Did You Think That The Gobet of Fire Was a Bit Rushed?
I think that it was. Post your comments here about how it was, or was not, rushed, and why it was rushed or not rushed!

Yes, I thought it was rushed because all of a sudden I saw the Quiddich World Cup, next thing I know it's the train arriving at Hogwarts. Then it goes from the introduction of the new schools, DADA class, names being put into the goblet and then the names are spat out. Then it goes to ferret scene and then to the Tasks the Yule Ball occured and then it was over; the second task seemed to come and go and then the Third Task led right up into the graveyard and then it was over. I was annoyed about it but I still liked it.

Um... I don't think it was so rushed. I mean, alot of thing seemed out of place but it just builded on each other.
As for the person above...Those are the main points from the book, we all know the movies can't be exactly like the books. Most details had to be left out.

Some of the scenes had to be cut out.

I HATE it, but that;s the way it has to be in order for the movie to make a lot of money which allows the other movies to be made.

the beginning was rushed... but i think this what just because they really need ed to get to the important stuff that was happenign at hogwarts... althought i wasnt happy about it.. it woulda been hard fitting all that in a 3 hour movie... i think they did a good job of it.. tho i woulda liek to see sum of the QWC.. not just them introducing the players and then totally fliking past the game.. i yelled in the cinema wen that happened.. i wanted to see bulgaria kik irish booty

Yes, it was very rushed. Anyways I think it's quite difficult to make a movie based on a book so detailed as the Harry Potter's ones... There are a lot of things that cannot be added unless you want to see a very very long (no problem for me though)... but maybe they could have added a few more things so people who had read the books wouldn't find it too rushed...

Yea It Was Rushed.. But It Would Have Been Hard To Cram 38 Chapters In This Movies Because They Would Get Any Time To Do The Ootp Which Is The Follow Up To The Gof

It was bound to be rushed.......i mean,it is the longest books of all the HP books yet is'nt it?the book is some 600+ pages and the movie script is only 120 pages!!See how much of the book is compressed to the movie!!Moreover.......the movie producers first thought of making the movie into two parts........but i still feel they concentrated on more of the "essence" of the book instead of the whole book!even POA was rushed in my opinion........better GOF than POA......in that case.......as the dialougues are not swapped between the charecters like in POA where hermione says Ron's line!

Well, it wasn't exactly rushed... it jumped a bit from one thing to another, but we know that is because they couldn't fit everything in from the book the film. I still think it was absoutely brilliant, best one so far definately. And I think it would be sooo boring if it was exactly the same as the book.

When I first saw it I thought it was rushed, but it had to be in a way because it was a long book....also I was too busy comparing it to the book, that I wasnt really all that impressed with it............
But I wanted to give it another chance and I went back to see it again a couple of weeks later and did not analyze it, that I really enjoyed it and thought it was a great movie.......
So if anyone feels the same way, I suggest that you give it another try and you will find that you will actually like it

I think that yes, it was a bit rushed, especially at the Quidditch World Cup and at the end when they were supposed to explain how Barty Crouch Jr. got out of Azkaban and stuff, which I thought would have been really neat. But it was still good; they had to rush certain parts to make it a reasonable length.

i think it was rushed. i see how they had to sort of rush it because its a 700 sumthing page book and they cant fit all that in a 2 1/2 hr movie. but still it was a great movie.

It was a bit rushed...their excuse is that the details couldnt fit.
I say there was enough money to make the movie longer...I wouldnt sit and watch crap for 3 1/2 hrs..but I would if it were HP4:Goblet of Fire!

Ya it was rushed, one minute its the Quidditch World Cup and next its gone, but it was bigger than usual movies, and we cant blame them, they cant put a 636 book in a movie. Its too hard, they have to delete things.

it was really rushed. and they never really finished explaining some of the stuff up. my friend told me that he met this lady and she had no idea what was going on in the book but that was because she didn't read the movie. they introduced all of these things but never really quite explained what it was there for. i don't mind that they had to cut out a lot of things, but they could've at least made the mmovie a bit clearer for people who haven't read the book yet.
