| You might understand the plot more now Fine print Luna awoke and immediately looked around her. Nobody had seen the man she killed last night, though, who would? It was hard to see though the disillusion charm. Last night was a little blurry to her. She wasn’t sure why she killed the man, he was just a muggle, nothing more. He could do no harm to her whilst she had her wand. Yet she killed him. Luna thought about all the people the man could have who cared about him. He might have children, loved wands, parents, grandparents! He was the first person she killed who she had no idea about their family. She had known about Rodinth’s and she obviously knew about her own. The man had done nothing to her. And she killed him. She then realised, she didn’t care.
Determined to get as far away from Hogsmeade as possible she stood up and began to walk away. It was then she noticed the letter on the floor beside her, she turned back and picked it up. It was Eliza’s letter and after quickly reading through it, Luna moved to burn it but stopped. Looking back at the letter. Something wasn’t right about it. “They were reading our letters and they don’t even know what I’m telling you now.” She whispered. Something wasn’t right about that line. Surely Eliza would just write ‘They were reading our letters but they’re not now.’ There was something odd about the line. “I understand why you did what you did. Totally.” It made Luna think that Eliza was being careful with words, she was careful with how she phrased things, Luna realised that now.
Any ministry person would think that Eliza was referring to Luna taking her hostage, but the word Totally, Eliza was referring to Luna pretending to attack her. If Eliza wasn’t saying this directly, it meant that the ministry didn’t know what happened and that they were reading her letters and Eliza knew it. When she read over the rest of the letter closely things began to click.
Eliza had been taken to the ministry when Luna ran, that was obvious even without Eliza stating it. Luna knew that normally after something like that, Eliza would understand Luna’s mistrust and wouldn’t ask them to meet after a quick apology. Someone was making her ask them to meet. And that someone had to be the ministry. But the fact that Eliza wasn’t mentioning anything that the ministry didn’t know, showed Luna that Eliza hadn’t told them, or she would be encouraged to mention things openly. And finally, she only had until the end of the Christmas holidays for them to meet.
Luna was tired out from all the thinking, but she had to get everything straight in her head. One question she hadn’t answered was why Eliza would agree to something like that? But Luna realised she actually did have the answer. Eliza had helped Luna to escape them, she could be charged with assisting a murderer, she could be sent to Azkaban. Unless she helped to catch a bigger criminal, and they had only given her until the end of the Christmas holidays.
Luna realised that it was far fetched and could be a load of dragon dung, but she would much rather clutch to the hope that her friend wasn’t a back stabbing traitor, and was actually doing her best to keep both of them out of Azkaban. So Luna decided that Eliza deserved a response. Quote:
Eliza
It is nice to hear from you again. I REALLY understand what you are saying and I forgive you, it wasn’t your fault, it never will be. I realise that you didn’t bring them to Hogsmeade, you would be risking getting arrested yourself and you’re not an idiot. I know that. Just remember that we will always understand each other deeply. Deeply. I would like to meet up with you again and I’ll make sure its before the holidays end. Just for you.
Still your friend.
*Luna*

| Bwahaha Please don't kill me Shannon... pleeeaaaseee!!! Red Rock Corenna smiled down at Eliza. “This is great work Eliza. You’ve got us a meeting with Luna, I didn’t think it was possible.”
“Then why did you ask me to do it?” She commented slyly.
Corenna shook her head, not answering the question and looked up as Remnic entered the room.
“You should consider a career with the ministry Eliza.” Corenna said.
“I don’t think so.”
“Why not? You obviously have a talent in this department.”
”I wouldn’t really call it a talent, I’m just doing this for revenge. Being vengeful isn’t a talent.”
Corenna was slightly speechless but changed the topic.
“So you definitely know where to meet?”
Eliza nodded. “We’re meeting on Red lane near her old home at 12 o clock.”
“We will be rendezvousing at half past, keep her occupied until then, we won’t have many wizards around there in case she spots one and becomes suspicious.”
