| Living a New Life - Sa16+ hey what up its yo girl Tara back with my 38th FF here on SS! woot! This FF is the sequel to one of my other FF's called Whatever It Takes! Hope you like it! Enjoy!
X's and O's,
Tara Summary:
Seven years have passed, and Farah’s life has been nothing but normal. In the time process, Draco has done nothing but lavish her with gifts, treating her like the real royalty he thinks she is. She only receives the best. Her new life has included those of the richest and most dominate of the Pureblood wizarding families. Since then, Farah and Draco have married and had a set of twins, a boy and a girl, Knox Ulysses Malfoy and Onyx Passion Malfoy, who are both now four years old. But when Harry comes back to visit his daughter, it complicates everything for the whole Malfoy family. Old love is rekindled and choices arise. But in the end, will everything be fine? Will Draco’s perfect life crash down before him? Will Harry get back what he has wanted since it was taken away? Or will the whole mess drive Farah crazy enough to do something so drastic and unpredictable that no one saw it coming, not even her own husband Draco? Lies, love and feuds come to play, and with all these combined, no one is safe, no matter how much they think they are. Chapter 1
The sun shone brightly on the large mansion, the grass and gardens greener than ever. The wind blew softly, and the Malfoy twins could be found in the backyard, chasing their puppy through the winding gardens. A patio table was placed near the house with five beautiful and rich witches sitting at it. The witch’s husbands were standing a bit away, talking amongst themselves as their wives sipped tea and chatted away to each other. Tinsley was sitting near, brushing one of her many dolls' hair. Troy was trying to get his toy broom to fly in the air.
“Sixth wedding anniversary… has it really been that long since you married Draco?” Katie Hawkins, the read headed witch who had married Daniel, asked Farah.
Farah sat her tea down gently on the table. “Yes. Time has flown by…hasn’t it?”
Farah pushed her long hair behind her ear and shifted her dress. All the women wore beautiful sundresses and hats to keep the sun out of their eyes.
The women nodded in unison.
“You are truly lucky, Farah,” Sarah McDaniel said. “Draco is charming, simply charming. If only my husband Adam were the same…”
“I agree,” Kate Sharpe nodded. “He spoils you… it’s a bit ridiculous, really…”
Farah’s eyes cut over to where Draco was standing. He had been looking at her too, his hands in his pockets as he winked, smiling at her. She returned the smile and turned to face her friends.
“See, look at that,” Lisa Webber exclaimed. “The way he looks at you. I think my husband only married me to continue his family tree… ugh, I’m so jealous.”
Farah smiled. “I get it girls… I’m lucky. You all remind me all the time…”
“We’re just making sure you never forget,” Natalie Brooklyn said.
“Trust me, I never will,” Farah sighed, looking over at Draco again.
She twirled her hair and he smiled at her again. She blew him a kiss and he pretended to catch it.
“Okay, loverboy, enough of the Mrs. Malfoy…” Farah heard Daniel Hawkins say as he shoved Draco on the arm and made Draco turn to face the group of men.
But it didn’t stop Draco from taking one more glance at Farah, making her giggle. She turned back to her friends and they all began talking again, all chatting away about their wonderful lives as the wealthiest pureblood families in the wizarding world.
“Mummy!” Onyx yelled.
“One moment,” Farah said, leaving her group of friends and going into the gardens.
She walked until she was in the center, right next to the large marble water fountain. She looked around, but her daughter was nowhere in sight. She felt an arm grab her and she turned to see Draco, his arms snaking around her waist.
“I had Onyx yell after you… nothing is really wrong…” Draco smiled. “The air kiss wasn’t good enough…”
Farah looked up at Draco. “You know, the others are eventually going to catch on…”
Draco kissed her softly on the lips. “But I couldn’t resist… I love you…”
“I love you too,” Farah said, gently returning the kiss.
After a few moments, Farah broke away from the kiss and said, “I think we should get back to our guests…”
Draco nodded. “You go back first…”
Farah nodded, taking herself out of Draco’s arms and walking back over to where her friends were sitting. They all sat back in their seats once she took her seat, not noticing Draco as he joined his group of friends moments later.
