So, go ahead and use this thread to introduce yourself to all the other Neville fans! I'll start:

My name is Lissy, and a long, LONG time ago I was the president of this lovely fan club. Neville has been my favorite character for as long as I can remember and I am so excited to mod this club and share the Longbottom love with all of you! I'll be here to basically make sure things are running smoothly and to help you guys with any suggestions I may have, but your officers pretty much have free reign over most of the club business. I'm currently 21 years old and studying history somewhere in the great state of Illinois. I'm also BIG into RPing so if you ever want to RP, or just chat, feel free to poke me!

Hi everyone I'm Sarah. I am a freshman in high school and a competitive dancer, I take dance classes 6 days a week. So I am generally on SS in all of my free time. I never really admired Neville until the fifth book because I found him just to be that dorky boy in the background. But, he really turned out to be my hero. So I must say that Neville is awesome and rocks. So, you would be unwise to not join this awesome fan club

I'm Liz, and I have been on SS for over 4 years now. I am activities officer here (NLFC), and I am both one of the presidents in the EWFC and the HGFC as well as the Activities officer for the DRFC, and the secretary for NTFC, and graphics officer in the SSFC. At the moment I'm a stay at home mom of 4, and homeschool my youngest who is in 1st grade.

I love RPing, and have my own site and join many others just for more RP time lol. I like doing graphics and playing games also. In my spare time I do a lot of beading and have a shop here on SS even where I show off the HP stuff I make! I also love to read and do a lot of writing. I'm hoping to start a novel soon. I also do a lot of photography and scrapbooking.

Neville I adored, he was such a sweetie young wizard when he first came to Hogwarts, and by the end of the books his character was totally awesome! He certainly surprised me by the end!

Hey guys! I'm Lulu and I'll be Neville's deary Secretary I've been on SS for almost three years and have been addicted since. My hobbies are mostly photoshopping, tumblng, RPing, guitar playing, writing and so on. My love for Neville mostly started in the Order of the Phoenix when I noticed that he was much more than the quiet kid in Gryffindor. Now I'm proud to say that Neville is now one of my Harry Potter heroes of all time!

Hello fellow Neville Longbottom-ers! I'm Jess, and I live in the weird weathered Australia. I'm an odd ball who finds weather fascinating so I love to talk about it one of my missions in life is to see snow! Any kind of snow. And to travel to the coldest living place on Earth.. hmm and Antarctica possibly. I just can't wait to travel around the world.

So, about me? I'm in my last year of university, studying to become a Registered Nurse. I just love making that difference in peoples lives when seeking care. I currently work in a Paediatric (that's children, not feet) Hospital and I absolutely LOVE it! When I graduate, and finish my graduate studies, I would love to find a place in Paediatric Oncology and Palliative care.
I love SS because I have met some pretty awesome people here, and I have SO much fun RPing around the different places on the site, especially Hogwarts. I love writing as well, I've completed my 100 drabbles, currently writing another set, doing my 50 drabbles, and have 2 FFs on Hermione, and James Potter I also looooooooove to read; Harry Potter, Paullina Simons, Jodi Picoult, and heaps of one-off novels too.
Plus plus I absolutely love movies especially horror ones.

Neville, hey? I think I always thought he was the cute little character, friends with Harry Potter. I didn't give him that much attention until he really started getting his confidence up in the 5th book, because that showed me that he really valued his friends. Hello hello, Madame here!

I always like Neville, even from the very beginning. I think he doesn't get enough credit for things he does in the books/movies until about the 5th. I suppose that is when he really starts to shine, though.

At the midnight showing of Deathly Hallows part 2, at that crucial scene where Neville has Godric Gryffindor's sword and the snake was there, I found myself saying, "Kill it, Neville! Kill the snake!" out loud. lol

One thing I was totally bummed about is that he didn't end up with Luna.... THEY WERE SO CUTE! But... JKR knows best when it comes to her characters, oh well. I was happy, on the other hand, to know he got a teaching position at Hogwarts.
