Kat had always been awed by the grandeur decorations at Gringotts. Standing just inside the large silver doors, she took in the breathtaking displays and words for a moment before she would make her way over to set up her vault. Now that she was officially staying in London and had finally secured herself a job, she would need a place to store her money.

Personal vault first, one for business later, as it was needed, Kat had decided on her walk over here.

Knowing what she needed to do in mind, the young [and new] shopkeeper made her way into the main hall area to arrange a consultation with a goblin.

Riley-Jo was exploring her new place of work, taking in the sheer majesty of it all. The high walls, the marble, the cavernous rooms. It was all she could do to not stand and gape at it. There were a lot of big, old, important buildings in America, but none of them could compare to this place. Walking in to Foyer, she saw a familiar face wearing an expression very similar to the one Riley-Jo must have been wearing. She walked over to her roommate and gave her a little nudge. "Hey there, Kat!" she said in her charming southern accent. "Are you here to open your new account?" she asked, smiling at her. This was Riley-Jo's job, after all, to help direct people to where they needed to go.

So much for approaching the goblins in the main hall, as before Kat had a chance to take two steps forward, she heard someone calling her name. Whirling around on the spot - which took talent and experience in heels - she lit up at the familiar blond head of her roommate. "Ley! What are you doing here?" she asked, shaking her head in confusion. After all, just yesterday, Riley-Jo had been looking for work. "I mean, yes, I guess I am opening a new account, since the one I used like 14 years ago has probably been closed up." And if she was going to be living and working - as of a few days ago - here now, she would need a place to put her earnings.

Riley-Jo smiled her pretty, perfect pageant queen smile at her roommate as she wheeled around. "You could pass as a pageant girl turnin round in those heels like that," she said with a warm laugh. When Kat explained why she was here, Riley-Jo gestured through the doors further down. "If you just go right through those doors to the Main Hall, one of the goblins can help you, darling," she explained happily. She could definitely do this job.

Her roomie was FUNNY! Her? A pageant girl? Unbelievably hysterical. Snorting, which Kat knew to be completely unattractive yet it was a bad unbroken habit from her brother and his friend, she poked her tongue out. "Yea? And what pageant would this be for? Most likely to fall on face from twirling too much in heels?" Nodding at Riley-Jo, as she explained where to go in opening - or perhaps reopening - an account, she blinked and did a double-take as to whether it really was her roommate. Knowledgeable for someone who recently came over from the states.

"Yes, thank you, but you never really answered my question," Kat started again, before she scuttled off to the main hall. "What are YOU doing here?" As in, shouldn't you be off someplace looking for a job?

Riley-Jo's warm laugh rang through the foyer, her hand held over her heart as she chuckled. "You're just too funny, Kat," she said, looking at her roommate. When she asked, though, what Riley-Jo was doing there, Riley-Jo pulled herself up to her full height all aglow and smiling her most infectious, bright smile. "I work here now," she said in her charming southern drawl. Though on the outside, she was completely composed, on the inside Riley-Jo was jumping with excitement and pride. This was her first job, after all, and that was a really big deal to her.

It was always best to visit the bank without her older brother in tow, Hunter Bones decided. She wanted to deposit her pay check, and Tolliver always ALWAYS wanted to make a withdrawal.

And try on his lucky socks just once to make sure there hadn't been a strange intrusion of moths into their vault.

She paused in the foyer and patted her pockets once, checking for her key and her galleons. Yup. All there.

Riley-Jo looked around as another woman entered the foyer, then she turned back to Kat. "Excuse me, Kat" she said warmly before prancing her way over to the new woman, her feet lining up perfectly one in front of the other as she walked. When she got near her, she smiled at her warmly, "Hi there!" she said in her charming southern accent. "May I help you find your way, miss?" she asked with her twinkly beauty-queen smile.

Oh. Ummm. Hello, quite friendly person. WHY DID SHE HAVE SO MANY TEETH? Really, really. Lots of teeth.

"Hi... I need... to visit my vault, actually." Hunter patted her pocket once again to show that she had her key and was one of those good sorts of bank patrons who put money INto the vault, instead of taking money out.

Riley-Jo nodded her head at the woman and gracefully gestured toward the doors on the other side of the foyer. "If you go through the doors into the main hall, one of the goblins will be more than happy to take you to your fault, ma'am," she explained, her southern drawl becoming particularly evident on the ma'am. With another kind smile, she waited for the woman to continue on as she didn't exactly seem to be in the mood to be sociable with Riley-Jo. Maybe she'd find out where she worked and invite her over for a nice cold glass of lemonade sometime.

"Oh, thanks!" Hunter gave the girl a mock salute before heading in the direction indicated. "I appreciate it. So sorry for interrupting your conversation."

Though Riley-Jo could tell that she was being treated in a manner that was quite possibly intent on spite, she just continued smiling her dazzling white smile and maintained her composure as she always did. "Oh, don't you worry about, you weren't interrupting a thing. This is part of my job, after all," she said warmly as the woman exited.

OOC: Might be a little bit before the goblins can RP with you. Bit of a glitch. The new forums are still hidden from those accounts. I'm waiting on Conner to get on so I can tell him. Whoops!

As she gently pushed open the doors to Gringott's Wizarding Bank, Lexi Carlton felt...well, a little more mature than she'd felt before. Despite the fact that she'd been an official adult for ten years now, she'd never gotten around to opening up her own banking account. She'd just stashed whatever money she did have in her parents vault.

Now that she'd been hired as a professor at Hogwarts, though, she needed something a bit bigger...as in, her own vault. A whole vault all to herself---which would sadly still hold just a small amount of money. Still, though, she hoped to one day have a lot more saved than she did now, so...her own vault it would be! Once she got inside the bank, she stopped and waited for someone, goblin or person, to assist her.