“So… is it true that today is the day Potter is coming over to see Tinsley?” Natalie asked, making all eyes fall on Farah.
Farah crossed her legs. “Yes, it is… which reminds me, he will be here soon…”
“I still can’t believe you were ever with him…” Anna mumbled.
All the girls started in on how they couldn’t believe Farah had ever been with him, when it was completely obvious she was meant for Draco.
“So… today is the day Potter comes over…” Daniel sneered from the group of men. “How exactly did you let this happen?”
“It isn’t what I want…” Draco admitted. “Farah wants Tinsley to see her ‘birth father’. Oh honestly, I’m more of a father to her than Potter is. I was there when she even gave birth to Tinsley! But it’s what Farah wants…”
“And what Farah wants, she gets…” Adam McDaniel cut in.
Draco’s eyes flickered over to him. “You’re exactly right.”
“You should seriously lay off the spoiling, Draco… you’re making our wives jealous…” Andrew Sharpe announced.
“I know… my wife is starting to complain...” Benjamin Brooklyn said. “Natalie is always saying ‘Draco does this for Farah’ or ‘Draco got Farah this’, things like that…”
“I agree,” Lloyd Webber piped up.
“Boys… you all know what Farah wants, Farah gets. Even if it does include stupid Potter coming over…” Draco said. “I will stop at nothing to please my wife…”
“Apparently…” Daniel grumbled.
Draco rolled his eyes.
“Okay, girls, Harry should be here any minute…” Farah said, cueing her friends to leave.
Farah got up and went over to Draco, letting him wrap his arm around her waist and kiss her forehead. All of the men collected their wives, each of them saying goodbye and disapparating to their own mansions. Once everyone was gone, Draco looked down to Farah and said, “I guess it’s time…”
“Yes. Let’s leave the other children out here. I don’t think we should have any disruptions… will you watch them?” Farah asked.
“No, I will not,” Draco said, flatly. “Tinsley is my daughter, and I will be in the room with her while Potter is here… the nanny can watch them.”
Draco snapped his fingers and in the blink of an eye, the Malfoy’s nanny was standing in front of them, ready to work.
“Keep the children occupied… we have some business to attend to,” Draco told her.
The nanny nodded and was soon off, looking for the other Malfoy children. Farah got Tinsley, followed by Draco, and walked into the mansion. Draco led Farah into the living room and they all sat down.
“Mummy… what is going on?” Tinsley asked, still clutching her doll, brushing its hair gently.
“We’re having a guest over, darling,” Farah said, looking down at her hands.
Draco looked away.

| Chapter 2 The doorbell sounded, the noise echoing all through the large mansion, giving the knowledge that Harry Potter had now arrived. Draco’s hands turned to fists and Farah sat up straighter in her seat.
“But daddy is already here…,” Tinsley said, clear puzzlement in her voice.
She looked over at Draco and he looked away. This was all too much for him to bear.
“Mister Harry Potter has arrived, Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy,” the butler, Thomas, announced. “He is in the foyer. Shall I bring him in here?”
“Yes, Thomas, please do,” Farah said.
Draco’s jaw was clenching over and over again, as if he were chewing some gum. This made Farah all the more nervous.
“Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy, I present to you Mister Harry Potter,” Thomas announced.
Harry came into the room after the butler. A sharp intake of breath came from his lips as his eyes landed on Farah. The same prominent beauty she possessed was still in her presence, she was still as beautiful as she had ever been. It drove Harry mad.
“Harry…it’s nice to see you again…,” Farah said, getting up.
She walked over to Harry and shook his hand, a feeling of electricity going up Harry’s arm. Their eyes locked for a moment, making Draco’s jaw clench even more.
“Y-you too,” Harry managed to say, still holding Farah’s hand.
Farah flashed him a smile and withdrew her hand.
“Please, take a seat,” Farah said, returning to her seat and motioning to the empty seat for Harry.
