Hey everyone! It's Tara back with my 37th FF here on SS! Woot! This FF is the sequel to my previous Harry Potter/Twilight FF, Moonlit Sun! Now to fully understand this FF, you must have read the other one, and Twilight. I hope you all like it! Enjoy!

Summary:
Draco Malfoy has been infected with a disease. Two, actually. Love, and the venom of vampire. Choosing to become a vampire was a task Draco didn’t take chances with. He knew what he wanted, and he begged until he got it. Malfoys always get what they want, right? Wrong! Since becoming a vampire, not only was he forced to endure the pain of being a newborn, but also the task of having to adjust to his new life. He didn’t know that changing was going to be this hard. Love makes people jump to conclusions, and is Draco sure that becoming ‘one of them’ is really what he wants?

Chapter 1

“I love you too,” I replied.

She stepped closer to me and I gently kissed her, my lips lingering on hers as I inhaled her scent for the last time as a human. She smelled so sweet, it made me want to lose myself. I didn’t want to forget this moment. Ever.

Fallon pulled back from the kiss and came closer to my neck. I didn’t dare flinch or back away, for I was too excited to even move. She moved her lips, as if kissing my neck, and all of the sudden, the whole world came crashing down around me. Everything burned and pain filled my body, running through my veins.

I collapsed to the ground, screaming in pain. It hurt so bad, the pain was indescribable. I wanted to die. Forget becoming a vampire, this all hurt too much.

“Jasper! Hold her back!” I heard someone yell, a man.

I opened my eyes to see Carlisle quickly bend down next to me and see both Jasper and Emmett pin Fallon to the wall. A look of rage was on her face, it scared the bloody hell out of me. Her eyes were black and she was raging, jumping and biting the air, trying to remove the grip on her like a hungry lion being tied down from its prey. She was snapping at the air and screaming ‘let me have him!’

Esme and Alice rushed over to help hold her back as well. Bella followed, and it was all the group could do to hold her back. Rosalie too joined as Jasper did something, and she slowly stopped moving, calming down quickly. The black left her eyes, and they faded until they were back to the gold color they originally were. I was too taken away by her sudden change in emotion to realize the pain I was going through.

“You’re going to be okay, Draco,” Carlisle told me. I felt like he was lying.

I jerked once and I felt all the air leave my body. It stung, and I thought I was going to die. Everything began to fade away as I heard Fallon down near my ear say, “I’m sorry Draco… I’m so sorry…”

Everything went black.

Chapter 2

I felt like a jolt of electricity shot through my body. My eyes had been closed for a very long time. Days, possibly. Months, even. The only feeling I had was the feeling of someone’s hand in mine. My eyes felt extremely heavy, but I slowly opened them. My vision was blurred at first, but slowly and surely, Fallon came into straight view.

“Carlisle, he’s awake,” she said, not taking her eyes off of mine. “I love you…”

She leaned down and softly kissed me. But this time, her lips didn’t feel like ice against mine…

“I love you too,” I choked, my throat burning.

“How do you feel?,” Carlisle asked, he too in my vision.

“Awful,” I replied, realizing I was still on the floor I had fallen on.

I guess they didn’t want to move me.

“Let’s move him into my room,” Fallon said.

“That’s a good idea,” Carlisle agreed. “Edward, Emmett, Jasper…”

Before I knew it, I was being hoisted into the air by four sets of hands. Emmett and Jasper were on my left side while Carlisle and Edward were on my right. I guess since I had gained more weight…

They carried me out of the room and down the hall. I heard someone open a door and I was being carried into a pitch black room. The curtains were drawn, so I couldn’t see anything around me. I felt them lay me down gently on something soft. I realized it was a bed. They all walked off and I heard Fallon tell them thanks, and then close the door. I heard her feet against the floor as she walked over to the window and opened the curtains slightly, revealing the night sky and moon. The light from the moon flooded into the room and I could see Fallon standing by the window in all of her breathtaking beauty. She looked over at me and made her way over to the bed. She laid down next to me, not saying anything at all. She leaned forward and kissed me softly, and I lost it. She was the reason I was here, enduring the pain. I loved her more than anything, and I was happier now than I ever had been. I quickly pulled her closer to me, pressing my body against hers. My hands went into her hair, her hands in mine. We could kiss as long as we wanted to now. We didn’t need air.

