Hmm... house points hourglass. How in heaven's name did he end up here? He could have sworn he'd gone DOWN some stairs. The dungeons were down and that's where he'd set up his office. Now, why couldn't he find it again? It was first year all over again! Professor Bontecou groaned and looked around, wondering when someone would come along so he could ask for directions... or better yet, an escort.

Lucas had on his green hardhat with a small light attached at the top and it was on as he walked the darkened corridors just exploring. He had a pencil and a journal to record all the fun things he found. He was watching a slow moving warm with little legs and a fuzzy body when he came upon a Professor who seemed to be lost. Lucas switched off the light on his hat as he walked over to him. He pulled on his robes to get his attention. "Um excuse me sir." he said timidly. "Are you lost?" He asked.

Lucas giggled. This man was fun and he made him laugh. Luke loved to laugh. "I was exploring. Like Dora the Explorer does, she goes everywhere with her backpack." He told the man with a smile. Lucas looked around well of course the man wasn't lost. They were both standing by a giant hour glass that already had some red rubies in it. Lucas' hand shot in the air and he was jumping up and down. "I know where that is." He said excitedly as he pulled his book out of his backpack. He has seen a red spider by the potions office earlier. "Its right here." he said pointing to the simple map he had drawn. "Is that where you want to go?" He asked him.

"You can have my map." Lucas said. "I can make another one." He offered. He didn't like being lost and he didn't want to imagine how a big person would feel being lost. His eyes twinkled at the thought of getting to play with the man's toys. He could put some color into his map and maybe get some moving people on his map! "We can make a map together. So you will find your way everywhere." Lucas told him. he liked being helpful. His mother called him her little helper afterall.

"I can draw really fast too sir. It won't take us two year to make a really good map." he said proudly. Lucas scrambled after the man when he turn to head back into the main part of the school away from the potions office where he said he wanted to go. "Sir we are going in the wrong direction." He said. He didn't know if the man really wanted to go to the potions office or if he just wanted to explore. He turned on the light on hit hat. "Are we exploring now?" he asked.

Lucas saw a very pretty witch walking past the hour glass. She didn't look happy. Not happy at all. Lucas smiled up brightly at her. "Hello professor." he said hoping his smile would brighten her day.

Lucas giggled. The man was not lying about his sense of direction. It was dreadful. "Yes sir, the potions room is back that way." He said swinging his light back down the dark corridor. "But we can just explore like Dora does if you want to. I can get us back to the potions room when we are done." He said hoping the professor wanted to go exploring with him.

He cowarded when she glared at him. "I won't tell anyone I promise I won't" he said trying to hold in the tears before she yelled at him.

Lucas looked up at the professor. You never tell a girl they didn't look that old! He spent enough time with his 11 aunts to know that. He didn't know what to do. He usually ran away when one of his aunts was about to blow. Big girls scared him. "Professor," he squeaked out. "I think that it just says how pretty you are that you look better than most of your students." he said trying to get him and the professor out of hot water. He pulled a chocolate frog out of the front of his jumper and offered it to her. "You can have this." he said.