***
Luna had Eliza’s letters stuffed into the pocket she had stitched onto the inside of her cloak. She had read them over and over and hoped that she was not just being stupid, that Eliza was really trying to communicate in secret. Even if Eliza was leading her into a trap, Luna was on guard. If Eliza had dumped her in it this time, she wouldn’t pretend to crucio her, or almost kill her. She would kill her, there was no doubt in her mind about that.
She was taking many trips down memory lane as she passed the three ponds that small kiddies were stood at the edges of throwing stale bread to the ducks. Completely ignoring the ‘do not feed the ducks’ sign. Past the ponds and Rock hall lay the small trek up to her destination. Keeping her face hidden from the eyes of children and parents alike, she finally made it under the cover of trees where she felt much more comfortable in the darkness.
Pulling her hood off, she took a deep breath of the calming woods in. She followed the mud path alongside the river that lead away from the ponds. The towering formation of Red Rock loomed over her. She didn’t feel an ounce of fear as she skilfully scaled up the side, the path she had taken as a child had not changed as within minutes she was sat upon the top of Red Rock looking out across the woods. Looking past the tree covered path she noticed the waterfall. The river she had walked by dropped off just opposite Red Rock, causing a small but dangerous waterfall. A small path of rocks lead across to the other side of the river. Only cocky teenagers and over-confident fathers trying to convince his small son that there was nothing to be scared of, yet plummeting down the watery drop anyway, thus proving his son’s theory that it was dangerous to play on waterfalls.
Then Luna saw what she was looking for, A black cloaked girl slowly starting to make her way up the rocks. One of the reasons she had chosen to meet Eliza at Red Rock was that she would have the advantage if she got there first. She would clearly see any ministry aurors and keep an eye on Eliza as she approached. After a few minutes of glaring around, daring an auror to come out and challenge her, she pointed her wand down at Eliza and slowly levitated the girl up to the top.
“If you have brought anyone with you, I’m throwing you off the top here and if you survive its crucio time.” Luna hissed.
“Luna I swear I didn’t bring those aurors, if I had then why would I have faked the crucio? I could have turned on you and broke free, leaving you to deal with the aurors.” Eliza said simply, she had been anticipating a reception like this.
“But why are you working for them?”
“I’m glad you got my clues, they said that I would either have to help get you arrested or go to Azkaban myself for aiding a murderer. I didn’t want either of them to happen, so right now I’m supposed to be meeting you somewhere else, the aurors are over there, when I go back I will say that you abducted me the second we met and you brought me here to kill me.”
Luna looked around cautiously before letting herself relax, though still holding her wand tight. “Thank you Eliza, you’ve really helped me and I don’t really deserve it.”
“Luna you deserve it! Of course you deserve it. You helped me Luna and I won’t forget it.”
Luna sighed and looked over the edge of the rocks, she gasped as a blonde haired woman was quickly making her way up the rocks. She turned to Eliza and grabbed her by the neck, pinning her down onto the hard surface of the rock. “YOU BROUGHT HER!” She screeched. Pulling Eliza up by the hair and jerking her over to the edge. “I told you what would happen, you brought her here and now you’re going to pay the price for it.”
“Luna I swear…”
“Shut the hell up Eliza.” Luna hissed pushing Eliza closer to the edge of the rock. “This will be the last time you betray me.”
Luna pushed Eliza one last time and smiled as Eliza began to topple over the edge and plummet down to the bushes and trees below.
“NOOO!!! Luna!! What have you done?”
Luna span around. “Hannah??” |

| Monologue Luna didn’t have chance to think about how Hannah had found her, she hurried back over to the rock edge and saw the robes of Eliza fluttering down in the wind.
“ELIZA!! ELIZA!!” Luna screamed, not seeing anything but the girl’s cloak fluttering away.
