Hi everyone! I've created this thread so that members can have a say in what kind of activities we have here at The Graveyard. Do you have any suggestions as what we could do to rouse member activity? Something that everyone would enjoy and participate in? Any suggestions at all, please let us know! Perhaps it'll give Linda some ideas that she didn't have before and it'll give us an idea as to what you guys want out of this little club of ours. So speak up! We won't be able to hear you unless you say something!

PS--This is going beyond what kind of *games* you want to see. I'm talking about activities like scavenger hunts, fanfic contests, things like that. Josh's good to go on those! But anything else, please let us know!

I was thinking about that too, Sarah, as I wrote it and how interesting it would be. It'd definately take some planning but we'll see what we can do!

Can you elaborate on that competition, Evy/Sarah? Would it be like a "duel" between the DA and the DEs in graphics of fanfic or both? Sounds intriguing regardless!

I'm thinking like games, fanfics, graphics, posts, a quidditch match between us, quizzes, and things that invole the whole crew like a scavenger hunt! Between the the DA and the DE. Kind of like a battle...*the final battle* well not the final one if everything goes well then maybe we can do it again.

Sound like fun? The only thing is that if your a member of both groups then somehow we have to choose sides and stuff. Plus we may need some more members, because last time I checked they had a whole wack of em...hehe

*shh don't tell anyone evy nut i've never organized a thing in my whole life. Well thats not specifically true. I did organize a game of Survivor when I was in 6th grade.

I love that idea..(though I think you stole it from my mind)..I gave this idea to Mad eye touz weeks or maybe months ago..that we could have some kind of matches and stuff between forums like
Lord voldemort Fan club vs. Albus DUmbledore Fan club
Death eater fan club(as a separate thing) vs. DA fan club
and similiarly others like Harry potter F.C. vs. Draco Malfoy F.C. and...James potter/SIRIUS BLACK F.C. vs. Severus Snape F.C...and then the winners could have the same/different kind of competition..lets see..I hope the mods agree..by the way..what is the scavenger hunt..as I just joined 2-3 days back I don't know..

Considering the LVFC and the DEFC are now one club, we'd be participating as one club and wouldn't separate ourselves. But I like your idea, Harry. It sounds like some sort of tier competition between the clubs but that would involve some very large scale planning that pretty far out of my hands. Your best bet would be to bring that idea to Touz or Mamush again and see what comes of it.

Thus far some pretty good ideas we've had is some sort of competition between us and the DA and a scavenger hunt. There's nothing planned with either thus far and I won't be able to start planning until AFTER the 18th because I have to move and Nabs isn't around for a couple of weeks. I can come up with some small ideas in the mean time as how the scavenger hunt can be pulled off and just what kind of competition can be held between us and the DA but I can't make any major moves until after I move.

What I meant by DEFC and LVFC separately was..that all our members could partcipate from both..and as for the DAFC vs. us ..we could have a quiz or something..like ask DAFC members really tough questions obout Lord Voldemort and the death eaters..and they could ask us really difficult questions about DA and its members..or we could also have some type of quidditch match or something..but can someone please tell me what the scavenger hunt is about

Sis: We won't be separating clubs so those that want to participate will be doing so as a joint effort. Most of the members from both clubs are now part of this one club so participation would be as an effort from The Graveyard since neither the DEFC nor the LVFC exist as separate entities anymore. And everything that there is to tell about an implied scavenger hunt has already been stated. There's nothing else to say about it at this point.

I've seen this game in Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. The game is called, "Don't be Silly, everyone knows..." Basically, you state a fact about one of the Death Eaters such as "Bellatrix was the Dark Lord's right hand woman." The next person would then say something ridiculous in response, such as "Don't be silly, everyone knows that Bellatrix loves muggles and would never hurt a flea." Then they put a statement about a Death Eater, and the next person responds with the "Don't be sillly" statement again, saying something ridiculous and putting up another statement, and it goes on and on. This would be "Don't be Silly, everyone knows... Death Eater style!"

I'll think up more ideas later, this is just a start!

What about Dark Arts Bingo? Despite it not requiring a whole lot of thought, it really isn't much of a post-count increaser b/c we could always set the rules that you're only allowed to post how many you have to date, no chatting and only 1 post per day (assuming one word would go up each day.)

Or if that doesn't suit your fancy, perhaps a game of Voldemort is My Master, where you have to state a fact about LV or DEs or the Dark arts of some kind, except for the 0s and 5s.

Regardless of the game we put up, I think it would be beneficial to have a fourth game up and running sometime soon!

how about a curse game!!like virtual quidditch??
edit:the game actually:one of us start firing curses at the other and ther other posts that he ducks like
A:A shouts"stupefy at b"
B:B ducks and fires back an impediment jinx at A
C:The curse hits A and C fires the cruciaters curse at B!
like that you know like virtual quidditch and then after every 500 or 1000th post we can have a winner!!

101 Reasons: I know it is technically "reasons," but I like the idea of maybe 101 Things the Death Eaters won't do/say in public. Sissa had a similar idea mentioned in the Suggest An Activity thread (tho it wasnt for the 101 Reasons specifically)... if we only want REASONS, then maybe 101 Reasons for Voldemort to grow his hair back? Or for Lucius to get his cut? LOL! Game Idea: I thought that a game called 'crucio' would be fun. basically a different kind of avada kedavra...You'll see the difference. Take for example:

1. Lord Voldemort. 100
2. Bellatrix Lestrange. 100
3. Severus Snape. 100

Each one of them will start with 100 points. This time when you take one point off, it's either to torture them for fun or to get them closer to 0. The first DE to get to 0 will be the winner and will be considered the most tough of the list. You only get to crucio 1 person. If you don't like wormtail, you can just crucio him for the fun of it. If that seems too much like avada kedavra then forget it.

Acitity Idea:i thought maybe we could have 101 secret weapons of the DE...something creative like..
1.Make The DA wash Snape's Hair
2.Make Lupin sit for a day with Lockhart......

Game idea-ok this one i thought maybe the person who conducts the game will post a dialogue and we have to guess the character who said it.
