Katie Lueng (sp?),I've read has never professionally acted before...so this is her first major role. I say we give her a chance to prove herself and go from there.
If she's any good they'll bring her back (and not some look-a-like) in OoTP. | |

I don't care how she acts.I've been so anxious since the 3rd book to see her in the movies.I can't wait  .And yes,I think that her dad payed the producers because out of all the other Cho wanna-be's they had to pick someone that is inexperienced and that seems a little suspicious to me. | |

I'm not going to say she's good or bad. I've never seen her act before, so I can't say anything. Warner Brothers doesn't need to be paid, they make billions of dollars a year, though that doesn't mean the actual producers didn't take bribes of some kind, though I haven't heard anything about that on any other sites, but maybe I'm oblivious. Does anyone know how her father, or family, made millions of dollars? | |

what gets me is that if she was dirt poor no one would be suspicious of how she got the part. i'm sure there were plenty of other rich girls auditioning for the same part. and why all the fuss over her but none about the guy who'll be playing krum and the actress playing fluer? (sp) personally i'm going to trust the casting people (they do this for a living) to have picked someone good. they've done pretty well so far, i don't know why i'd start thinking they can't do it good now. | |