Sophie made her way down the foyer. It was fairly early in the day and she needed to check the market before she started her way. There was a buzz overseas about Goth Saints and she needed to follow it up before she even thought about passing it on to anyone of their clients. Glancing at her watch, she knew she still had a few hours before the market would open.

Just as she looked up again, she noticed another person in the foyer. Walking toward the woman, she smiled. "Hello there," she greeted the woman politely. "Is there anything I can help you with today, miss?"

Lexi had been a little lost in thought when...some woman...approached her. She blinked a time or two then gave the woman a confused look. What had she been saying? Oh, wait---yeah. "Oh, ...hi there! I'm here to see about opening up a new account, please," she said with a smile. Thinking back to how distracted she'd seemed a few seconds ago, she gave the woman an apologetic look. "I'm sorry I seemed so distracted a minute ago. I had my mind in a million other places."

Like the Alumni Ball at Hogwarts, for instance. Should she put all the money she'd brought along in her new vault, or should she save some of it for a new dress? Hmm...

Sophie smiled and watched the young lady. She did look a bit lost, but that wasn't all that uncommon. Confused and lost looks were a norm here at Gringotts. "It's okay, I tend to get rather distracted myself." she replied with a small laugh. "I understand completely, my mind is always in a million places through out my day." Thinking about it more, she was pretty sure her mind was in a number of places at the time already. But focusing her thoughts back to the task at hand, she smiled. "But that is neither here or there, you were saying you wanted to open an acoount? Well, if you enter the main hall one of the goblins should be able to set you up with every thing."

Glancing at her watch again, she smiled. "If I remember the correctly our vault manager should actually be in shortly and she'll be happy to help you for sure."

Egypt was utterly tired. She really was. Nathan had finally moved back home and the family had been partying the entire time. Granted everyone was happy and she was over the moon about it. She was finally sleeping in her own bed, but no one was sleeping. The kids were up playing with their dad all the time and Nathan was cooking up a storm, but she didn't want the fun to stop. Everyone had been missing Nathan and they were all glad about it.

She pushed open the door to the bank pushing the twin sized buggie. Ben and Devon were almost 5 years old but it was too much for her to try and keep track of them. And the fact that they were faster than the human eye could see was also a factor. The bank was busy and she needed to open up a new family vault and she would have to speak with a goblin. She pushed the buggie up to the queue of other wizards and waited her turn.

As Loreali stepped into Gringotts, she felt slightly older than she was. Sure she was still young but her parents had always taken care of this sort of thing. She had thought they opened her an account but apparently some issues had happened so here she was to open up her own account at Gringotts. Pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, she waited on a goblin (or a person) to assist her.

The blue eyed man was not in a hurry, which was a good thing since clearly there was a crowd. In the entrance foyer? Alright. He paused to hold the door open to the main hall, gesturing for the two female customers who were waiting, one of whom who had a buggy with young children in it, to enter the main hall in front of him.

Was there a party in Gringotts which Mozzie was unaware of? It was unusually busy as she made her way into the bank. A shiver caressed her shoulders and she shrugged deeper into her pea coat. Why did January have to be so cold? Grey skies were dreary enough, but the frigid air and the cutting, icy wind made everything worse. Wool thigh-high socks could only cut the chill so much.

Rubbing her numb fingers together, she peered around the foyer. So many people! But decidedly not a party - no food nor music. Plus, Mozzie couldn't imagine a party in Diagon Alley taking place beneath her nose. Mozzie prided herself on being pretty epic in the party department.

Once she found herself suitably warmed up enough, she made her way towards the main hall, to seek an attendant to take her to her vault.

Busy today. Leon noted this as he held the door, standing in place politely as if he were a simple doorman. Once the women had passed through, he entered the bank proper himself, he had work to do.

Daphne's red high-heels made quite the racket as she ascended the stairs to Gringott's. She loved wearing those shoes, even though they were uncomfortable, because they announced her presence everywhere she went. She pushed open the heavy door and slid into the foyer. In her hand, she held a small purple pouch, containing her coins. She finally was ready to get her very own vault, separating her from her family and parents. She was very excited to get this freedom.

Reese hasn't exactly visited Gringotts since she graduated from Hogwarts, but, then again, she didn't really visit much of Diagon Alley since she graduated. She had spent most of her time at the recording studio doing nothing much argue with her agent and trying to get soem music created. It was more of just arguing, which led to her breaking her wand... and ending up working in Sugarplum's. She wasn't complaining, though. It was Sugarplum's SWEETSHOP. As far as she was concerned, she was working in the coolest place in Diagon Alley; she didn't think anything was better than a sweetshop.

She opened the door to the wizarding bank and stepped inside, not knowing what to do next. One year away from this place and she already forgot how things worked.

Lexi just laughed lightly when the other woman mentioned her mind always being in a million places throughout the day. Now that was something Lexi could relate to. If it wasn't Charms class or homework, it was Invitations Committee meetings and Alumni Ball preparation. It was a wonder she ever found a decent amount of time to come and open a vault.

She nodded in reply when the woman pointed her in the direction of the main hall, the area where a goblin would apparently help her set up the vault. Ohh, goblins---Lexi never really knew what to think of the creatures. Sometimes, they scared her, but then there were times when they seemed so very helpful and...somewhat...friendly. "Mmkay, thank you," she said.

The Entrance Foyer was getting pretty crowded, so Lexi didn't waste much time in moving on. She smiled and nodded a thank you to a man who held the door open for her. "Thanks," she said, just before stepping through.