He sat down, his eyes taking in the large room before they landed on his daughter. A large smile spread across his face. She looked exactly like Farah, but she had the same emerald green almond-shaped eyes Harry possessed. She was tall for her age, and she was very skinny. She had the appearance of a large porcelain doll, with her beautifully tanned skin and brown curly hair cascading all the way down her back. She continued brushing her doll’s hair, too shy to make eye contact with Harry.
“Daddy, who is that man?,” Tinsley finally asked, her eyes cutting over to Harry momentarily.
“Let’s let your mother explain this, darling,” Draco replied, looking over at Farah.
Their eyes locked, as if telepathically telling each other their thoughts. Farah nodded and scooted forward in her seat, leaning close to her young daughter.
Tinsley looked over at her mother, a look of impatience on her dace. “Well?”
“This man…his name is…Harry Potter,” Farah said.
Both her eyes and her daughter’s eyes landed on Harry. He looked back, as if challenging Farah to tell the truth.
“Harry…he is your birth father,” Farah said. She cleared her throat. “He is your real father.”
“No, mummy, you’re wrong,” Tinsley said. She pointed to Draco. “He is my real daddy.”
Draco leaned forward in his seat as well. “I am your father, but not your real one. Harry is your real father.”
“Daddy, have you gone mad?,” Tinsley asked. “You’re my real daddy…you always have been my real daddy…”
Tinsley gently laid her doll down and walked over to Draco, climbing up in his lap. She played with his hair. Draco’s arms wrapped around her, holding her.
“I’m not your real daddy,” Draco told her, choking a bit on the last few words. “I’m your daddy, but not your real one. Harry is your real father. He is the reason you have those green eyes neither I nor your mother have.”
Both Harry and Farah remained quiet, watching the scene with batted breath.
Tinsley looked across the room at Harry, gazing at his eyes. “So he really is my real daddy?”
Draco nodded, looking as if he wanted to cry. This was all so hard for him. Even though Tinsley wasn’t his real daughter, it still felt that way. He had been there when she was born, he had helped raise her, he had treated her as if she were his own. He loved her because he loved Farah. She had become the second light of his life, and he loved her with all of his heart. He was so emotionally attached, because not long after she was born, Farah had finally proclaimed her true love for Draco. Tinsley meant so much to Draco, and it hurt for her to finally realize that he wasn’t her real father. He felt as if he had been stabbed in the heart.
Tinsley got down out of Draco’s lap and crossed the room, stopping in front of Harry.
“You’re my real daddy?,” she asked him.
Harry nodded, tears starting to fall down his face. “Yes. Yes I am.”
Tinsley looked at him for a second before she flung herself into his arms, hugging him tight. Harry hugged her back, crying hard. He patted the back of her head, the scene was very emotional.
“I love you,” he whispered to her. “I’m sorry I haven’t been here all of this time…”
Tinsley didn’t reply, she just continued hugging him tightly.
A few tears fell from Draco’s eyes. He looked over to see Farah crying silently, tears falling down her cheeks like a river. He rose from his seat and left the room. This was all too much for him to bear.
“Draco, wait,” Farah called, rising from her seat and going after him. She shut the door behind her. “No, please, stay.”
“I can’t. This isn’t my family…there is no need for me to be in there…,” Draco told her, looking down at her through his thick blonde eyelashes.
“I’m your family. And so is Tinsley. Please, be there for me. I need your support,” Farah begged.
Draco hesitated, almost going back into the room. But the vision of Tinsley and Harry flashed before his eyes, and he made up his mind.
“I’m sorry, love. I can’t. This hurts too much. Seeing Tinsley with Potter…it hurts me, Farah. I watched her come into this world, I’ve watched her grow, I’ve raised her as my own. And to see her with Potter, it’s too much to bear. I can’t do it, Farah. I can’t stay in there,” Draco told her. He whipped his tears away and took a hold of Farah’s chin, whipping her tears away as well. “You’ll do fine without me. You’re strong and brave. You can handle this better than me.”
Farah wrapped her arms around Draco’s neck and kissed him passionately. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” he told her, breaking the beautiful kiss and withdrawing himself from her grasp.
