This is a rather simple question, but I think it could provide some interesting discussion.

If Voldemort lived today, what do you imagine the world would be like?

Feel free to elaborate on this question in any way, how it would affect the world in general, how it might affect you personally, anything you would like to contribute.

I think that the world would be in danger of being destroy because with the equipment that is in the world now and voldermorts evil powers there wouldn't be much we could do to stop him taking over.

Life would not be too rosy for many witches and wizards. I expect that servitude would be the norm for many, as there are few Purebloods around. Merlin knows where the children of non-Pureblood families would be schooled. Those that are well connected, would probably have benefits not given to those on Voldemort's 'black list'. If they even survived...

I don't think there wouldn't be a world left he'd press the big red button either that or he'll start a fight with everyone he could.

I don't know, but I'd think that in another part of the world, some other arch-villain-wizard might want to fight him for world dominance. We know about England's Dark Lord, there might be others...

I guess you're right..but not only arch dark wizard...may be some one like dumbledore may stand against him...and maybe again a great battle...you kno0w history repeating it self like grindelward and dumbledore...

Wizards will roam the world freely. and muggles will be into hiding - which is the other way around in the case of the Hp books and movies. Or perhaps they will make muggles performers for fun, like in circus and the likes. Or perhaps, as slave or something.

Well if Voldemort lived today then he would have succeeded in his campaign I would think that wizards would rule the world. I think thw world would be a dark place and sort of like a police state. I mean obviously he simply can't just kill all the muggles and the half and halves and I don't think that was ever his intent. I think he wanted wizards to be on top and for himself to rule. So I think muggles would be second class citizens, the servants and maybe even slaves you know.

I'm thinking he would maybe give sections on the planet to his top people. Well like Snap, Bella, Lucius. I can't seem him really giving that job to anyone else. He gave the smart jobs to those three and other DEs got all the grunt work and the underbelly jobs you know.

But yeah I'm thinking it would sorta be like Sin City you know. Just dark and a scary place to be if you weren't a wizard.

Well, Global warming is becoming a bigger issue and with Voldemort there wouldn't be much we could do to stop the end of the world unless we all joined him. We would most likely have to somehow find a Harry Potter to fight with us since we are all muggles. We, the muggles, would basicly all be dead because we aren't magic folk and we wouldn't be able to help the Dark Lord that much except in killing people but we wouldn't be able to use magic for that so it would be VERY difficult to kill a witch or wizard.

If Voldemort was alive today, I'd like to think that he would not have been very powerful. As the only way he'd reamain alive was if Harry spared his life. So, I think he'd be in hiding trying to build up his army again with the whole pure-blood mania thing. But, I don't think he'll get too many followers this time round. As the wizarding world's defense definitely got stronger, and they're not blindsided anymore. He'd find it real tough to build his army again.

if he still lives today.. I assumed that he's still plotting how to kill his mortal enemy, Harry. But maybe if he changes, He can be good.
