Bee! You're in Nashville! How do you like it? My family was thinking about going there next year, but I think we might be going to New Orleans instead. Is it nice there, and is there a lot to do?

Bee - I think Nashville sounds nicer than Memphis. I was there on my vacation last month and it was interesting, if you like the blues and Elvis. Those are the two major things there. I know Nashville is very big on country. I would've like to have combined the two cities.

Well we're on an Elvis Presley tour so it was part of it, after visiting Tupulo. I'm not particularly bothered where I go, as long as I have internet access and no chance of beink killed by a Tsunami or Volcano lol.

Nashville is a LOT nicer than Memphis, although some of the streets in Autumn there are pretty gorgeous. Nashville is just more...me. It's music oriented which I adore and people stop to compliment you on the street *blush*

Bee, we did the Elvis tour when we were in Memphis! It was kind of interesting, especially seeing those jets that he owned and all the jumpsuits, and hearing about all his eccentricities, love of peanut butter and banana sandwiches and that sort of thing. Sun Studios was good, too, and the Beale Street tour because that's blues music. I agree with you, though, I love tours having to do with music.

Well, glad you are enjoying yourself! This is a good time of year to visit those areas!

I'm back home now. Gah...I have jet lag like you wouldn't believe. I spent half the day on planes, the other half on coaches *yawns and curls up into a ball, snoozin'*

I'm inside too but my windows are a little drafty and my fiance doesn't want me to turn on the heat yet!! UGH!! So i'm wearing several layers and wrapped in blankets and drinking tea.

I'm with Sissa on moving to a warmer state - but I think I'll stay on the east coast and move to Florida! I have family there Although, I have family in California too... so I guess that's an option too!

Tiffany - It's freezing here in Northern California! I had to turn the heat on tonight for the first time since I can't remember! Guess it's cold everywhere.

I figured out why it seemed really cold yesterday - it was really windy and the wind was blowing the cold air into my apartment. Today the air is much more still and though its not much warmer in terms of temperature, I'm quite comfortable! (Although I'd still rather be in the Caribbean )

Aww... silly fiance, you just make him keep you warm because supposedly that is why men were created And tea is always a good thing, IC - Blaylock would love you for it.

Now i must be getting better, because I am freezing. So cold in the apt! - *goes to get wrapped up in some more layers and a blanket.

I wouldn't want to live in a different country, but visit - most definitely. It is my dream to travel the world, but I have a good ways to go since I haven't done much yet

I totally want to travel the world too, but first I want to start with visiting all 50 states! Then I want to go to Australia & Fiji, and tour Europe too. Maybe China and Japan, India and Egypt, South Africa... oh boy! The list is endless!

Yea, planes are boring - that's why I sleep! I slept almost my entire flight to Hawaii - it was like 10 hours with my layovers and stuff. Nice long nap

Or you can take a cruise! My fiance and I did that when we went to the Bahamas and it was awesome! Best vacation ever!

I tried to sleep on the flight home but I had some woman in front of me crushing my knees with her chair. In the end up, I just gave up and placed my feet on top of her chair and took off mah shoes. That got her moving again

I don't like Boats. I have a fear of large bodies of water, so floating atop one wouldn't work for me. I had a panic attack just getting on the Ferry to Calais with school a couple of years ago *dies*

Planes are terribly boring, but at least they're fast! I don't know if I could stand it taking a long bus or train trip, though I suppose you get to see a lot more that way. I like to get where I'm going FAST!