Luna leant right over the edge, almost falling off herself. “ELIZA!!” She shrieked not seeing Hannah kneeling down beside her.
“Look over there.” Hannah pointed to a tree, Eliza had caught the tree as she fell and caught stuck.
“Thank god!” Luna cried. She paused wondering how she was going to get Eliza. Luna moved to levitate Eliza up but Hannah already beat her too it, gently bring Eliza back to the top of the rocks.
As Eliza brushed herself off she looked up at Luna, pure malice sparkling in her crimson red eyes. “Luna. You are one sick, crazy, murderous son of a…”
“But…” Luna interrupted, looking hurt.
“But nothing Luna, you tried to kill me and if you think that I can just shrug it off you’re more insane than you think. You helped me and I’ve helped you, but doesn’t our friendship mean anything to you? The second you can’t control everything around you, you go freaking psycho. I appreciate what you did for me, but you’ve gone too far.”
“You’re monologing, that’s not a good sign on my side is it?” Luna asked raising her eyebrows.
Eliza shook her head slowly. “I don’t care who you are. Nobody. Throws. Me. Off. A. Cliff.” She hissed through gritted teeth. Pointing her wand at Luna.
“You would be in Azkaban if it wasn’t for me, you would be being arrested right now if I hadn’t risked being put there myself.” Eliza hissed, her anger ready to blow.
“So you’re going to send me back to Azkaban?” Luna asked her wand still in hand if she needed it but not wanting to use it against Eliza after what she had already done.
“No Luna, I won’t let you go back to Azkaban… CRUCIO!!” The red light from Eliza’s wand reflected in her equally red eyes. Luna had no time to react as the curse hit her and she collapsed to the floor screaming out in pain. Eliza stood over Luna a small smile passing her lips. Hannah stood watching in horror, not sure if she should help Luna and risk getting killed, or leave Eliza alone. She decided on the latter, from what she picked up, Luna deserved it anyway.
Luna felt her whole body writhing and jerking in pain. It had been a while since she had experienced the cruciatus curse and this one was powerful. She felt like her bones were shattering inside her and Eliza was giving no sign of relenting. After what felt like a lifetime, Eliza finally let the spell off and Luna lay crumpled on the floor.
Looking down at her, Eliza gave Luna a pitying look. “You’re lucky I’m not going to turn you in to the ministry. That will be the last time you try to kill me.”
(Author’s note: Lolz, riiight, the last time)
Eliza turned and left Luna, climbing back down Red Rock away from the crazy killer.
Hannah bent down and looked at Luna, who was staring into nothing, her eyes unfocused. “She’s right Luna, everyone’s not against you. You’re against everyone.” |

| Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes. Had to sneak on to post this and my laptop doesn't have a spell checker V.V Bully "I've seen you do some crazy things but that tops the list."
"If you don't like it Hannah you can get lost."
Hannah and Luna were travelling across open countryside. They had travelled through Crompton Lodges until they came out near Farnworth cemetary. Luna had wanted to go further away from Red Rock, just in case, but the events of the day had worn her out and with Hannah niggling at her all day she was close to snapping.
"Didn't you recognise me coming up though?" Hannah asked.
"Obviously I didn't. You could have called up, telling me it was you." Luna reasoned.
"How was I supposed to know that you were up with Eliza, and that you were so crazy that you almost killed her."
Luna sat down on a bench in stony silence and Hannah sat down next to her.
"Well you'll be lucky if Eliza doesn't tell the ministry." Hannah said.
"Eliza wouldn't do that." Luna said simply. "She said she wouldn't."
Hannah shrugged. "I suppose she won't, she got her revenge."
Luna raised her eyebrows at Hannah. "I can't remember you trying to save me when she crucioed me."
Hannah shrugged again. "You deserved it."
Quickly Luna jumped up off the bench and pointed her wand at Hannah. "Don't say that to me Hannah or you'll be the one falling off Red Rock, and this time I WON'T fail."
