Okay, I can't post right now either, I'll try to post tonight though.
I do a lot of forshadowing in this, but I also don't have a great memory (not a good mix) there are certain things that I remember that I want to happen later, but sometimes I forget smaller things.
So could some of you do me a favor and tell me what you want to find out, or something that you want to happen. Because I do have it planned out, but I don't have a lot of extra stuff for the middle planned out. Wow that was a mouthful...

Chapter 10

Walking over to her bed, Carrie sat down and slipped her headphones over her ears. She stared at the ceiling for a moment then slowly put her Simple Plan c.d. into the player and set it on random.

Carrie woke with a start, she felt like she had just ran as hard and fast as she could. She knew what was up. She had the nightmare again that night...But she couldn't remember it and that was beginning to get to her. Why couldn't she remember it? What was blocking her?
She had a feeling she would not be able to sleep again. The adrenaline was rushing through her veins and her heart was pounding. Everybody was asleep, and she wouldn't have told anybody even if they were awake.
Knowing she would not be able to think straight she walked down the stairs to the commen room and sat be the window.
She began to sing softly

'I looked away

She did not like to sing in front of people, but when she was feeling confused- it did not require thinking. It soothed her almost...
It was funny- her singing about love. People went out and broke up. It was a never ending circle, that is what she believed. It never lasted forever, It rarely did.

That was it. Something struck her.
Malfoy had sad the Dark Lord would not be happy she had the dream, so it must not have been planted into her mind by him. But why would Malfoy say anything, to trick her?
Or to feel smarter? She knew the Malfoys' loved knowing things others didn't, and showing them they knew it.
So whoever planted it must have been warning her. But why? Why not just tell her? And if it was what the dream showed, there was no escaping that fate. Not only that, whoever planted it had to have been very powerful to do that.
She had to figure it out....
Before it was too late....




I'm rereading my story, and found out all but two paragraphs of this post are lyrics. Is that sad? Apparently I couldn't think of enough to write.

I know that whole chapter was completely plotless except for that last bit, but the next will be much more relevant to the story line- I just need to think of it first!

Chapter 11

Carrie was distant over the next few days. Well more distant than usual. She kept losing focus in her classes, staring at walls, and forgetting where she was walking to. Walking, it seemed, without a particular destination. There were nights where she woke up shaking. Knowing she had that nightmare over again but could not recall it.
It's funny, she thought, You have petty nightmares that haunt you for weeks, months even. And all you do is pray that you'll forget them. But once you have a dream that might have a reason behind it you can't remember.......You try to but it is so fuzzy in your mind. Or it may just be the severity of it.......
She had to ask what this meant. There was only a handful of people in the school that might know anything at all. But she was not going to like talking to them one bit..............

Carrie slipped among the corridors of the school that saturday, trying as hard as possible to not be noticed. The only problem with her orbing and flaming was that it was kind of obvious if anyone was looking her way. Watching someone dissappear is a poof of flames or light is not something the students at Hogwarts see everyday.
Everytime someone walked in front of her and was about to turn to see her she had about a split second to go.

Both lucky and unlucky, Malfoy saw her.
'What's with your sneaking?'
Carrie gave an obviously fake smile,'I am not sneaking'
She did not want to jump to the question to quickly, but she couldn't help anticipating, she as good as died in the nightmare. Just thinking about it made her nocious, but she would not let that be seen.
Draco Malfoy just smirked then leaned against the wall,'Right, it looked a hell of a lot like sneaking to me.'
Carrie raised her eyebrows and let out a slow breathe,'What did you mean when you said Voldemort-' He tensed at the sound of his name, she folded her arms and smirked, then continued,'when you said he would not be happy about me having the ni-.... dream?'
'...And you seriously expect me to answer that?'
'No, actually I didn't, I am not that dumb.'
'So the demon girl has no plan? I am not going to tell you anything, even if I wanted to I wouldn't.' He raised his eyebrows, 'What are you going to do anyway? The only offensive power I've seen- felt rather- you use was when you threw me into a stone wall. So you're going to throw another temper tantrum like that?'
Carrie sighed and looked down,'I've been practicing since then...just tell me why you said that. You don't have to tell me Voldemorts plans.'
He looked thoughtful for a minute,'I could tell you some things if you told me something...'
She shook her head,'This is stupid, you aren't going to tell me anything thats true, you'd trick me. Or any useful information.'
'You would do the same. It's two way, don't even act like you would tell someone something that He could use against you'
Carrie laughed softly,'Or you may just not know anything at all.'

