about katie leung as cho: i can say that she's pretty, but she doesn't meet my expectations on what cho chang should be, i hope she'll play her role with her best, still harry is going to fall in ginny's hands anyway... (or maybe not) | |

I think she looks very lovely. Absolutely jaw droppingly gorgeous in the 2 pics I saw of her today. Also, based on the trailers, it seems as if she has some acting chops so that's excellent. The first time I saw her, I really disliked her, but maybe it was juts because she loked ugly in one pic. In the movie, screencaps and other pics, she looks really pretty. I think she's perfect for the role, and she and Rob really look good together (in more ways than one *wink*). Her pictures from the London premiere of GoF are absolutely stunning. It was nice to see how pretty she is. She looked cute with Dan on the after party pictures. I also saw the clip of Harry asking her out just recently and I think she did a great job. I think she's going to be fine as Cho.

From what I read in interviews Katie seems like a very nice and down to earth kind of a girl, if I had to choose one person from the Harry Potter cast to hang out with for a day I would most definitly pick her because like I said she seems very nice and I find myself to be alot like her, as for her acting, well, I have to wait and see the film but I am pretty sure she will do fine considering she beat thousands of other girls for the role, oh yeah, shes also very pretty | |

I don't think Katie gets the credit she deserves sometimes. I also think it's stupid that there are certain fans that are really against her just because she got the part of Cho. The other day when someone was interviewing Dan about Katie in front of an audience, some girls got quiet and one even rolled her eyes. Seriously, it's just a character she's acting as. I was just thinking about that because I notice she had alot of pics with Dan at the NY premiere of GoF. Yeah girls get jealous, but it shouldn't be to the point of hating what seems to be a very sweet person like Katie. | |

Okay... now that I've seen the movie. I can finally say something official about her. Official as in for me that is.. Beware... there might be some minor spoilers. I'll try to limit myself.
So now, what do I really think of her? I think... she's just an okay actress. Maybe it was probably because of her lack of exposure in this one or maybe it's just me. I think she was doing fine with her expressions until the crying scene. Seriously... with all the attention she's been getting, I thought she would be wonderful and would especially shine during the crying scene coz it was where her big break would be coz it isn't easy crying on screen. Even Dan's got some problems and yes even in this one
But she didn't... It may have looked like she was crying but you couldn't feel any emotion in her. It was like "C'mon! Cry! I'm supposed to be sad here! Cedric's just died!"
Well, that's my opinion. I'm not dissing her... really, I'm not. I just believed that she could do a better job and I was probably expecting a bit too much from her. But seriously, it kinda seems like she didn't do her best. | |
