“I’ll show you hormones You bloody GIT!” Ginny shouted at Draco as she pushed her wand against his chest. With a small movement Ron pushed Ginny’s wand down with one finger.

“Calm down Gin, He didn’t do it.” Ron took a deep breath and let it out in a sigh. “Actually I kind of owe him a debt of gratitude.” The mere idea of owing Draco Malfoy shook Ron to his very core.

Ginny looked from Ron to Harry with confusion in her eyes. Sitting down on the arm of Harry’s chair she looked at Draco through squinted eyes. With a brief wave of her hand she said, “Well Malfoy? Out with it. What’s your angle?”

“Hermione dear! How lovely of you to stop by with my gorgeous granddaughter!” Molly said as she scooped up Minerva into her arms. Hermione smiled at her loving Mother -in-law.

“Well Molly I wish it was for better reasons. Would you be terribly put out if I asked you to mind Minnie for a bit? I need to get back to Harry’s house.” She said in a hurry, though she didn’t want to be a part of it, she didn’t want to miss a second of Draco explaining himself and his actions. Molly looked at Hermione with concern written all over her face.

“What has that boy gotten himself into now?” Molly asked with obvious fear in her voice.
Hermione simply shook her head. “I’ve no idea, and I’d like to get back to the house so I can find out why there is a Goyle and a Malfoy sipping tea in the Potter’s sitting room.” Molly’s eyes widened at the mention of the death eaters’ names.
Closing her eyes and shaking her head slightly as she cuddled Minnie close to her bosom she said, “Very well, leave her here until that trash is out of his home. Don’t leave Ginny and Harry alone with them, Neither you nor Ron should leave them. I Don’t trust them as far as I can throw a cat!” Molly said with a shudder. Hermione nodded and hugged Molly, gave Minnie a small kiss on the forehead ; With a loud Pop she was gone.
“Well Minerva Molly Weasely, lets go see what your Pop-pop is doing in his workshop.” Molly said to her cooing granddaughter with a sigh.

“…And that is why I decided to go to the ministry.” All eyes were on Greg Goyle as he finished giving his reason for turning against Lucius Malfoy.

“I can’t believe he killed your mum and your wife right in front of you…” Ginny whispered as she wiped a single tear from her cheek.
“I can’t believe it was because you hit Harry with that spell instead of me.” Ron whispered. As if he didn’t feel enough guilt for Harry getting hit with that curse, now he had the blood of two Goyle women on his hands.
“Yes well, it turns out I said the wrong words anyway didn’t I? Gave you extra powers Eh Potter?” Goyle said with a shake of his head. Looking toward Draco he said, “No wonder I was always your bumbling sidekick at school, I can’t even get a simple hex right.” Snapping his head back toward Ron and Harry he practically shouted, “Not that I wanted to kill you! I was just following orders!”

“Yeah yeah Goyle, we know what you were doing.” Harry said with a half smile. “So Draco, why did you…?”

Hermione gently tugged on Ginny’s hand and pulled her to the kitchen. She had done some research as to why Draco may have hated his father, and she had a feeling that Ginny wouldn’t be able to handle it at the moment.

“Well Potter, after the Dark Lord fell I went to live in the muggle world for a few years. I was in this small town in the states living a quiet life. I met a girl… Monique. We fell in love. Real love, not just infatuation. She was completely Muggle, but when she found out I was a Wizard she was fascinated. When we decided to marry I lied to my father, I told him that she was a witch in hiding, but she was eager to return to England.” Draco ran his hand through his shiny blond hair. “ We were married for a year when we decided to come to England. She was so excited to be leaving the US. Pregnant with our first baby we decided to move back before she gave birth.” Tears were in Draco’s eyes as his voice cracked. “When we showed up to my parent’s house so they could all meet… He opened the door and immediately hit me with a stupefy curse. He… he knew. He said he would have nothing to do with a filthy muggle and that no grandchild of his would be a mud blood.” He brushed roughly at the tear on his cheek and cleared his throat obviously embarrassed by his show of emotion. “ He levitated me in my stupefied state to the field at the back of our property so I could watch… There were at least a dozen death eaters there in a circle. They stunned her…They stunned my beautiful loving innocent Monique.” He could no longer hold back the tears. “There was a knife… and so much blood. They ripped my son from her lifeless body, they killed him too.” He shuddered against Goyle’s shoulder and then pulled back trying to regain his composure. “Helping you was just a side effect of me getting my revenge. Every last one of them will pay for what they stole from me.” Draco whispered in a cold tone. A voice that shook Harry to his soul.