“You don’t--know how bad--I’ve missed you,” Fallon murmured in between kisses. “You’ve--been out--for almost--five months.”

I stopped kissing her and pulled back. “Five months?”

“Yeah,” she replied. “You gave us quite a fright. You weren’t supposed to be out like that for that long…usually vampires are awake when they go through their transformation. And the transformations usually don’t take that long.”

I looked into her eyes. “I’m fine, though, right?”

“Yes, of course,” she said quickly. “But we think, um, there might be something different about you.”

“Different?,” I repeated. “What does this mean?”

“I’m not exactly sure,” Fallon replied. “I think it might have to do with your wizarding heritage…”

“You mean, my blood?,” I asked.

Fallon nodded. “Carlisle doesn’t know for sure, but I think the reason it took you so long to transform is because of you having been a pureblood. I think you might have ended up with an unusual gift.”

“What do you mean ‘unusual gift’?,” I questioned.

“Well, sometimes when vampires are transformed, they are given a gift of some sort. Edward can hear people’s thoughts, Alice can see into the future, and Jasper can change other’s emotions,” she told me. “I wasn’t given a gift. But when I bit you, it somehow linked us. That’s how I’ve been able to make these predictions about you.”

“What exactly is my power?,” I asked.

“You don’t have one specific power,” she said. “You can do everything. You have every power possible. Your wizarding pureblood reacted with my venom and caused you to be indestructible. You can do anything you want. You’re unstoppable.”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I looked into her eyes one more time. She smiled one more time at me.

“I really missed you,” she whispered.

“I missed you too,” I replied, taking her into my arms, kissing her again.

Chapter 3

I looked over at Fallon. I felt extremely weak. And I had no idea why. It had been a little over a month since I had been reunited with Fallon. It felt so good to be back with her. But being a vampire was hard. It made me have sudden urges to latch out at humans. The Cullen’s learned to keep me away from them. So I had been cooped up in the house for what seemed like an eternity. Thank god Fallon had decided to stay with me.

“What is wrong with me?,” I asked Fallon.

She looked at my eyes. “You’re thirsty. Hadn’t you noticed that you’re eyes are now black instead of gold?”

“Um…no…,” I replied dumbly.

“Well, it means you’re thirsty. But we’re going hunting right now anyways…so it’s going to be fine. Once you get some blood, you’ll be better than ever,” she said.

For some strange reason, just the mention of blood made me more intense.

Carlisle came down from his study. “Are you two ready to go?”

Fallon nodded, but I asked, “what about the others?”

“We don’t all go hunting together. We go in groups. We learn it’s better that way…,” Carlisle answered.

I didn’t want to ask why it was better that way, so I just nodded.

“Since you two are still newborns, it’s better for just I to go with you two. We don’t want to get anyone hurt…” Carlisle said.

I nodded again and before I knew it, we were out in the woods. I had no idea where. But my vampire instincts kicked in, and I automatically knew what to do. Fallon and Carlisle were no where in sight. I continued through the woods until I smelt blood. I followed the scent and it led me to a large deer. I quickly latched out at the animal, sucking every ounce of blood from its veins. Once I was finished, I let its carcass fall limply to the ground. I felt so much better already. It felt so good to let the animal’s warm blood flow through my cold body. I could almost feel my eyes lighten to a dark gold. But I still felt thirsty, so I continued on with my journey. I could smell blood again, and this time the scent led me to a coyote. I attacked the animal, drinking it clean of any blood. Once I was finished, I felt all the strength I possessed back into my body. I felt strong again, my senses stronger than ever. I could hear voices, and I followed the sound. Carlisle and Fallon were standing together, both finished hunting.

“Do you feel better?,” Fallon asked, both she and Carlisle looking at me.

I nodded. “I feel great.”

“So how was your first hunt?,” Carlisle asked.

“It was fine. I feel much better now,” I answered.

“As you should,” Carlisle replied. “Now lets get home…we’ve been gone for a while, and I’m sure the others would like to hunt…”

Fallon and I both followed Carlisle home. Once we arrived, all the others questioned me about my first hunting experience. Edward seemed the most curious. But then the others soon left to go hunting, Carlisle going along to chaperone. Now only Fallon and I remained in the house.

“Is this what you thought all of this was going to be like?,” Fallon asked me.