Luna expected Hannah to react but the woman simply smiled. "Luna you are crazy. But I don't think you would do that to me."
Advancing on Hannah, Luna smirked. "Do you want to bet?"
Hannah continued to smile. "I would if I had anything to bet with. Since I joined up with you i've lost everything."
"Oh boo hoo. I can kill you right now and if you push me. I will." Luna threatened.
"You're lying. You won't kill me." Hannah said simply, folding her arms in definance.
Luna was panicked now. She had two options. Kill Hannah to prove that she would and could do it, or not kill her and admit that she couldn't do something like that. Luna simply didn't know which option was better, could she really kill Hannah? She was ready to kill Eliza hours ago, but that was for what she thought was a good enough reason. If she killed Hannah it was for no reason, like when she killed the muggle guy who had come up to her the night she escaped from Hogsmeade.
Slowly Luna lowered her wand and Hannah grinned in triumph.
"I'd wipe that grin off your face before I change my mind." Luna hissed quietly.
"Why? Why do I have to do what you say?" Hannah asked leaning her head to the side.
"Who is the murderer here. You or me?" Luna asked a little puzzled.
"I think you just proved that you're not. You wouldn't kill me." Hannah said smitten.
Luna gritted her teeth. It was taking a lot not to crucio Hannah on the spot.
"Why did you come back to me then? If that's what you think of me why did you bother coming back to me? How did you find me anyway? If the ministry couldn't find me then how could you?" Luna asked confused.
"I came back because even though you are an evil psycho, you're the only person who won't arrest me the moment they recognise who I am. I'm sure you know what that feels like." Luna nodded slowly in understanding. "And it's purely by chance I found you, I've been keeping my eye out for you since you left and I've been hiding around Crommie lodges quite a bit, I saw that mess of hair as I passed by and I knew it had to be you."
Luna sighed. "I guess I can't go to Eliza now. It's just you and me."
Hannah nodded. "Let's go find somewhere to sleep then."
***
"I was waiting where we had agreed, then she just popped out from behind the bushes and dragged me away to Crompton Lodges. She forced me to come to the top of Red Rock where she said she would be able to keep an eye on me. I didn't want to leave where we had arranged but I didn't want to get crucioed even more."
Eliza sat on the opposite side of a desk to Remnic and Corona. They eyed her up calculatingly, taking in her story.
"Then she saw Hannah, you know, Hannah Wilsone, and thought that she was from the ministry or something then tried throwing me off the top of the rocks."
Corona frowned. "If she threw you off, how did you survive? Surely nobody could live from such a fall, and you're not severly injured."
"Hannah saved me." Eliza said simply. "I don't know why, she just did. Once I was back on the rocks I climbed down as quick as I could and I ran. She's a nutter and if you think I'm doing anything like that again..."
"It's okay Eliza." Remnic interrupted. "We won't want you to go back to her, you can just forget about Luna now, let us handle it."
Eliza nodded. "Okay."
"You can go now." Corona said with a reassuring smile to Eliza. "We will catch her, don't worry about it."
Eliza quickly stood up from her chair and left the room, glad that they had swallowed her story and that she wasn't going back to Luna again. It wasn't as if Eliza didn't want Luna as a friend, it was just that she wanted Luna to know that she wasn't able to bully her around. |

| Don't worry, Eliza is not completely gone from the series, I don't think she ever will be James Luna and Hannah had found their way just outside of the cemetery and couldn’t be bothered travelling any further for the day. Curling up underneath a tree they both quickly fell asleep, exhausted.
Later on in the night, Luna awoke suddenly, her eyes widening as a tall figure stands over them. She snatches up her wand and jumps up.
“Lumos.”
Luna jumps back, she had not realised how close the man was. But he was not a man, but a boy. He was quite tall, pale blonde hair that had the unmistakable look of homelessness. She glared at his eyes, deep brown eyes that she studied for a moment.
