"Granger, Me and Ginny are going to your common room, you both meet us there in 10 minutes." Draco said and before Hermione could answer, he, Ginny and a curious looking Jason walked out the Great Hall and to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"H-Harry, you go, I'll talk to McGonagall about this." Hermione said. She kissed him and ran off to McGonagall's office.

"Harry, what's going on between you and Hermione?" Ron asked.

"Professor, Rita must have been there to get that information! Because never, on my own and my siblings' lives would I tell anyone that!" Hermione said.

McGonagall read the article through again, briefly. "Miss Granger, I'm certain that Rita Skeeter wouldn't be in the room when we had that conversation."

Again, no-one believes me. Hermione thought. "Why don't you believe me?"

"I do, Miss Granger." McGonagall told her. "I just think that it's highly unlikely that she would've been here."

Harry walked up to the Gryffindor Common Room, where Draco and Ginny were. They hadn't realised he was there and Ginny said,

"I think I might get re-sorted. But I won't be allowed."

"Loony did and she's now in Gryffindor." Draco said.

Harry crept up to his dormitory and waited for Hermione.

An hour later, Ron came up, with an upset Hermione in his arms. This made Harry sit up and go over to them. Harry led Hermione to his bed and sat down next to her. She told him what had happened. Soon after, the trio, Draco and Ginny went to their first class. Potions and Ancient Runes.

"I'll meet you near the charms class after potions, hun." Draco told Ginny. He kissed her and then walked down to the dungoens with the trio.

Another hour had passed. Draco ran towards the Charms corridor. There was no sign of Ginny anywhere. He lingered there for another moment, but she never showed up.

"Ferret, what you up to?! You're missing transfiguration!" Ron shouted from the other end of the corridor, with Harry and Hermione behind him.

Draco walked up to them."Weasley, you're not gonna like what I'm about to tell you."

"What?" Ron asked.

"Your sister never showed up for class. She's gone missing. I've been here for ten minutes waiting for her. And you DID hear me tell her I'd wait here for her."

Ron grew pale. "We've got to find her!"

Dumbledore came towards them.

"I have a clue to where your sister may be Mr Weasley." he said and led the four to his office.

On Dumbledore's desk, they found Ginny's braclet that Draco had given her the previous Christmas.

"What's the braclet got to prove?" Harry asked, confused.

"There weren't any marks on them before, and she NEVER takes it off. The marks are finger print marks. Someone's taken her!" Hermione concluded.

"W-what? Y-You mean she's been attacked?" Draco asked, fearful of his girlfriend's life.

Hermione nodded.

"Miss Weasley has been a target of Lord Voldemort for a long period of time, as you know-"

"I thought that was over though!" Ron cut Dimbledore off.

"-we all did Mr Weasley, but she is in more danger now as she is closer to Mr Potter and Mr Malfoy. Which also means that Miss Granger is in trouble too. They're targetted and may or may not be killed by the end of the year."

"But there must be a way we can stop this happening, there must be!" Harry said.

"Harry, love, you'll defeat him like you always have done since you were 1 year old." Hermione soothed.

"I might not be as lucky. If you die then I won't live." he admitted.

"NO! Don't you dare speak like that! Don't you dare Harry! You know that won't happen!" Hermione told him firmly.

"There is a way, but I'm afraid I cannot say. You must find it on your own."

Harry, Hermione, Ron and Draco walkd out of Dumbledore's office and back to their respective Common Rooms. Hermione went up to her dormitory, got her quills, ink and parchment and sat down in front of the fire, starting on her homework. Ron and Harry, kept themselves occupied by playing Exploding Snap. Crookshanks snatched a matching pair of cards and set it down in front of Hermione and was ready to pounce. The pair of cards, however, exploded in front of her, making her squeal in surprise.

"RON!" she shouted.

"It was your bloody cat's fault!" Ron shouted back.

"Crookshanks would never do that! He's frightened of them! You shouldn't be playing that game where Crooksh-" she was cut off by Harry, capturing her lips with his. He broke away fro her and smiled, triumphant he had stopped his best friend and his girlfriend fighting. Hermione smiled back and returned to her studying.

The portrait door swung open some few hours later, and in stepped Neville, looking very white and pale. He was trembling, and looked as though he had just seen the Cruciatus Curse performed a hundred times over.

"Neville, are you alright?" Hermione asked. She got up from her position on the floor and went over to comfort Neville. Harry and Ron followed after her.

"B-Black ... T-torturing ... s-screaming ... a g-girl ... r-red h-hair ..." Neville managed to get out. He was clearly too frightened to talk.

"Sirius? Neville, Sirius is ..." Hermione looked at Harry. He nodded at her, telling her to carry on. "... dead."

"N-no ... y-you-kn-know-wh-who ... h-he's i-in h-here." Neville stammered.

Harry, Hermione and Ron went very pale. Hermione worse out of the three.

"H...Hold on..." Hermione said and rushed up to her dorm. She muttered a spell and pointed it to her stomach. Hermione didn't know what to do. She was frozen to the spot. Her wand tip had shone a soft baby blue. With the flick of her wand, the spell had stopped and she walked back down to the Common Room, her eyes glistening with tears.

She walked over to Harry.

"Mione, what's wrong?" he asked her gently. He wrapped her in his arms and held her

"H-Harry ... Yo-you're going to be a father ..." she whispered in his ear.

Harry's eyes grew wide in surprise.

"Really? 'Mione I'm so sorry." he whispered back to her. SHe had started crying and he caught the words 'Don't be.'.

awwww Harry and Hermione are having children....awww how cute...you know if Hermione was me...and Harry was Dan i would be soooo happy right now....if there is an update tonight chances are i wont be able to read it until tom...i have to baby-sit today...

Hermione cried herself to sleep and Harry lay her down on the couch by the fire. He conjured a blanket from nowhere and wrapped it around her.

What am I going to do? I can't force her to do anything, I won't force her. What if I'm not a good enough dad if she does go through with this and keep it? What if this child grows up hating me? These questions terrified Harry. He had to talk to Hermione when she woke up. He kissed her forehead and went up to his dorm. He fell on his bed and drifted off into an uneasy slumber, the thoughts and questions still plaguing his mind. Then a question struck him and his eyes flew open from a nightmare and the shock. He hadn't thought about Voldemort. If Voldemort were to find out about the baby, would he kill Hermione for sure? He reached over to his side table and put his glasses back on. He climbed out of bed and rushed down to the Common Room and the sight worried him. Hermione had gone.

Frantic, Harry searched the castle for her.

An hour later, he returned to the common room. Then it struck him. He hadn't checked the Hospital wing. Exhausted, Harry made his way to the Infirmary.