I automatically knew what she was asking. “Not really. I guess I never really pictured what it would be like to be a vampire…”

“So you never imagined the hunting or anything?,” Fallon questioned.

I shook my head. “In school, they didn’t really go over the subject of vampires, you know that. Snape said it was because they weren’t allowed to. The vampires have formed something of a secret society, and wizards are only allowed to teach what they think vampires are like. So we never learned about this kind of stuff.”

“Not even before I came to Hogwarts?,” Fallon asked.

I shook my head again. “No. There are some things they couldn’t teach us. I guess the life of a vampire was one of them…there was a rumor that ages ago, a teacher taught their students everything about vampires. Somehow a vampire clan found out, and they attacked the teacher, killing him dead. So none of the teachers have been brave enough to touch on the subject since. I presume it’s just a myth. But no one really knows…”

Fallon nodded. “Do you miss your old life?”

“Never,” I said. I pulled her close to me. “I’m here with you. And I’m going to have you forever. I’d never possibly want to go back to the way I was before.”

Fallon smiled up at me. “I’m glad.”

“And I’m in love with you,” I told her, kissing her.

“I love you too,” she replied, kissing me back.

“We’re back…,” I heard Edward say.

I pulled away from Fallon’s embrace and threw Edward an annoyed look.

“Ahh, a little public display of affection…,” Bella smirked, standing next to Edward.

“It wasn’t public…and besides, we thought you all would be gone for a while…,” Fallon said.

“Edward and I weren’t that thirsty, so we came home sooner than the rest,” Bella replied. “But we’re going to our room…continue on…”

Edward and Bella disappeared down the hall, and I looked back at Fallon.

“Welcome to my life…,” I heard her mutter.

Chapter 4

I could smell something faint in the air, a rather peculiar smell. Carlisle had just gotten home from work; he was a doctor at the local hospital. Why? Don’t ask me, I don’t understand either.

“What is that smell!??,” I demanded, Fallon sitting next to me.

She looked back over at me. “You probably smell the human blood on him...”

“Yes, I delivered a baby today…the mother nearly bled to death…quite scary, really…,” Carlisle announced. “I thought I cleaned up good enough. I guess not…”

“I can smell it too…,” I heard Jasper say.

“Carlisle, darling, it might be best if you go clean off before everyone goes insane…,” Esme advised.

“You’re right…,” Carlisle replied and he disappeared quickly.

He appeared moments later, the scent gone from him, thankfully.

“Where are Bella, Alice and Edward?,” he asked.

“They went back to Forks to visit Bella’s father and that disgusting dog friend of hers…,” Jasper answered.

“Jasper, be nice,” Esme said.

“Who is her dog friend?,” I asked.

“His name is Jacob…he is a werewolf. He and Bella are good friends…,” Carlisle answered.

I nodded. “But I thought vampires and werewolves didn’t get along…”

“They usually don’t. But before Bella was transformed, she was a human and had come quite close to Jacob, as they have known each other for practically their whole lives. So she still tries to see him when it’s best for him to have company,” Carlisle said.

“Alice is particularly fond of Charlie, Bella’s father, so she tagged along. And of course Edward had to go and supervise. So that explains their absence as well,” Esme said.

I nodded. There was so much to learn about all of this.

“I feel dumb for not knowing much about all of this…,” I said aloud.

I meant it, too. I thought I knew everything about vampires when I was human, but it’s true I didn’t!

Carlisle chuckled. “Don’t feel bad, Draco. In due time you will know as much as the rest of us. You’re still a new-born after all. There is only so much you could know. But don’t worry. I believe you will make a fine addition to our society. You’ve already proved yourself worthy by winning Fallon over.”

His eyes flicked over to Fallon and he gave her a fatherly wink.

“It wasn’t hard for him to win me over,” she said, leaning into me.

I grinned.

“Why humans attract us, I will never know…,” Carlisle wondered aloud.

“I’m just happy they do…,” Fallon murmured, and I could hear the smile in her voice without even having to look down at her.

Chapter 5

Several months passed, and I was either in the house or out hunting. I couldn’t go near humans yet, for Carlisle was worried of how I’d react to them.

“Come on, let’s go outside…,” Fallon said.

