course, the know-it-all mudblood.’

I kept my mouth shut from jinxing him as the three walked out.

‘Ughh! Every year!’ Ginny exclaimed.

‘I know. Those three and the rest of Slytherin enjoy making us Gryffindors mad at every single chance they get.’ Harry explained.

‘Oh, why was he calling you a mudblood?’ Carly asked.

‘It means non-pure blooded. The Slytherin students are all pure blood wizards and witches. They hate everyone else.’ Ron told her.

We arrived on the Hogwarts grounds wet and cold. It was already dark outside and pouring rain splattered all over everyone.

Harry tried to cover me as well as he could, hugging me close to him. What a sweetie. Clumsy me, staring up into Harry’s beautiful eyes, I couldn’t see where I was going.

‘OUCH!’ Draco turned around and glared at me.

‘Whoops!’ I said.

‘You clumsy idiot! Stop hurting me!’ He yelled. I had stepped on his foot really hard apparently, and he was now hopping around, causing water to splash all
over me!

‘Malfoy!! Stop that!’ I yelled and let go of Harry and began kicking water at him.

‘You stop it!’ He yelled back kicking the water at me.

We were both fuming and kicking as much water onto one another.
This b*stard doesn’t give up does he?

‘Both of you in my office please.’ We stopped and an angry Professor Snape met our eyes.

HAHA water fight! so flirtacious...can't believe harry didn't try to get inbetween them, such a nice non-jealous boyfriend...

His office was dark, clammy and cold as usual. Not that I had been in his office often. But still, I hated every inch of it. I hated all the potions and jars filled with things I didn’t want to know of.

‘Stupid Granger.’ Malfoy whispered.

Professor Snape had told us to wait in his office while he supervised the rest of the students.

‘I’m stupid? You didn’t have to splash all that water on me!’ I yelled.

‘Oh so it’s my fault is it?’ He asked pulling off a soaked dark coat.

‘Yes it is!’ I said huffily. ‘I could have been getting dry in the Great Hall right now.’

‘Me too, but I’m not complaining am I?’ He said wringing out the coat so water poured all over onto the cold stone ground.

‘You shouldn’t do that Malfoy, Professor Snape will notice it.’ I told him coldly.

‘Will he really think it’s me?’ Draco asked, a malicious grin playing on his lips.

‘You wouldn’t!’ I yelled.

‘Well, I am his favourite. Let’s wait and see.’ Malfoy replied and turned around.
I gave an angry groan and turned my back to his back.

Snape came in during the sorting I think, and started lecturing us. ‘You were made prefects last year were you not?’ He asked in his most boring, yet lethal voice.

‘Yes Professor.’ Malfoy and I chorused.

‘I don’t think it was a wise decision, do you? I mean, prefects surely wouldn’t be..what was it? Oh yes, splashing and kicking water at each other?’ He said looking at both of us.

‘No Professor.’ We said again.

‘Well, I expect your behaviour to improve this year Granger, you as well Draco. After all, it’s your sixth year; wouldn’t you like a shot at Head Boy and Girl?’ He asked getting up.
