she did a good job in GOF given that this was her first acting role. Her acting was good during the yule Ball and the rest were ok. |

i love her! but then she is a fellow scot and i will stick up for her! but she was really great in GOF muchb better than i was expecting and i cant wait to see her in OOTP!

I would have to say Katie did an ok job in the movie. I mean ok because Cho wasn't that big of a role in this movie and i didn't get to see Katie's full capabilities as an actress. I mean, Cho only appeared in a few scenes, and all Cho did was look and smile and flirt with Harry, and she spoke only a few lines. I'm not bashing Katie or anything, only saying that her character (Cho) had lack of exposure in the movie and because of that i can't really judge her acting skills. But i think Katie's a sweet girl, and she doesn't deserve all the hate that she is getting. Let's just see what she has to offer in the next installment of harry potter.

Yeah, Katie didn't have too much screen time, but I guess because her character wasn't majorly involved in the main plot of the story which was the three tasks. I did think she looked lovely as Cho. I like when Harry asks her out. That was cute. So far, she has done a good job. We haven't really seen her full capabilities as artemis_vi said. She did a good job of being pretty, that we know. | |

well i've seen the movie now..and i think she really looks the part as cho...but i think she needs to improve a little with her acting but in her defence it was her first film...

probaly..i dont really like her for cho, and she wasnt that good of an actress but then again she didnt have many lines in the movie..i just think the producers could have picked someone better for cho...nothing against her | |

I'm am not a Cho fan by any means but Katie did a good job for the small part she had. She is pretty close to how I pictured Cho to look like. Katie just doesn't look much like a good Quidditch player. | |

isn't she suppose to be much shorter than Harry? Like i pictured her to be petite, but oh well.
she wasnt that bad, like the scenes she was in actually seemed like it should be in the book, cuz they were awkward, quick sort of scenes.
I especially liked when Harry was looking at her, and she looked back and he spit his drink up. | |

Lmao. I'm actually considered a Cho hater but I think Katie is good for the role. I mean, like everyone said, she did have a really small role in GOF and she just played it perfectly!
She's as cool as Cho in my book!

At first, I was really doubtful about her being a great Cho Chang. But, after seeing the movie, I'm pleased with the choice of Katie as Cho!

I went into the movie with nothing against Katie. Now.....I'm not very impressed. She's a cute girl, which is fine, but......I didn't care for her acting.
I know that she's supposed to kinda like Harry, but the whole "Oh My Gosh, are you going to ask me to the ball" look on her face when she already had a date.........I didn't care for. Maybe it was to keep everyone guessing, but it didn't impress me. At the end when she was supposed to be crying........but didn't. No. the girl who did Fleur was better at that.
I don't know, maybe it's because this is her first movie, or maybe it was just bad scene selection. I just hope she's better in OotP.

I thought Katie's acting was sufficient for what little screen time she got. And she was absolutely stunning at the Yule Ball.
BTW, she did cry at the end, but not like someone crying over losing her boyfriend; more like just someone seeing the dead body of someone she knows. | |

she has yet to fully impress me. does she look the part? of course she does. she's cute, and if she trained a bit she could pass as a school quidditch player, but she really didn't have much of a role to play n GoF. now, if she is outstanding n OotP (and by outstanding i mean she plays the role so well that she makes me want 2 stand up n the movie theater, throw my popcorn at the screen and yell "he's not your rebound boy!") then i'll admit that she is perfect 4 the role of cho. until then, i remain undecided. | |

She was on for such a short short time it was difficult to gauge her skill. She had a cute accent - it really threw me off the first time, but I got used to it. She looked lovely inthe Yule Ball scene, I loved her dress, much nicer than that pudding - pink one that Emma Watson wore. | |