"Who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing here?" Luna hissed quietly, her wand raised.
The boy spoke confidently. "I'm James."
"James what?"
"Why do you care?" James retorted. "I'm just James, okay?"
"I wouldn't talk to me like that." Luna replied coolly.
"I wouldn't talk to me like that either." James replied in a similar tone.
A smile crept onto Luna's face. "Do you think you're hard or something?"
"Obviously I don't." James replied, not loosing his cool.
"Obviously you do." Luna snapped back.
James looked Luna up and down for a moment. "I've come to you for a reason."
Luna was intrigued. "Come to me? Why would you want to find me? Do you even know who I am?"
"Of course I know who you are, Luna Moore, according to the papers one of the youngest murderers of the century."
"Guilty as charged." Luna said cheekily. "And in a moment I'm going to become one of the youngest mass murderers of the century. What do you want kid?”
James scowled at Luna. “Who are you calling kid? I’m almost 16 and you’re not much older.”
Luna rolled her eyes. “What can you say for yourself? I’d already killed someone by that age.”
Hannah woke up, not expecting Luna to be stood up, especially not expecting another person to be there with her. She got up and took position next to Luna as she gave the boy evil eyes, something about him wasn’t right to her.
“Who are you?” She snarled.
“We’ve already been through that.” James said giving Hannah a similar look. “But for the benefit of those too lazy, I’ll say it aga---“
James couldn’t finish his sentence as he collapsed to the floor from the crucio spell Luna had just shot at him. He fall to the floor in pain for a few moments before Luna took the spell off.
“Speak like that to my friend ever again and I’ll shut your gob up for good.” Luna hissed kicking James while he was on the floor. “You need to develop the right attitude before someone gets hurt. That someone is you.”
James slowly got back to his feet and glared angrily at Luna then at Hannah. Luna gives a small sigh. “Oh I’m sick of this, I’m not taking this.” She points her wand at James. “Avad---“
Hannah knocks Luna’s wand out of her hand. Luna spins around and gives Hannah a positively dark look. “Why did you do that?” She asked slowly, bending down to pick her wand up.
“What has he done to deserve to die?” Hannah asked keeping her eyes fixed on Luna’s wand just in case.
“What does it matter?” Luna cried exasperatedly, “I’m a killer, killing is what I do. Do I need a reason to do what I like, what I love?”
Hannah shook her head slowly.
“I’m glad we got that sorted out.” Luna hissed before turning to James again.
“You are one lucky lad, you get an extra 30 seconds or so of living, you should be thankful.” Luna snarled training her wand on James.
“Don’t kill me.” He said softly gazing into her eyes. “I want to help you.”
“I’ve had enough help over the years thank you very much.” Luna hissed. “Av---“
“I can help you!” He exclaimed.
“Why would you want to help me?” Luna asked, placing a hand on her hip whilst the other hand held her wand steady.
“Because I know you’re not full of rubbish like all the other adults out there. I ran off from Hogwarts and I’ve nowhere else to go. I want to stay with you. My father works at The Daily Prophet, he won’t even notice I’m gone, he doesn’t care about me, just wants me to stay in school so he can work all day and night without having a kid hanging over his shoulder. I thought you might understand.”
Luna thought for a few minutes, he could be her saviour or her downfall. She had taken the same risk however with Hannah and it had paid off, hadn’t it? Luna lowered her wand and sighed. She nodded her head slowly and gives him a stern look. “You can stay with me, but I’m watching you.” |

| I know tis quick but I was in a writing mood This should explain a little about why Luna loves on Neva's hair Blonde Luna had not managed to get back to sleep. Hannah had fallen quickly back and James not long after her. She stares into the black night and begins to wonder about James. There was definitely something she couldn’t put her finger on that she found was weird. Maybe it was because he talked back to her. Rodinth had never been like that, he was just a follower, Hannah spoke up to Luna when needed and it seemed like James was similar.
