I guess I'll start this thread. We all know matthew's character has been growing in strength and confidence throughout the series. How do you see him in the last book. Also, do you think Matthew will keep acting after the series is over. What would you like to see him do?

I think Matt will do well in drama, I just get that feeling. He has done a few TV soaps and other guest appearences so we know it's not out of his range. If he does do anything else, and I hope he does, I'll be behind him 100%!!!

I agree, I believe Matt could go far in both tv and movies. I think he'd be better at movies, don't know why though, just think so. It'd be cool to see him though as a guest on an american tv show, since i'm not british and don't get british tv.

I wish i could get more of the British TV Channels!!! I get the BBC, but that is definately not enough!

I'd love to get any British channels but I only get free to air TV. We do get a lot of British TV shows on ABC (Australian Broadcast Company. Channel 2) and they're fantastic! a Lot of them are comedies.

I'll have to watch that some time when I'm not ready to run out the door and leave.

I'd actually love to see some movies from these guys so I can see them outside of HP. I know Clemence has made many movies, and her's are the ones I'd love to see the most. She's brilliant.

wow...thats alot!

I just finished watching a great movie with a lot of our actors and actresses in it. Sense and Sensibilty starred Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson, but it also included Gemma Jones and I could sware I saw Robert Hardy as well. Of course it also starred Kate Winslet and, oh Lord, what's his name......it's on the tip of my tongue....
Well anyway, it was well worth watching and I absolutely loved Alan's smile!!! You really don't get to see it in the HP movies due to his character....but what a BEAUTIFUL smile he has!!! Oh, it was Hugh Grant I was thinking about back there...I knew it would come to me....anyway, I highly recommend the movie!!!!!!

Also, Sleepy Hollow (with Johnny Depp) has a lot of HP characters:Michael Gambon plays Mr. Van Tassel. Miranda Richardson plays Mrs. Van Tassel. Richard Griffiths plays Magistrate Philipse. And Tony Maudsley plays Van Ripper.

If you'd like to hear a little snippet of Matthew "chatting" with and introducing podcasters, I'd recommend you give PotterCast a go. They've had a Matt snippet at the start of their shows lately (Very amusing )) and I'm sure there will be more to come. The last show was the reappearacne of this as the Matt bit didn't feature for a few weeks as they had a live podcast from Cali and a special Filk podcast. He's back though and WONDERFUL!

I think this deserves it's own post. There have been some wonderful pictures of Mark Williams as Arthur (DUH! LOL) on the OOTP set. It is the part where he accompanies Harry to the Ministry of Magic.