He opened the door and gently pushed her in, closing it behind her. He then walked down the hall, up the stairs to his study and drinking a glass of Firewhisky, trying his best to drown his sorrows away.
Farah watched the scene before her. Tinsley and Harry were still locked in the tight hug. Harry finally released his daughter once he realized Farah was back inside the room. He watched her closely as she moved across the room, returning to her seat.
Farah unconsciously played with the beautiful wedding ring on her finger. The band of the ring was silver, the large diamond sat in the middle. On each side of the large diamond laid four smaller diamonds. The ring had been extremely costly, but not to Draco. Farah deserved the best, and that’s what she got. Plus Draco practically had an endless fortune. The ring was beautiful enough to light up the whole room.
Harry watched her closely, his eyes landing on the dazzling ring. “So it’s true. You and Malfoy ‘tied the knot’.”
Farah nodded and quickly looked away, crossing her legs and pulling her dress over her knee better. Tinsley looked over at her beautiful mother, but she remained silent. She could sense that now wasn’t the time to talk.
“Why?,” Harry asked. “Why did you do this to me? Did you not think about how I might feel? Did you not realize I still love you more than anything in this whole damn world?”
“I’m sorry, Harry,” Farah replied, crying. “We got married six years ago…I figured you would know we were going to get married…”
“Of course I knew! The whole wizarding world knew! It was even in the damn Daily Prophet for Merlin’s sake!,” Harry exclaimed.
“Every wizarding wedding in Britain is mentioned in that paper…,” Farah mumbled.
“Yeah? Well how do you think I felt seeing it there?,” Harry asked. “How do you think I felt to practically be the last person on the face of the Earth to know that you had done that to me? How do you think I felt to read ‘Farah Castillo marries Draco Malfoy’ when I know good and well that I should be reading ‘Farah Castillo marries Harry Potter’? How do you think I felt?”
Farah took a deep breath. “Tinsley, run along to the nanny, darling.”
“Yes, mummy,” Tinsley said, grabbing her doll off the floor and leaving the room.
Farah looked back over at Harry. “I’m so sorry Harry. But I told you, I loved Draco first.”
“Liar! You can’t! You shouldn’t! I was with you first!,” Harry yelled. “YOU BROKE MY HEART!”
“I’M SORRY!,” Farah screamed back. “I TOLD YOU I LOVED DRACO FIRST! I’VE LOVED DRACO SINCE OUR BLOODY FIRST YEAR, WHEREAS I DIDN’T FALL IN LOVE WITH YOU UNTIL THIRD YEAR! I TOLD YOU I WENT TO YOU BECAUSE I FELT REJECTED BY DRACO!”
“So, what was I, huh?,” Harry asked. “A little fling in between this thing you have going on with Malfoy?”
“No…it’s not like that Harry…I told you…I went to you because I felt rejected by Draco…you were so sweet and caring, and I fell for you…I really did love you. But I also never thought Draco would love me back. I can’t help it that he does…,” Farah cried, standing up.
Harry rose from his seat as well. He crossed the room to Farah, closing the distance between the two. He took a hold of her arm.
“‘Did’? You ‘did’ love me?,” he asked her softly. “Does this mean your love for me is…gone?”
“I’m so sorry,” Farah breathed. “But I’m with Draco now…everything is perfect.”
“I still love you, Farah. You can’t do this to me. I love you. I love you so much. It’s been so hard to live without you, and I can’t live without you much longer,” Harry told her. “Please. Come with me. Forget Malfoy.”
“I can’t,” Farah cried, removing her arm from Harry’s grasp. “Draco and I are a family. We have three beautiful children together, and we have the child I had with you, whom he treats as if she were his own. I can’t do this to Draco. He has no one else. Everything is finally perfect for him. His life has been so rough. And I refuse to do anything to hurt him in any way.”
“You have had more children?,” Harry asked.
Farah nodded. “A set of twins.”
Harry shook his head, his thoughts going back to the speech Farah had given earlier.
“And what exactly do you think my life has been? I lived all those years, Voldemort torturing me every minute. But you were there, and you made everything better. You can’t take that away from me. You are my strength. Please, don’t do this…,” Harry begged.