One thing struck Luna. He was blonde. Why did she always get stuck with blonde people? Rodinth had been blonde before he died, Hannah was blonde and so was this James. Luna used to like blonde hair when she was little. She would gaze into the long wavy blonde hair of supermodels in cosmetics posters in Boots store windows. Luna used to be fixated with hair, particularly shiny hair or blonde hair. She used to love stroking people’s hair just to feel the smooth fibres between her fingers. Once she was older, Luna realised that blonde was a colour for beautiful or good looking people. Her father told her that the mud brown hair was because she was as ugly as mud. He said blonde was the colour of gold, only special people had blonde hair.
Luna used to take him literally till she got older, then she realised he only did it to make himself superior over her, she was like mud to him, not necessarily anybody else. It didn’t make her feel any better and Luna soon learnt to detest and hate blonde hair even though she had once loved it as a toddler. Blonde had become the sign of someone better to her in her head, and the thought still remained in her subconscious through her life.
Luna gazed down at James, wondering about why he ran away. Nobody would voluntarily run away from Hogwarts without a good reason, James didn’t have any reason it looked like. Maybe he had done something wrong and couldn’t face up to the consequences. Or maybe it was as simple as he didn’t like his life at Hogwarts and wanted to start fresh, his dad sounded bad, nowhere near as bad as hers, but still not the ideal father figure.
She looked carefully at James’s hair until he began to stir from his sleep. He opens his eyes to the retreating back of Luna as she walks away from both Hannah and James, she sits down by a tree a few metres away from their sleeping spot. James takes a moment to wake up before walking over and sitting down next to her.
“Are you okay?” He asked softly, in a tone she had not heard from him before.
“What has it got to do with you?” She snapped focusing her eyes on the ground.
“You’re annoyed with me---“ James began before being interrupted by Luna.
“Wow, you must be a genius or something.” She hissed.
“No, let me finish.” Luna rolled her eyes but James ignored it. “You’re annoyed for no other reason than that I’m here. What have I done to upset you?” He asked.
“Nothing, absolutely nothing. This is what I’m always like, learn to live with it or get lost.” Luna snapped standing up and taking a few aggressive steps away from James.
“I never I said I had a problem with it, did I?” He said simply, standing up and taking a cautious step towards Luna.
Luna span around her eyes filled with anger, something about James enraged her easily. “You better not have a problem with it. I’m not here to take in runaway kids.” She hissed.
James stood shocked for a moment, contemplating Luna.
“You really are as unfriendly as the papers say.” He said simply.
Luna groaned and gave up, lying back down to try and get some of that elusive sleep. |

| Two new chapters Are we there yet? Remnic stood at the ministry canteen with Corona. "We need to find her before we send someone out don't we?" Corona asked Remnic as the lunch worker filled her tray up with mash.
Remnic shook his head. "Don't be so naiive."
Corona scowled at him. "I'm not naiive, I just live on a plant called earth. You can't send someone to meet Luna when they don't know where she is."
Remnic slid his tray along the line and paid for his food, he left the que and sat down at a table. A moment later Corona followed and sat down opposite him.
Remnic tapped his nose knowingly. "I live on planet earth too, and you don't need all fancy equipment to find someone." He shoved a fork piled high with Sunday roast into his mouth.
"No, but it sure does help." Corona mumbled, eying up her food suspiciously.
"I can honestly tell you that Luna is not in your food." Remnic said cheekily.
Corona rolled her eyes and groaned, but it didn't stop her giving him a small smile, he could be funny when he wanted to.
***
Luna, James and Hannah were now travelling together. They had left the town of Farnworth and entered the larger town of Bolton. They hid during the night and travelled during the days. Bolton was a lot busier than Farnworth, meaning they could easy emerse themselves in a crowd of shoppers. James had never been to Bolton, so the place was new to him, however for Luna and Hannah who had grown up nearby, Bolton town centre was their second home. Actually third home for Luna, Azkaban was second.