Wow, G. You said dark but I never expected that. It was so sad it made me cry. Poor Draco. Poor Goyle. It was sad but you showed why the death eaters are though to be bad, bad people. Because they are. This story is amazing, Lady.

Im kinda feeling sorry for Malfoy for how his father acted towards his wife and baby, but im glad Harry gave them the chance to explain.

Holy cow!! It was quite graphic and very dark but I loved it all the bloody same. Yes that's what I'm talking about a little bit gore never hurt anyone.

“Hermione Weasley! If you don’t tell me this instant why you dragged me from my own parlor I will hurt you!”
“Ginny, will you just calm down? Really, you must learn to get a hold of your emotions or you’re going to hurt that baby!” Hermione shook her head at her sister-in-law. “Now sit down and have some tea. I’ll explain to you why I didn’t want you to hear what Draco had to say…”

“Alright Malfoy, I’ll cut you a deal. I won’t turn you in to the ministry on one condition.”
Draco looked up at Harry with confusion in his eyes. “I just told you my father murdered my family and you’re trying to cut me a deal? What the hell is wrong with you Potter?! You think I fear that bloody ministry? I could take them all out with a single flick of my wand if that was what I wanted!” Draco was shouting, his pale face turning a bright crimson. Ron stood up angrily and knocked down his chair in the process.

“Malfoy, do yourself a favor and hear the man out. Trust me it’s a better option than what I want to do to you, and I don’t even know what his offer is.” Ron was angered that they were sitting sipping tea with one of his oldest enemies. He righted his chair angrily

“Right then, now that all the testosterone has been displayed I’d like to make a proposition.” Ginny said as she re-entered the room. She had obviously been crying after hearing Draco’s plight. “Harry, you will go to the ministry and tell them that you have Draco in your custody, but because of so many death eaters wanting him dead you think it best that he live I hiding until we can figure out if we should award him or punish him for killing that murderous swine with which he shares genetics.”

“Yes that is what I was thinking myself dear.” Harry gave his wife a broad grin. “Now we’ve just got to find him a safe house…”

“He will be staying here.” Ginny said without blinking. “Gregory, you are allowed to go home whenever you like since you were helping the ministry when all of this happened. Of course you are welcome to stay for dinner. We’re having pot roast, and bread pudding for desert.” Ginny left for the kitchen with a smile on her face, completely deaf to the protests of all the men in the room.

“You’re wife is bloody mad! I am NOT staying under your roof!” Draco shouted so that Ginny could hear.

“Actually Draco, she’s a genius, and the minister of magic agrees.” Hermione said with a smile as she waved a letter in his face. “This just came by owl.” Hermione began to read.

“Dear Mrs. Potter,
Thank you for alerting me to the whereabouts of known criminal
Draco Malfoy. I don’t know if I should lock him is Azkaban forever,
or shake his hand for ridding the world of such a horrible excuse for
a wizard. I am in agreement with you that Mr. Malfoy should stay in
the custody of your husband Mr. Harry Potter. No one would
suspect that he is staying with his childhood nemesis. I trust
the both of you more than any guards of a prison.

On a personal note, I hear that congratulations are in order. Things
have been simply mad at the ministry and I haven’t been able to
properly congratulate you on your expected bundles of joy.
Best wishes to all of you! Do not hesitate to contact me personally
if that Malfoy character gives you any trouble.”

“Etcetera blah blah blah. Minister of Magic.” Hermione said folding the letter gently and placing it in her pocket. “so you see Draco, you have no choice but to stay here with the Potters. While Harry and Ron are at work Ginny and I will be here to guard you. As for your wand, that will be kept under lock and key at our home.” she gave Draco a smile as she watched him squirm. She didn’t like to anger people as a rule, but he had made her life so hard when she was a girl it was nice to not be on the receiving end of it for once.

Turning to Ron she said, “Now Mr. Weasley, we need to go get our daughter and then come back for some supper. I promised Ginny we would help her finish all that bread pudding.”
Ron just shook his head at what had happened so suddenly. “I’ll go get her Mione, you help my sister, I need time to figure out what just happened.” with that Ron dissapparated.

“Hermione, may I read that letter?” Harry asked with an odd look on his face. After browsing through it’s contents he hollered into the kitchen. “GINERVA POTTER! Get out here!” He was sweating a bit with a strange look in his eyes.