“I’m sorry, Harry,” Farah repeated. “But I swear, you can see Tinsley from now on. I’ll let you two have visits.”
Harry took her hand and kissed it. “I see that heart of gold of yours hasn’t gone anywhere…if only it would have mercy on me…”
“I’m sorry,” Farah said again. “I think it’s best if you leave for today…”
They both walked out of the living room and into the foyer of the home. Draco was no where in sight, but the twins ran by, chasing their puppy and giggling uncontrollably. Troy zoomed after them on his toy broom, making ‘swoosh’ing noises.
“I’ll be back next week to see Tinsley,” Harry told Farah.
Farah nodded, and Tinsley appeared having heard Harry’s voice.
“Bye, daddy,” she told him.
She gave him a quick hug and ran after her siblings. Harry smiled and looked back at Farah.
“Next week,” he told her.
She nodded and Harry opened the door. He stepped out of the house, his brilliant green eyes landing on her. As he looked at her, the color in his eyes seemed to fade a little bit, his eyes not as bright as they used to be. Sadness was now very visible. He waved a little bit and walked down the walkway, all the way until he was finally out of boundaries and able to apparate away.
Farah closed the door once he was out of sight. She leaned her back against the door, took a deep breath, and began to cry. She slid down the door, resting her chin on her knees and crying. This was all too much to bear. If she told Harry she didn’t love him anymore, why did she feel so sad for him? And above all, why did she seem to feel something for him?

| Chapter 3 Chapter 3
“Draco, come on darling, you can’t stay in here forever…,” Farah said softly.
She took the cup of Firewhisky out his hand and made him look up at her. “I understand you’re upset. So am I. But you need to be happy. Tomorrow is your birthday…”
His eyes searched her face. “So how did everything go…?”
It was night time, the dark blue skies studded with twinkling stars. Farah had finally got the nerve to go to Draco after she battled for several hours with her thoughts. She had already gotten the children to bed, deciding it was best to go to Draco last. She knew him too well, she knew when to give him space.
“Better than I thought,” she replied.
“My little solider, you are…,” he told her.
Farah smiled.
“Didn’t it feel odd to be around him, though…?,” Draco asked me, standing from his desk.
“Yes, but I thought about you the whole time, and it made everything a little easier…,” Farah replied. “Thank you for letting Harry come to see Tinsley…”
“You know I’d do anything for you,” Draco replied, looking down at Farah through his thick eyelashes.
Farah smiled. “And that’s why I love you so much…”
She gave him a soft kiss, making him reach for her hair, lightly running his hands through it.
“But I think you should repay me for it…,” Draco smirked. “Tomorrow is my birthday, after all…”
Farah smirked back up at Draco. “You have to learn how to behave first…”
Draco’s hands moved from her hair to the small of her back, pushing her close to him, kissing her fiercely. “You’re mine. I’ll do with you what I want.”
And with a single swift movement, not breaking the kiss, Draco picked her up, carried her down the hall, kicked the bedroom door open and closed it the same.
*****
“Happy birthday, my darlings!,” Farah exclaimed at her beautiful set of twins.
The children giggled loudly, and in unison, they both squealed, “WHERE ARE THE PRESENTS!??”
“It’s my birthday, too…,” Draco mumbled, crossing his arms at the fact that Farah was showering Knox and Onyx with attention.
The family was sitting at the dining room table, the room decorated for the celebration on Draco, Knox and Onyx’s birthdays, which all occurred on the same day. The room was lit up beautifully. Tinsley and Troy sat near, watching their siblings go crazy over the sight in front of them. Draco had turned twenty-nine as the twins turned five.
Farah shot Draco a sarcastic look. “Who is turning five again…?” she asked him.
Tinsley and Troy snickered as Draco crossed his arms. Farah threw Draco and wink, making him loosen up a bit.
Farah gave each of the twins all the gifts she and Draco had purchased for them. Not wasting any time, the twins ripped the wrapping off their many gifts, exclaiming what they got and showing each other their gifts. Afterwards, Farah gave them all a piece of the cake she had baked herself.