They had just left the town centre and were now on the suburbs of Bolton. Luna could keep on walking, but James and Hannah began to fall behind.
"Come on slow coaches." Luna called to them, sighing and stopping, giving them a chance to catch up. "This is the fifth time I've had to stop." She said to them as they finally reached her.
"We're knackered Luna." Moaned Hannah exasparatedly.
"Yeah, give us a break." James whined.
Luna rolled her eyes. "Whimps." She mumbled, walking off. James and Hannah looked at each other before following her.
They walked another mile further, the landscape steadily becoming more rustic. Hannah ran up to Luna who had been walking ahead the whole way.
"Can't we stop Luna? We're both starving." Hannah moaned.
James appeared on the other side of Luna. "I'm hungry!"
"Well you'll both have to starve won't you." Luna said simply.
"Slow down then so we can save our strength." Hannah bargained.
Luna shook her head.
"Oh come on Luna." Hannah asked again.
"No, it's not my fault you're both weaklings." Luna sighed.
"I would be a lot stronger if I was back home with my feet up watching Disney Channel." Hannah commented.
"Don't start blami---" Luna paused. "You watch Disney Channel? How old are you?"
Hannah grinned stupidly and Luna followed suit, she looked over at James and the smile faded.
"What?" He asked, sensing her unease.
"I bet you don't even know what Disney Channel is do you daddy's boy?" Luna snarled her hand hovering worryingly close to her wand.
"Of course I know what it is, it's a muggle TV channel." He said smugly. Luna scowled at him before hurrying her pace so she was a lot further ahead of them.
"Nice save." Hannah said to James quietly.
"What do you mean?" James asked.
"If you hadn't of known and gave her some wrong answer she would have probably thought you were taking the mick and crucio you." Hannah whispered simply.
"She would do that?" He asked, quite shocked.
Hannah nodded. "She's a murderer, she can do what she wants to anybody, especially us."
James gave Hannah a calculating look. "So why are you here risking your life for somebody who doesn't care if you live or die?"
Hannah didn't answer for a moment as she pondered his question. "I suppose I first came with her because I was curious. She was a lone murderer, I was interested in what she did. I like random things like that, being spontaneous so I just thought what the hell and joined her."
James frowned. "You just decided to go join a murderer? You're weird."
"Thanks kid." Hannah said grinning, "That's a compliment. I had to stay with her after she killed Rodinth, this other little kid, I was with her, we both got sent to Azkaban and I broke us out. After that I've actually become almost as wanted as she is."
James nodded in understanding. "I see."
Hannah looked over to Luna to check that the woman wasn't listening in on their conversation. "So what about you? Whats the real reason you're here?" She asked.
James looked a little shocked. "My real reason.. um... yeah... I just wanted to get away from my father."
Hannah gave him a withering look. "Right, well keep sticking to that story and I'll see how long you last around Luna."
"Why would I lie?" James asked.
"Because you're a ministry spy out to get me and Luna arrested." Hannah stated simply, no trace of a joke in her voice.
"WHAT?" He protested. "You think I'm out to get you arrested? You think I was sent here to get you both? I guess Luna isn't the only crazy one here."
"Well I don't care why you are here, but if myself or Luna get hurt because your ministry friends decide to come send us to Azkaban, I swear, Luna won't be the only murderer around here." Hannah hissed quietly.
"You have nothing to worry about, I'm not from the ministry." James assured her.
"You better not be." Hannah said sternly.
"OY! If you two are gossiping about me i'ma come over there and rip your mouths off." Luna shouted to Hannah and James who immediately broke off their discussion. She glared at them both for a second before continuing their walk. James caught up to Luna.
"Where are we going anyway?" He asked.
"Anywhere." Luna replied coldly.
"Where is anywhere?" He asked.
"Just over that hill."
"When are we going to get there?"