“Lost control of the little lady eh Potter?” Draco said chuckling.
“Shut it Malfoy, this has nothing to do with you at the moment.” Harry hissed as his wife appeared in the doorway.

“I’ll thank you kindly not to speak to me that way Harry.” Ginny said with venom. “I just did what I thought was right. Draco was a criminal, but he’s saved my brother’s life, and countless others by ridding the world of Lucius Malfoy.” She was tired and it showed on her face. Only half way through her pregnancy and she was already big as a house and completely exhausted.

“No Ginny, it’s not about Draco. What is this about our “Bundles of joy”?” Harry asked with a squeak.

“Harry, you know I am pregnant. People call babies “bundles of joy.” Duh.” Ginny answered with a nervous chuckle.

“BUNDLES Ginny… He said BUNDLES! Not Bundle of joy. PLURAL!” Harry was nearly shouting.

“Oh that.” Ginny said with a nervous smile. “I just found out today that we aren’t just having one baby.” She ran her hands through her hair and looked at the floor. “I had to tell someone and it didn’t seem like the right time when you came home with Draco and Goyle, plus you were hurt. How on earth was I supposed to tell you we’re having triplets?” she gave Harry a sheepish grin.

“Tri…triplets?” Harry squeaked as he fell back into his chair , tiny beads of sweat forming on his forehead.

Hermione looked at Harry and chuckled. “Need a glass of water Harry? It is important to keep hydrated after all.” She had a gleam in her eye that spoke volumes. Harry shot her a look that made her realize he wasn’t quite ready for that kind of joking. “Right then, I’ll just see to the pudding ...” Hermione mumbled as she fled to the kitchen dragging Draco by his sleeve.

“Lay off Granger!” Draco yelled out as he was being dragged.
“It’s Weasley now Malfoy, now lets leave these proud parents be.”

“Oh, do forgive me Mrs. Weasley” Draco said with all the sarcasm he could muster as he sat at the kitchen table.

“Draco, I layed you out once, don’t make me do it again.” Hermione replied cheerily as she sampled the bread pudding.

“Yeah yeah, I’m at your mercy. Why the hell do I have to stay with Potter? You know this won’t end well.” He was pouting like a petulant child. “I don’t want to be around …her.”

“Who Ginny?” Hermione was suddenly confused. “What on earth do you have against Ginny? I mean more than you have against Harry?”

Draco ran his hand through his greasy hair and sighed. “ I don’t want to be around a pregnant woman alright? It’s not like I can look at her and not think of my Monique…” His voice broke and he brushed away a tear looking away in shame. “Why can’t they just send me to Azkaban?” he whispered.
Hermione sat across from Draco with sadness in her eyes. “I’m so sorry… I know that isn’t enough. You’re better off here than Azkaban, Death eaters may want you dead, and Merlin knows there are plenty of them there. Harry put at least half of them there.” She gently touched Draco’s hand. “I know this will be hard, especially when I bring my daughter around, but it is the safest thing for you right now. Believe it or not Malfoy, but we all care for you. We owe you Ron’s life.” She murmured.

“Harry, I’m sorry you had to find out this way.” Ginny was shaking. Harry still hadn’t made eye contact, but his breathing was finally becoming normal.

“How? How did this happen?” He finally whispered.
Ginny flushed bright red. “Harry, I think you know how this happened.”
Blinking a few times Harry finally looked at Ginny and smiled. “Three? We’re going to have THREE Babies!” He jumped from his chair and wrapped his arms around his very pregnant wife and kissed her. Dropping to his knees he hugged her around the waist and whispered to the lives growing inside of her. “Hello little ones, I’m your dad. I helped make you! No fighting in there now! We want you to come out nice and healthy.”
Ginny ruffled his hair and chuckled. “Alright now Potter, they are sleeping and I am famished. After all, I’m eating for four.

The Potter household was bustling that night. A small group of friends sitting around the table eating a delicious dinner. Toasting Harry for being so “manly” and giving Ginny three babies. Toasting Ginny for being brave enough to carry three Potter babies on her tiny frame. The dinner was fabulous, even with Ron shooting nervous looks to the corner of the room every few minutes. Luckily he trusted his wife’s judgment.

“It’s alright Minnie, hush now and drink your bottle.” the baby gurgled smiling up at the now familiar voice. “That’s right darling, Uncle Draco is here.” he cooed at the perfect baby girl in his arms. She was just the salve he needed for his broken heart.
