Dragon's Lair

Nestled deep amongst the highest security vaults is the most prominent of the numerous creature lairs under Gringotts bank. This particular one is notable because it has a rather large dragon in residence. The Dragon in question is a rare hybrid, a cross between a Chinese Fireball and a Hebridean Black, is about 28 feet long from tip to tail and closely resembles a Liondragon save for its scales are coloured black, making it doubly hard to see in the gloom.

Like a Chinese Firedragon, it tolerates other dragons in the tunnels, the Hebridean Black's desire for a large range having been bred out of it. It has bright purple eyes and its tail is tipped with an arrow-shaped spike. She developed a taste for Goblins, a few having found themselves in her presence on feeding day. But the clankers are enough to keep the cart goblins, and the cart's other occupants safe.

... most of the time.