"When you shut up."
"Do you know where you're going?"
"Yes."
"Have you been there before?"
"No."
"Will it be safe?"
"Probably."
"What do you mean by probably?"
"That there is a higher probability of it being safe than it is not safe, however it is not definate."
James gave Luna a puzzled look but Luna grinned at him.
"I knew that would shut you up." She said triumphantly.
"But is hasn't."
Luna rolled her eyes.
"You said that we were going to get there when I shut up, but I shut up. So are we there yet?"
Luna shook her head. "No."
James was quiet for a few moments. "Are we there now?"
"No."
James was quiet again for a little longer this time, a whole minute. "Are we there yet?"
Luna bit down on her lip fighting back the urge to plant her fist in his face.
"Are we th--" His sentence was interrupted as Luna slammed her fist into his nose, there was the sound of a shattering bone and blood oozed from his nostrils. He bent over, watching the blood dribble down into a puddle in the floor.
"We're there now." Luna spat venomously |

| High James had been bitter about the punch for days, until he realised that it was dangerous to be angry with Luna. She on the other hand had been given new life, she was much more bouncy, happy and giddy. To Hannah and James, this was very dangerous. A giddy Luna meant that she was likely to curse you or torture you for no real reason. A moody Luna meant she was likely to snap or do something totally crazy like crucio herself. Both were bad but it hurt James and Hannah a lot less if she hurt herself rather than them. But Luna was on a completely new high, they didn't know why but she was different to the woman she had been punching out James.
Luna was now climbing up a grassy hill, the sun shining down on the trio and the soft white clouds drifting lazily across the blue sky. They had decided to take a break whilst it was so bright, it was weird, it was just moving into spring, yet it was as bright as Luna was.
James and Hannah sat at the bottom of the hill as Luna carefully set herself up at the top before rolling down the hill, giggling madly as she tumbled down, ending in a grass heap she had made at the bottom.
Luna climbed out of the pile of grass and ran over to Hannah and James.
"Come on! Dance! Jump! Sing! Do something!!" Luna cried spinning around on the spot.
Hannah gave Luna a nervous look. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Of course I am! Why do you keep asking?"
"It's just you seem a lot happier than usual." James replied.
"Oh don't be so silly!" Luna giggled running off to climb the hill again. James had expected Luna to come up with a snarky comment like she used to whenever he spoke, but this was just weird.

Corona was stood glaring at Remnic over her desk. "What happened to your plan? I'm not paying you to sit around." She snapped.
Remnic gave her a superior smile, "I told you--"
"You told me you had a plan."
"This is my plan."
"Doing nothing isn't a plan, specifically its the lack of a plan."
"I have a plan, it's working perfectly."
"If we don't have Luna, how can you call it a plan?"
"You have to have patience and wait."
"Wait for what?"
"Wait for her to do something."
"You expect her to pop up with no bait, no reason at all?"
"Yep."
"Get out of my office Remnic, I want a real plan." She snapped pointing towards the door.
"Oh come on Corona," He pleaded standing up anyway.
"Come back when you have a plan that will work."
"I HAVE ONE!" He shouted. "Fine then, you can have your blessed plan." He snapped before turning on his heals and leaving the office. Corona sighed and collapsed down into her chair.

"I'm bored." Wailed Luna as they set off walking again. "I'm sick of having to use you two for entertainment."
James and Hannah glanced at each other slightly nervously but pleased she wasn't cursing them.
"Why don't we do something?" She asked, turning around to look at them both.
"Like what?" James asked.
"Something fun, let go kill someone or burn down someone's house." She said a look of hunger passing her face.
"Luna you shouldn't do that." Hannah said to her, knowing it wouldn't really make a difference.
"I shouldn't be a murderer on the run, but what do you know?" Luna replied sarcastically.
"Can we do something that doesn't involve killing people?" Asked James.
Luna looked from James to Hannah and smiled. "No." |