Chapter 12
'Oh, I know things. I might not tell you them- but if there was a deal...' His cold gray eyes flicked towards her. His expression was unreadable, often the way hers could be.
She looked at the uneven stones in the floor,'That would depend on what you want to know.'
He smiked, shaking his head and she felt irritation begin to rise inside her,'If you want to know what information I have-'
Carrie cut him off, her voice cool,'You could be lying.'
'If you would like to know anything at all about the dark lord, or whatever you want to know; then you aren't going to be setting the deal. You are going to tell me what I want to know first.'
Carrie looked up, her expression suddenly sharp,'Why? So you can walk off after and not tell me anything?' she gave a derisive snort and finished sarcastically, 'Ha, funny.'
Malfoy readjusted his position of leaning against the wall, and her looked almost as if he was growing impatient,'What's your question? I'll see if I can answer it...but you have to tell me what I want to know.'
Her eyes closed for a second, then she opened them and fixed her stare at a wall
'Why would Voldemort care about me having a dream?'
Draco looked thoughtful, making sure that his answer would not upset Him,'He did not plant it there, though it was planted. He thinks someone was trying to warn you- but did not know who. In so many words the dream was not the work of your imagination.'
She knew what that meant. It was real. But the only bright side- if you could call it a bright side- is that it didn't happen yet. Fate was not yet sealed until it was over and done with. Something or someone could always come along and change the course of time.
Not that she credited fate.
Draco Malfoy looked at her once more,'Now you have to live up to your end of the bargain.' He looked away and his eyes flicked around to make sure no one was near. Carrie waited for him, not that that made her look patient. She had crossed her arms and her finger was tapping against her upper arm.
'How do you use your demonic powers?'
She tried her best not to look surprised and just barely succeeded.
'Why...would you want to know that?'
'What does it matter?'
She decided not to bother arguing.'You just had to ask a question I would not be able to answer didn't you?' She let out a slow breathe, once again staring at the floor, but lifting her gaze before she spoke.'I honestly don't know I can't explain it. It's like when your wizarding powers first start to show and you only use them when you feel an extreme emotion, and when you do use them it is not on purpose. I guess after the powers first are used, even if it is not on purpose, you can learn a lot. Then you can try to teach yourselve how to use them better.'
As he looked away she spoke softly,'Sorry I could not explain it better'
Before he would be able to look her way again she orbed out.
She never would know if he did look back or not...

Nearly everyone one of Carrie's 'relatives' was deep into dark magic. So deep, that there was no way they could ever get out- they would never want to. A hunger for power had corrupted their minds. A thought that there was no such thing of good and evil, just power, had brainwashed them. No way out.
Bellatrix Lestrange was not a blood relative of any of them though. She was adopted by Andromeda and Narcissa's mother.
Oh they went to great lengths to make sure she was a pureblood though, all right. Great lengths indeed, they researched every documented wizarding paper there was. Or as far back as there were kept. Why? Too many pureblood wizarding families were interrelated. Then there was Carrie. If muggles don't know about witches and wizards, what makes witches and wizards think they know all magical beings?

Carrie sat in the Gryffindor common room flipping her c.d. case, over and over again in her hands. She didn't need to listen to it, she already had a song stuck in her head. Walking up to her dorm, she began to sing a bit to herself...

Walking up the stairs, she felt her body collide with something, or someone.
'**** it, I am sooo sorry!' She looked up into Hermione's face. The other girl looked away quickly.
'It's fine.' With that she walked off. Carrie felt a surge of anger shoot through her. Harry, Ron and Hermione, of ALL people, should know not to assume things. For one brief moment she thought that Draco Malfoy might be right about them, then blew that entire idea off. Whether she liked knowing him or not, he was evil.
Well they better think this through soon, assuming can become very dangerous... Carrie thought coldly. She spun on her heels and glared at Hermiones back until it turned around a corner, out of view. Out of anger and aggravation, she made a rude hand gesture towards her back.
Carrie was surprised at herself, Hermione wasn't outright nasty. But she didn't even have a reason not to talk to her.
Rolling her eyes, she pounded her feet on the way up the dorm steps. She was wondering if she missed quidditch practice. It seemed to be so long since she was last there and Malfoy hit that bludger in her teams direction....
Thinking about that just made her even more upset- it seemed like everybody hated her. What the hell did she do?
She looked up at the ceiling...

wow great post! sorry i haven't posted, i have been busy with my graduation and moving into our new house! post soon!!!!

In a week school will be out and I will be more active in writing my fan fic. I also have a lot of people at school that are getting me really irritated, so once I am out of school I will be able to concentrate. (does anybody know how I feel? )

i do I really know how you feel. There are a LOT of people at my school that irritate me all the time, but i learned to ignore them. Just get through the rest of the school year and then you will be a free bird.
