Draco watched Harry step into the coffee shop with the Weasley with narrowed eyes. How he could still show his face in public after cheating on Hermione like that was beyond him. Well, if he didn't want Hermione anymore, Draco wasn't holding back.

"C'mon Hermione, give us another kis, will you please?" Draco said, just loudly enough to make Harry's head turn.

"Of course." Hermione gave Draco a kiss on the cheek. Harry's face flushed.

"You know what I mean love." Draco gave Hermione a wink. Hermione's eyes widened, and she smiled. She turned her head sideways and gave Draco a more passionate kiss. Draco pulled out his tongue, and Hermione, suprised and intrigued, gave it up as well. Harry was about ready to kill.

"Ginny sit on my lap, will you please?" Ginny was happy to oblige. Harry put his hands on her hips and, began to kiss her stomach. Ginny looked around and saw Hermione and Draco. This was carrying it a bit too far! But, Ginny sensed Harry and Draco were competing, and was happy to take part.

"Anything else I can do you you?" Ginny whispered in his ear. Harry tongue-kissed her, and Ginny almost fell over. This was better than before they were dating.

Draco looked over and watched HArry and Ginny. Rage filled him, and Hermione mistook it for passion. She took his hand and slid it under her shirt. Draco caught Harry's eye and smirked. He continued to kiss Hermione, ignoring the waitress that came up to their table.

"Well, I never! This place get's worse and worse." She tried at Harry and Ginny's table, but they were getting heavy, and she tossed her notepad in the air. "I give up. Feast on each other, why don't you?"

"Good idea." Harry said, and Ginny giggled. The waitress stormed away. Ginny took Harry's hands in hers, and put them on her legs. Draco lost it.

"Hermione, will you be my GIRLFRIEND?" Draco asked, right in the middle of the shop. Harry and Ginny stopped their antics, and watched.

"Of course Draco." Hermione said happily.

"Then please wear this necklace?" Draco took out a black velvet jewelry box. Hermione opened it. Inside was a silver necklace with a diamond in the middle. Hermione gasped when she saw it.

"Oh Draco, it's beautiful? Please put it on me?"

"Yes Love." Draco clasped it behind her neck, and Harry lost it. He threw Ginny off him and raced over to their table. "What the-"

Harry pushed Hermione aside, and she fell to the floor, crying out in pain. Harry started to pummel Draco, cursing at him with every punch flown. Draco punched him in the head, temperarily knocking him out. Draco went to Hermione's aid.

"Are you ok Hermione?" Draco helped her up.

"Y-yes...who was that?"

"That," Draco said as he led Hermione out the door, "Was your ex-boyfriend."

"That," Draco said as he led Hermione out the door, "Was your ex-boyfriend."


Hermione gasped, "Oh wow I had bad taste." she whispered.

Draco cracked a smile, "I'll have to agree with you there." he slipped his hand aound her waist and they walked out of the shop not looking back.

The fight was soon forgotten by the couple as they spent the rest of their day with laughter and love.

Ginny watched as Draco and Hermione left, envy clear in her eyes. Why are they so perfect?? It's not fair. She heard Harry groan.

She went down and bent beside him, "Harry, are you okay?"

"Ugh. Yeah I think so." he said with another groan as he sat up feeling blood pouring down his nose. He was pretty sure he had a black eye too.

"Harry let's go to the Hospital Wing. You look terrible." Ginny said helping him up.

20 minutes later...

Madam Pompfrey was cleaning up Harry's wounds and using various spells to patch him up.

She was muttering things along the line of, "Honestly can't stay out of fights... No respect for each other...Good gracious kids these days..." and so on.

Harry was sitting at the edge of the bed wincing as Pompfrey did her work. Ginny was sitting on a stool by the window staring out the window, thoughts of the fight swirling in her head. She started arguing about it in her head;

Why did he get mad at Malfoy?

Because Malfoy was with his girlfriend.

But he shouldn't care about that he's with me!

Well apparently he does.

I have to get him to forget about Hermione, but how??

Ginny sat there and thought about it, "Man, I wish I had my book." she muttered to herself trying to remember the next chapter after He's almost Yours, Now Reel Him In.

"What book?"

She turned around quickly to find Harry standing there, "Oh- um - Potions! I lost it." she lied, "So are we going?"

Harry gave her an odd look, "No I have to talk to McGonagall. I think I'm getting another detention. I think it was worth it. Bloody Malfoy."

Ginny had a spark on inspiration, "Well if you want Harry, i could serve those detentions with you." she smiling.

"Oh no. I couldn't ask you to-"

"No really! It'll be just fine."

Harry smiled, "Thanks Gin you're the best!" he said giving her a huge hug.

Ginny wore mysterious smirk the rest of that day.

Hermione and Draco were together constantly. People began to whisper behind their hands about Hermione and Harry, and what they used to be. Harry, in retaliation, continued to allow himself to be seen with Ginny, but anyone could see he was pining for Hermione. Ginny was the one to breach the subject.

"Harry?"

"Hm?" They were sitting in the Gryffindor Common Room, Ginny on Harry's lap, looking a bit uncomfortable.

"I want to talk to you."

"I'm listening." But she could tell he wasn't. Ginny slid off his lap and sat in front of him, his hands in hers.

"Well....it's about Hermione, and Draco....and me."

"I don't want to talk about that right now." Harry looked away. Ginny let go of his hands and took his face in her hands instead.

"Harry....I want to talk about it. People are starting to talk...about us, about you and Hermione...Hermione and Draco..."

"I know. I'm not deaf!" Harry got up and walked around nervously. The few people that were in the Common Room left quietly, sensing a commotion.

"Then why won't you discuss this? Can't you see that I have to? I don't want to be called a boyfriend stealer. Or a sl*t. But that's what I'm being called. Don't you understand?"

"Ginny...if anyone called you a sl*t, I'd knock his teeth out. You know that." Harry came back over to the couch. Ginny turned away. "I thought you wanted to talk about this?" Harry said, getting angry.

"Well, what do you plan on doing about it?" Ginny still refused to look Harry in the eye.

"About what?" MEN! So slow! Ginny shook her head in disbelief.

"Harry, you're cheating on your girlfriend-"

"Now, wait just a-"

"Please, let me finish. You are cheating on Hermione. And I'm being used. Not that I don't mind. Harry, I've missed you since the day you broke up with me. I want to get back together. But you and Hermione are only broken up for the time being. If she get's her memory back, do you honestly think she's gonna want to stay with Draco Malfoy?"

"I guess not..." Harry mumbled.

"Then don't count Hermione out now. I...I have to go now." Ginny raced from the room and ran into the dorms. She flung herself on the bed and cried.

Ginny cried until she couldn't cry anymore. She picked up her head and her eyes fell upon a book. It was the book she was using to get Harry back. She picked herself up off the bed and strode across the room.

"Heya!" She yelled, and tossed the book out the window. The window broke with a SMASH and the book fell onto the rocks below and into the Lake. Ginny could see the Giant Squid's tentacles reach out and grab the book. Ginny's face was streaked with tears.

"That's the last time I try to not be alone....I'm sick of boys." Ginny flopped down on the bed, and thought of what she had done...for Hermione.
