Just to let everyone know, my contest is extended till July 31, to give more people time to enter and to work on the FF submissions, as well. I feel it is most important we get that finished in time. Attention Fanfic Writers!


Can you write a fanfiction? Can you write at all? Do you consider yourself creative? If you can put pen to paper then we need your help. We need writers for the fanclub fanfiction that we're working on. All we need is a chapter per person. This is supposed to be the final book written by the entire club so I'd like to get everyone involved! If you think you can crank out a chapter for us, take a look in the Fan Club Fanfiction thread, see what we have and then let us know what you can do. Anything would really help us out!

New Co-President Named!


That's right, you head correctly. We have a new co-president! Everyone take the time to congratulate Tom Marvolo Riddle for being our new co-president. Yay! That also means...


New Officer Position Open!


Due to Tom's promotion, there is now a secretary position available to be filled. If you're interested just send either myself or Tom a pm explaining what you would do in the secretary position, how you would organize things and what you would contribute to the club. For those of you that aren't sure just what a secretary does, you'll basically keep a transcript of everything that goes on in the club, the discussion topics that we do, the activities, give suggestions, things like that. It's a support role for the presidents. So if you're interested, send in those pm's and remember, we still have two other officer positions open as well as noted above (and on the previous page)--Promotions Officer and Graveyard Guru so if you're interested in any of those be sure to send in those pm's!

Welcome Back!


I just wanted to welcome everyone back to the club! Just a few reminders, we're still accepting applications for the Promotions Officer and Secretary positions so if you're interested, read back a few posts (because I'm just too lazy at the moment to hunt them down and cut and paste myself) and see if you're interested.

The spoiler ban has been lifted for fan clubs but, as you may have noticed, you need a password to access them. This is just to prevent people from stumbling into a discussion about DH and having it spoiled and not meant to inconvenience anyone. Remember, not everyone has had the chance to finish reading the book yet so please afford them some respect and abide by the rules. A few extra clicks never hurt anyone. Feel free to discuss Deathly Hallows in here. I'll create a new thread for such discussion.

Also, for those of you waiting to hear back about their Official Death Eater Application, I'll be getting to those this week. I'm a bit behind on them, what from my vacation and all but don't worry. You'll have then before the end of the week.

Also, gaining an officer position in this club is earned, not asked for. The appropriate way to obtain an officer position is to read through and watch this thread for officer information and submit an application as stated in each open position post. Your submitted application, however, does not guarantee a position. Please, do not ask for an officer position. It won't get you one. If you're really that interested, follow the steps needed to submit an application should anything be open. All officer positions, open and closed, are always announced in this thread.

We are seeking a Games Coordinator. The qualifications? That you be active in the club and keep a close eye on the games that we have going, make sure they stay active, all the scores are correct, etc. It's a big plus to recommend new game ideas as well, something we're always open to. The Graveyard Gazette is about to shut it's doors due to my inability to work on it due to lack of time and lack of interest. If it up to you to post your discussion (following the tpoic title layout from previous topics) and it is also up to you to keep your discussion active. This is meant to get members more involved with the club itself. So, unless you have a little "done" edited into your post, your topic hasn't been posted yet so keep checking back to the thread to see when you can post your topic. I'll send out a reminder pm a couple days in advance to let you know that your date is coming up and if you haven't posted it by the 8th day of the month, we'll post it for you but it's still up to you to keep the thread active. Check Out The Autumn Harvest!


If you haven't seen it already, check out the sticky thread labeled Autumn Harvest! In there we have a slew of activities for everyone to participate in that will run through Halloween. We also have a lovely game of Clue RPG featuring your favorite Death Eaters. Want to find out who killed Harry Potter? Go ahead and see if you can put all the clues together! We're also slating for a super secret mission set for the end of October. Nop, no specific dates! If you're interested, you're going to have to contact me for more information! Then, on Halloween, everyone gets to go Trick or Treating in The Graveyard! September and October are going to be filled with pumpkins and leaves and spooky things so take part and enjoy!

So, yeah. For whatever reason I've been thinking that we're only allowed to have 3 games when, in reality, it's 4. So there are currently four games open and I believe we shall be cycling one out rather soon. So yeah, that's 4 we can have, not 3. Dur.

The Graveyard is currently seeking a new Promotions Officer to pimp out this lovely club. Your only requirement is to be ready, willing and able to shout out from the rooftops how great this club is. Think this is you? Then send in your request to either myself or Tom Marvolo Riddle. We'll put our heads together and appoint another great officer!

2nd Officer Position Open!


A Graphics Officer position has just opened up for anyone that's interested and wants to help us out in the graphics department. Obviously owning some kind of graphics program and having a knowledge of graphic-making is necessary along with being able to create graphics for the club, run graphics contests in conjunction with Linda Black, our Activities Officer, and basically just keeping us chock full of lovely graphics! Most importantly, you need to be active! That way if we need you, you're readily available! You will be working with Bombalurina, our other Graphics Officer so if you're interested, send a PM to either myself or Tom Marvolo Riddle with a mention of your graphic-making experience, perhaps a sample or two (not necessary though) and the name of the program you use (just as a point of reference, it won't bear any weight on whether you get the position or not and the better program you have doesn't mean you're a shoo-in for the position). So get those applications in!

Don't forget we also have a Promotions Officer position open as well so check out the previous post for more information on that.

Autumn Harvest Extended!


The Graveyard's Autumn Harvest has been extended to this weekend. Make sure to have any and all entries to the contest in to Linda Black no later than midnight PST! After that the doors will close on it!


New FC Competition!


The fan clubs are having a new competition amongst themselves called Who's Your Idol? Check out the thread here for more information. Hopefully everyone will participate and make Snitchseeker's Number #1 idol none other than Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters!

Yeah, I know. I'm a little slow in announcing this. I've been sick. Sue me. Our wonderful original sponsor, Nabiya, has had to step down but two new co-sponsors have bloomed in her place! Funny how that works. Please extend a warm Graveyard welcome to lemondrop13 and LadyNerd! You have already recognize LadyNerd as being the fan club administrator and I do believe lemondrop13 is new to the mod game. I may be a bit behind on that one too so please forgive...