“Where is my present?,” Draco asked as Troy and Tinsley excused themselves from the table and each took off towards their own rooms.
Farah shot Draco a look and got up, helping Knox and Onyx out of their seats. “I’ll be back…”
Draco leaned back in his seat, watching Farah.
Taking her twins by the arm, she led them up to their room, changed them into their pajamas, and helped them into bed and kissed their cheeks good night. She then went up the stairs to the room she had given birth to Tinsley in, the same room she now used as a room to keep some of her belongings in. She grabbed the green velvet box she had hidden and began to make her way down the stairs. She walked all the way to the dining room and went in, hiding the box in her hands behind her back.
Draco was leaning back in his chair, his arms crossed behind his head. He sat up straight as soon as he realized Farah was back in the room. She walked slowly over to him, perching on the table in front of him. Her eyes locked with his.
“Happy birthday, Draco,” she whispered softly as she took the box out from behind her back and handed it to him.
He took it from her and opened it. Laying on white silk was a beautiful silver, old time pocket watch. He opened the watch to see all the hands moving properly, the face of the watch gleaming with diamonds. He turned the watch over, gazing at the back of it. He then noticed something was inscribed on it: You have my heart. We’ll never be apart. Our love is timeless.
Love you forever,
Farah
Draco looked back up at Farah, smiling sweetly.
“This is the best gift I’ve ever received,” he told her softly.
He rose from his seat, his hands going into her hair as he kissed her softly, thanking her for the gift. They pulled back moments later, his thumb running over her cheek as he looked into her eyes.
“Happy birthday, my love,” Farah breathed.
“You have my heart,” Draco told her, and he kissed her again. |

| Chapter 4 Chapter 4
The night ended sweetly with the couple talking late into the night. Draco had held Farah the whole time, and he had fallen asleep holding her. She woke up the next morning, still in his arms. She kissed him softly, knowing that it would wake him up.
“Good morning Sunshine,” Farah giggled.
Draco smiled and let go of Farah for a moment, stretching. He let out a deep breath and wrapped his arms back around her. He closed his eyes.
“Good morning,” he whispered.
Farah smiled at him, looking at his face carefully. She had always wanted to know the answer to an annoying question, but didn’t know how to ask. The question had popped back into her head as she studied Draco’s features. And since they had talked about so much last night, she figured now would be a good time. With that thought, she finally got up the courage to ask.
“Draco…why do you love me?,” Farah asked.
His eyes opened. He let out a chuckle. “What kind of question is that?”
“I’ve always wanted to know why you love me…,” Farah said. “I mean, what I want to know is, why you fell in love with me…”
Draco closed his eyes and took a deep breath and by the facial expression he made, Farah knew he was thinking hard of which words he should choose to use. He opened his eyes slowly and let them rest on Farah’s face.
“Love,” Draco began, “the word is an understatement. I’m not sure if there is even a word that can describe how I have always felt for you. A strong, firey burning? A certain longing with emotions so strong one feels as if they will burst? Nothing can explain how I feel. The very first day we met, that day on the train…you took my breath away. We were both only eleven. But so what? I knew I loved you the moment I laid my most unworthy eyes on you. Your long, glossy, chocolate brown hair cascading down your back. Your big, beautiful, intoxicating eyes to match. Your tan skin the color of caramel, the look that gave you the appearance of having sunbathed for months. Your long silhouette…the way you sat with your legs crossed and your nose in a book as if you had no care in the world, as if you had no clue as to how quickly I had begun to yearn for you. You were something out of a dream; an angel who had fallen from the heavens, whose beauty was so strong it should have been wrong. And then we began to talk and your words took me out of my insane life and into a world all our own. You laughed so freely and smiled so much. I had never seen anything so magnificent.