I stood up and followed her outside. She nodded at Esme, as if telling her where we were going. I closed the door behind me, and I followed Fallon down the hill and through the woods to a beautiful, open meadow. The sun didn’t shine too bright, but just enough to not hurt us and to cast a beautiful, golden glow. Fallon grinned at me, and had I been a human, my heart would have skipped a beat.

She sat down. “I love being out here with you. Everything is just so beautiful…so perfect.”

I sat down next to her, pulling her closer to me. I kissed her softly. “I know.”

I closed my eyes for a moment, but then a strong scent began to overcome me. I twitched my head a little, and the scent became stronger. Fallon smelt it too. She stood up and yelled, “ESME!”

As soon as she did, a small, human girl came into my view. She was picking flowers from the vast fields. I felt my eyes darken, and I lost it. I began to run toward her, Fallon trying her best to hold me back. I was snapping at the air like a wild animal. I wanted to hurt her, to attack her, to kill her, to drink her blood. I wanted it so badly. I knew it was wrong, but I yearned for her blood.

“RUN!,” Fallon yelled at the little girl. “RUN AS FAR AWAY AND AS FAST AS YOU CAN! IT ISN’T SAFE HERE!”

The little girl looked at me and her eyes became huge, and she burst into tears right on the spot, too frightened to move.

“Boys, you get Draco. I’m going to get the child,” I heard a frantic voice say.

I looked over to see Carlisle run over and sweep the little girl up and run fast and far away with her. Jasper, Emmett and Edward all ran over to me, helping to hold me back as I snapped at the air. I felt myself weaken under all the strength, and soon, I couldn’t smell the child anymore. I collapsed in a heap on the ground. I looked over at Fallon, and I could see a tad bit of hurt in her eyes. But it all flickered away as she looked over to Esme and say, “I’m so sorry. I thought he would be fine…I didn’t think anyone was going to come. I’m not even sure where that little girl came from…”

Esme pulled her into a hug, patting the back of her head. “It isn’t your fault, darling…we all thought it was safe, too…”

“Come on, let’s get him back to the house…Carlisle is getting rid of the scent and he said he’ll be back at the house soon,” Edward announced.

The boys all lifted me up and began to carry me to the house. Fallon, Alice, Esme, Bella and Rosalie all followed next to them.

“I’m sorry,” I said. “I’m so sorry…”

“That was the most awful thing I think I’ve ever experienced…,” I confessed to Fallon once we were both alone in our room.

She tucked her legs underneath her as she sat down on the bed, motioning for me to lay my head in her lap. I willingly obliged, letting her run her fingers through my hair.

“You’re still a newborn, it isn’t your fault…,” she told me.

She somehow got over the feeling of being sorry, but I hadn’t. I felt so helpless, even though I didn’t end up actually hurting the girl.

Our eyes locked, and Fallon said, “it’s fine, I promise. All vampires go through that stage. It doesn’t mean you’re weak. If you hadn’t had your gift, it would have been even worse. You knew you were in the wrong, and that’s why even when the girl left, you let it all go. Other vampires would have ran after her. But since you have that indestructible gift, you were able to stay where you were. Your mind told you that you were wrong, and your gift helped you hold it all back. You did amazing. Carlisle was really proud that you held up that well.”

I didn’t understand why he would be proud of me almost attacking a child.

“Don’t worry, Draco. Everything is okay,” Fallon reassured.

I closed my eyes and I felt Fallon kiss both of my eyelids.

“I hope you’re right…,” I replied.

Chapter 6

I battled with myself over what had happened with the girl for a long time. I could NEVER forget the look on her face. It made me feel awful. Like a monster. And Fallon could sense it. So she tried to comfort me about it.

“Draco, I really wish you would stop worrying about that girl…,” Fallon said.

She ran her hands over my shoulders and rested her head on my chest. We had been sitting outside by the creek, watching the water float by.

“I’m sorry,” I replied. “It’s just, I feel like a monster now…like I don’t even know what I’ve become…”

“You’re not a monster,” Fallon told me. “You’re kind, and caring, and loving, and everything I ever wanted you to be.”

I thought for a moment. “Do I make you happy?”

“More than anything in this world.”

“Do you love me?”

“Let’s just say I will die before I will stop loving you.”

“But Fallon, you’re never going to die.”

She leaned up and kissed me softly. “That’s exactly my point.”