“And then we went to school…naturally your beauty attracted me to you. I didn’t want to leave you alone. Everything with you seemed so perfect. Even the air around you seemed so pure. My heart skipped a beat every time you looked at me or merely said my name. You listened to what I had to say, and you seemed like you genuinely cared about me, when I felt as if I had no one else in this world. You held such a passion for life, and I wanted to hold it, too. I wanted to hold you, to kiss your soft pink lips. To run my fingers through your hair. To care for you when you were sick. To listen when you needed to talk. To tell you everything was going to be just fine, even when it seemed your whole world was crashing down before you. I wanted to be the one you loved. I wanted you to love me the way I loved you.
“And then third year came along. You and I were both growing up, and growing closer than ever. We were experiencing the typical stages of adolescence. But then my world came falling down before me. Something had went wrong: you had gained a new person in your life. I had no idea what was going through your mind: I thought I wasn’t good enough. What hurt the most was when I walked into the courtyard and saw you kissing Potter. I felt as if someone had ripped my heart out and shred it to pieces. I wanted to cry, but I remembered I was a Malfoy. Malfoy’s don’t cry. So I withheld all my anger, rage and sadness. I tried to act happy for you on the outside when you told me of your relationship with Potter. But on the inside, I was slowly dying.
“We stayed the best of friends, you were always there. And then came six year. You supported me the most then, even though you were barely around. My father and the Dark Lord had put so much pressure on me. You were the only one who knew and understood what I was being unwillingly put through. You knew I didn’t want it. You knew I would have rather been spending time with you. But instead I had to keep myself away from you. That was my biggest downfall. The time I was away meant that that was time you were spending with Potter. You were growing closer than ever to him, and I was growing closer to insanity. Besides all of the pressure I was being put under to complete my task, I felt like I was losing you. That hurt me more than anything. But my family’s life and my own were at steak, and there was nothing I could do about it. I just had to suck it up and let my life break down before me. Not only did I not complete my task, but I also felt like I lost you as a friend. Seventh year, we spoke very little, merely just a ‘hello’ or a ‘good-bye’. Potter wasn’t at the school, but I knew he was with you in spirit. I knew our friendship had come to an end, and I had lost you when I needed you the most. I was so depressed.
“I graduated, and I immediately returned home. Father was on the loose, but not at our home. It was just me and mother. She knew I was depressed, and I knew it truly saddened her the way I moped around the house, only thinking of you. She tried to set me up on multiple dates with other Pureblood witches. But none of them were you. She ended up infuriating me so bad that I left. I hid out in many places.
“When word got around about your pregnancy, at first I was ecstatic. I knew you had always dreamed of being a mother, and now your perfect dream was coming true. But then I became angry. I knew no one else would be the father to your child other than Potter. I grew so angry that before I knew what had happened, I had completely trashed the home I was staying in. I had died on the inside. I cried, I got mad, everything. I couldn’t handle myself anymore. I never thought I could ever feel anything again.
“Then I got news my parents had died. They had been killed by the Death Eaters because they tried to leave the Dark Side. I returned home to the Manor, thinking I could settle myself down here and try to make something of the house. I remember I went into my father’s study and found a letter from one of the Death Eaters. The letter said that Voldemort was going to fight the Order in a couple of days. My heart fluttered and I felt as if I had come back to life, rising from my grave. Knowing you, I knew you would be there. I knew I had to go. I had never become an official Death Eater, but I knew I had to go and see you. I knew you had been far along in your pregnancy, and I knew as much as you wanted a child, nothing would stop you from fighting alongside Potter. You’ve always been the type to stay loyal to those whom you loved.
“So I began to plot. I knew I had to get you no matter what it took. I began to think of ways to get you alone, ways to get you unarmed and without Potter around. I plotted everything out. And after a couple of all-plotting days, I had my plan.
“The day of the war came and I was more excited than ever. I knew you would be there. You had to be. No one could find Potter without you at his side. When I arrived, the war was in full storm. People were dying, those alive were fighting death. I searched around, looking for you. After what seemed like an eternity, I finally found you alone. Luck was on my side. It was almost too good to be true. It was then that my plan didn’t matter anymore; I had you at the tip of my fingertips. Nothing was going to stop me.
“I ran up behind you before you even knew I was there. I grabbed you, and somehow Potter had seen me. He came running, crying | |
